I don't see why TRU has a problem with this guy. He learned this technique from them. Check the TRU warehouses, they have millions of dollars of products they haven't paid for either.

One Assembly Square from Target already shipped and I know I'm not the only one who has a shipment confirmation. This one was ordered standard 2-day shipping, not expedited.

Nervous about this one, but sold my last Lego Ideas Mars Rover 21104 on Amazon for $329.99. Added signature confirmation requirement on delivery, took a bunch of pictures as I double-boxed it...fingers crossed now.

I'm happy that these are shipping, but I always have a sense of dread knowing this crap is showing up.

In my Cardpool issue - they issued a full refund. I’d suggest if you still have weird GC amounts that you bought from them, check online to see if you can use it. .com will tell you when you try to order whether it’s a merch return card. If it is, get your money back now. April 15 is fast approaching and I’m sure Cardpool would rather stick you with the loss than take it themselves.

Finished 10257 Carousel yesterday. Nice build and displays so wonderfully. Noted one issue though, the frog build was a little awkward because the legs would react accordingly. The frog would "jump" up but when going back down the legs would slide back the it wouldn't function right afterwards. I ended up having to put a little sticky tac under the feet to keep them in place and that did the trick. Otherwise, I really enjoyed this one.

Ok, incoming bad jokes: Is that $30 million at RRP or did they add the "above retail TRU tax"? I heard 50% of the $30 million owed is coming from Jyn Erso buildables. The amount owed was much less before but too many re-sellers returned those Bricktober mini-modulars. The amount owed would have been less but TRU misplaced a bunch of polybags inside Megablox tubes. TRU said they will be fine to pay because they already started selling 2019 sets ahead of launch.

It happened here with TRU last year, they effed up in the same way by repricing some items super expensive (grand hotel 500 euros) and others dirt cheap (DS 180 euros). You need to order with express shipping and hope they have a quiet day in the warehouse so they can OK and pack it with same day pick up. Also, avoid ordering multiples in the same order to avoid getting flagged or the whole order getting cancelled if no stock. No fluffing around with coupon codes or whatever and make sure to finalise the order before letting the cat out of the bag! Some say that paying with Paypal is also smart to avoid CC being flagged for high value/repeated purchases. It actually took them a day to fix the web prices but most of the good stuff had already sold out by then. I pity any fool who ordered a Grand Hotel, though.

Simple answer...because more than any other toy companies, those two needed TRU to be their "showroom." I wouldn't be surprised if these companies also help resurrect TRU in some fashion.

Found some scraps at KMart this weekend with 50% off clearance toys and other nonsense. 3 more stores in my region are in the last weeks of their closing and had nothing I was interested in.

Where we go for deals: Are you talking about this set? This retired about 4-5 years ago and it has been long gone from retail already. Average eBay sales are $35-45 (+shipping) for used/complete. I'm fairly certain I saw this set go up to $100+ new on Amazon a couple of years back and now it's at $76 ($66.99+shipping for lowest non-Prime). Another reason for losing hope on Super Heroes.

I love those microbuilds. I’ve got these, plus all the Bricktober sets. They will combine easily. There are people that have released LDDs of the other modulars since as well.
