  1. Batwing 70916 $45 on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B06XRMJ856/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1515560928&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=lego+batwing&dpPl=1&dpID=51H-QSkIHPL&ref=plSrch
  2. Won't it possibly be the same returned item (assuming you returned the last) ?
  3. Can’t play cricket for **** either
  4. LEGO BATMAN MOVIE The Batwing 70916 $45 https://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B06XRMJ856/ Edit: ninja'd by sjohn1010 who posted it here first ... nice deal!
  5. A work in progress... and time
  6. $13 at WM today. No, I didn't trespass @exciter1
  7. Let´s face it, if all valued customers were the sharpest knives in the set, we´d be struggling to sell anything. We rely a lot on misinformed, rich, lazy, capricious or high/drunk people to do business.
  8. Lovely, Lego sending their sale stock in original shippers so mint phantoms
  9. Looking at the price I would say Lego doesn't want many sales. Shame as i wanted this, would look great after several modifications to the ship.

Bottle looks fantastic. Ship not so much. The original ship was so much better. If the ship had looked like the original, I would have bought it for sure. Now......maybe for 50% off.
  11. Fellow Brits I think he's giving us some stick! Apparently occasional discounts on Lego is all that good about us!! as for discounts. The US gets the best, whole themes for 50% off or more. Those guys are filling their cars as we speak. Over in the Uk yes we get the occoasionK good deal but they are often limited to a few sets and only at a handful of stores. I got lucky this time, but most deal chases are a bust.
  12. My backordered Winter Holiday Train arrived and the shipping box included this "collect them all" sticker. Normally, I'd just give something like this away, but if there's some mystery or bigger game to it, I'd hold onto it. It seems silly in its simplicity and plainness to make 4 generic brick stickers a worthy marketing campaign. Oh wait, maybe if you collect all 4, you get banned. I see what's going on now.
  13. Haven’t seen these yet.
  14. I not worried at all. Well actually, I started selling my Harry Potter sets when I first heard rumors of the new Harry Potter sets for 2018. These are my sets with boxes, I actually have tons without boxes. But by mid summer, I should have sold all of my Harry Potter inventory.

**SoCal Red Alert** The Geoffrey's Bargain Box TRU clearance outlet on La Palma in Buena Park marked the whole store down 50% this morning. They have a fairly large amount of Lego but set selection is limited. My friend got there first and arm swept the Technic (bucket excavators $115), the Caterham 7's ($30) and some others. I picked up some good part out sets (Ninjago, Nexo, Friends). Plenty left for the horde to scavenge.
  16. I think Tabby has enough anecdotes to write a book about Lego investing. Probably include a free Doctor Who with each copy sold too.
  17. Only ordered one Kwik-E-Mart from Smyth's but the packaging was the best I've had. Oversized box with many, many air cushions.

Interestingly enough, about 20 minutes after finishing with chat I got an email from Barnes with shipping confirmation, complete with tracking. UPS even. Sent from my PH-1 using Brickpicker Forum mobile app
  19. I'm also Cambridgeshire. Online shopping is my only option really!

My reimbursement request was made by an Amazon CS rep on December 28. Twice they sent me a generic response that they were still researching the issue with their technicians. Today I chatted with CS and they said I should expect a reimbursement within 3-5 business days. I have the chat log as documentation in my case. Hopefully this works out in the end.
  21. Staples has a 25% off coupon for shipping supplies with code 58893. Not the best discount we've seen....but I'm sure some of you are low on supplies right now!!
  22. Apparently these stores have the BB8's still; Bromley By Bow, South Tottenham & Gallions Reach: https://www.tesco.com/direct/lego-star-wars-bb-8-75187/194-4301.prd?skuId=194-4301
  23. Do you not think the accountants at Tesco have costed this out? Packing up and sending back partial pallets, susceptible to damage, then pushing back into general stock probably costs more than the part of the discount they have to eat.
  24. Still available from several (online) retailers here: TRU Netherlands: from €159,99 for €134,99 ... http://www.toysrus.nl/product/index.jsp?productId=47426201 A-Tembo: for €139,95 ... https://www.a-tembo.nl/lego/millennium-falcon-75105 SpeelgoedNL: for €139,95 ... https://www.speelgoednl.nl/lego-75105-star-wars-millennium-falcon Vivolanda.nl: for €140 ... https://www.vivolanda.nl/nl/product/5838/1SSLKS1H/speelgoed-alle-thema-s-star-wars/lego-star-wars-millennium-falcon Clicknbrick.nl: for €144,95 ... https://www.clicknbrick.nl/lego-75105-star-wars-millennium-falcon.html
  25. It will never reach that price in Europe, don´t worry.
  26. The whole reason prices go so low at Tesco in store is the value of the shelf space. It's as simple as that and has very little of anything to do with Lego marketing. Once Christmas has passed Tesco need the extra space they allocated to toys back for other items like Valentines stuff & Easter Eggs
  27. Early December I exchanged my free Bitcoin Cash amount (received because of the Bitcoin fork) into ETH. That was an excellent move, looking back now! It trippled in value since then, while BCH is more or less stable. Though I do believe that BCH will grow as well in the near future. I liquidated all my remaining BTC though, because I lost faith in the future of BTC. I think other cryptocoins are more promising.

Actuallt that is cheap vs buying the individually if your Amazon prices anything like US

Poof ...doh! I think half of my posts are: “Poof...” Or “gone...” I’m starting to get a complex.
  30. Received two today- also in mint condition and no stickers on them
  31. Me and my mountain of multiples of 7 sand baseplates all say you guys suck.

The limited production numbers always drives demand. The SDCC Wonder Woman Brick Headz will always be worth more than the regular release because there are far fewer. I actually think the JL version looks better than the SDCC version but it will never hold the same value. Justice League non-exclusiveSDCC Limited Edition
  33. I switched as many parts as i could to black (think there's 3 parts only available in lbg) . Worked out around £40 using only UK bricklink stores so delivery was cheap and fast.
  34. Haha, no kidding. Someone wrote instructions that use the Tower Bridge to create a modular building. About to drop $20 on those...
  35. His life took a downward trend if he's slinging responses for Bezos these days...
  36. asking for basic rights is never going too far FOR SPARTA !!!!!
  37. Well, glad I took the opportunity when it was available to me. The offer got sold out at some point during the day, and only 3rd party offers are available now, at > €70. I helped getting the stock down.

What makes rehashing themes OK is that new kids are born every year.

$299 zoo $29-$119 different enclosures Even easy to do hot dog stands, different animals in polybags, other vendors Zoo would do amazing. Every city would have a zoo area waiting for every new set. Collectors would demand to have EVERY animal/set
  40. Sold two for £99.98 each on FBA a week or two ago, no FBA sellers left now Edit: Someone read my post lol, because there was two listings left, only one now for over £800?
  41. Wow, I just about fell off my high horse when I checked what this set is going for on USAmazon. 265 USD FBA is amazing considering you can still find it discounted over here and it is barely breaking above RRP (SAH marked it down to 50% off).
  42. I bought them after Christmas for $30-40 and sold them on Amazon for $120-130 in less than a year. Seems like a winner to me
  43. So ... One year after official retirement, and two years after the last post about this set, what do people think about this set ? It hasn't reached original RRP yet, as far as I can see. At least on Bricklink. Not an instant winner, that's for sure.

I really like the new dragons as well. Are you talking about this castle @Alpinemaps? I saw it at Target tonight. It's a really good looking set. As an added bonus, I feel like this set has a Maleficent's Castle sort of vibe to it. I think the recent Disney CMF would look great if Elves mini-dolls aren't your bag.
