The best part of owning this on digital is that the movie is only about 20 minutes long now that I can skip past all the crap.7 points

"Is Lego Super Heroes A Good Investment?" No. Is any LEGO set a good investment? No. Real investors would laugh at such a question. Can one make minimum wage selling LEGO items? Maybe.5 points

This is a first after all these years. Target shipping decided I wanted my entire EBay order shoved in one box, so they unboxed the last set and just folded the Lego box down before taping it up to ship. ?♂️4 points

Yous should know we like nothing better than to vent about a shop until they fail - then we realise what we are missing going forward and that Amazon is going to be a horrible monopoly.3 points

UCS Cloud City RPP in Poland will be for 1900PLN which is about price of the Death Star -20%. My mate who works for LEGO Poland send me text with price confirmation but no set number yet. the more interesting is the fact that there will be set named "HOGWARTS(?)" which will be significantly bigger and more expensive than Disney Castle same RPP as UCS Cloud City in Poland. price overses may vary. both D2C. Well, things are getting interesting.3 points

I only wish I had the spare time to go into my TRU store and gloat at the manager and a few of her minions. They always treated me with indifference or spite shutting me down at every promotion and once even canceling a purchase AFTER it was rang up and paid for using TRUTH and gift cards. I made the decision 2 years ago never to purchase from that store again until she no longer is an employee there. I may still get my chance to gloat in 6 month's time after her unemployment checks run out and she is ringing up my purchases at Walmart clearance event.2 points

I definitely need to see better pics first before writing it off. I never expected it to be greatly sought after or an investment winner. I'm just and fan and this will still go on my shelf at work.1 point

Completely agree with 'No.' The target age demographic of the moviegoers is higher than the target age range of the LEGO sets. Kids don't want to recreate the movies with LEGOs, and the sets do a poor job of recreating the movie, anyhow. The biggest winner I can think of is Wolverine's Chopper Showdown that was $20 but goes for over $100, because of Deadpool who sells for $45 alone. Totally concur with Will 4 when he said the value is in the minifigs. Oh, and Ant-Man Final Battle because of its short run gave people some good returns, I think.1 point

No is the short answer but there may be one or 2 good sets per year. I would look at the data for superheros if I was you remember that most of the sets get their value from the figs.1 point

Kmart in-store clearance (not store closing) buys the past 2 days... right at 60% off RRP with some nice retired sets mixed in. 60% could have been higher but with the good coupons none of these are points back deals, so I was able to spend points which means less need for big GC discounts. All clearance discounts are 40% off, since I know that 50% brings the vultures and I didn't want to miss out on using the 30/50 FC coupons on nice limited stock. 10571 ALL-IN-ONE PINK BOX OF FUN $14.51 x1 10811 BACKHOE LOADER $7.01 x1 21121 THE DESERT OUTPOST $28.57 x3 31050 CREATOR CORNER DELI $17.29 x1 31070 TURBO TRACK RACER $15.81 x1 41119 CUPCAKE CAFÉ $18.39 x1 41306 MIA'S BEACH SCOOTER $4.97 x2 41308 STEPHANIE'S FRIENDSHIP CAKES $4.97 x1 41321 SNOW RESORT OFF-ROADER $6.44 x5 41322 SNOW RESORT ICE RINK $6.54 x1 41323 SNOW RESORT CHALET $15.65 x2 41324 SNOW RESORT SKI LIFT $22.01 x2 60101 CARGO PLANE $11.21 x1 70317 FORTREX $42.00 x11 point
