Yea, I also saw that memo - "Anyone who doesn't like the Last Jedi is sexist, and racist".6 points

Stolen from EB, who stole it from the Brick Show: Here are descriptions/names for all 17 of the coming LEGO Series 18 minifigures. One cool thing to mention, all of these come on an orange baseplate, not black as they typically do. Red Suit Brick Guy – in a red 4×2 brick, holding a blue 1×1. Police Officer – old LEGO style, exactly like the one in LEGO set 600. He’s holding a printed 1×2 tile picturing LEGO set 600. Elephant Suit Girl – female wearing elephant suit, with a pink tutu and holding a mouse. Rocket/Firework Guy – male wearing a rocket/firework that is blue, top of firework is red and his pants are dark grey. Star/explosion printing all over in yellow. Red Dragon Suit Guy – cool looking red dragon suit with black spikes on his tail and horns. Red wings attach to the back. Your going to love the head mold, the dragon looks tough. Birthday Cake Guy – guy in a birthday cake wearing a light blue suit, gold hat and bow-tie. Pink icing splattered print on his torso. No legs, all cake. Race Car Guy – guy wearing a blue and white racers outfit as a molded red race car is attached between his torso and legs. Pretty cool look. Race car has a white fin and some printing on it. Flower Girl – girl dressed as a dark pink flower. New mold that fits over her head with face coming through the middle of the flower. Green torso to match coloring of the stem. No legs, she attaches to a clay flower pot. Blue Brick Girl – in a blue 4×2 brick, holding a red 1×1. Blue Unicorn Knight – male dressed as a blue unicorn. lol. Comes holding a gold sword and a white shield with a white unicorn printed on it. Orange Balloon LEGO Fan Boy – not a costume at all. Boy with short legs, green glasses. His torso is white but printed with light blue minifigure heads and a multi-color tie. He comes with an orange balloon and 2 LEGO Series 1 minifigure pack printed 1×1 tiles. Also comes with a printed birthday present. This one is going to be easy to feel for with all these accessories. He is wearing shorts using a multi-tone colored legs. Spider Suit Guy – could actually be female, can’t tell. All black suite with white spider web printing on torso.Head mold has 4 molded and printed spider eyes on top of head. Also two fangs colored dark grey molded into head piece. Comes holding a black spider and an eight-legged mold attaches to back of figure. Purple Balloon Girl – the compliment to the Orange Balloon LEGO Fan Boy. However, this girl doesn’t like LEGO. Here torso printing is just multi-color square on a white shirt. She is wearing light blue shorts using a multi-tone colored legs. Wearing a purple birthday hat. Accessories are a purple balloon, donut, cookie and a birthday gift. Cactus Girl – girl wearing a new molded cactus piece. The arms on the torso are also new, as they look like an extension to the cactus with no hands. Green legs. Cowboy Suit Guy – Cowboy with white hat. A horse attaches between his legs and torso so it looks like he is riding on a horse. Horse mold does no carry through to the back. Brown legs. Balloon Artist Clown – Fun clown! Wearing a light green top-hat with a purple flower printed on it. Orange and purple torso printed vest. Orange coattails attach to his legs and carry about an inch off of him in the back. Red bow-tie attaches to his neck. Light green legs to match his top-hat. The best part is he comes holding balloons that he has twisted into dogs. Cat Suit Guy/Girl – I cannot tell if this is male or female. Looks almost exactly like Slyvester the Cat. Comes holding a blue fish.5 points

Here's pictures of the upcoming sets. Overall, I like these better than the last jedi... http://www.rebelscum.com/story/front/LEGO_First_Solo_Set_Pics_178195.asp5 points

We didn't have Netflix and the amount of content back then. We'd watch Mary Poppins, Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom, The Sound of Music, Battlestar Galactica, and Star Wars on any given night. Oh, and Wide World of Sports.4 points

Ah to be a child again and not give a crap about any of the technicalities, plot holes, inconsistancies and pre conceived ideas of what Star Wars should be.3 points

I’m working on a moc of the cantina scene using parts from 2 of 75052 and 1 of the recently released 75205. Still gotta add some more tables and then populate with aliens and whatnot. Im no expert moc man. I borrowed the design from someone off Facebook. Still toying around. Suggestions are welcome!3 points

Yeah! Egghead is here! Decided to jump on a price match to Walmart and used a 20% off gift card, so Egghead was $19.20. I had to build him before@Alpinemaps had the chance, so here he is. Cool set and Condiment King is a nice bonus.3 points

More bullish than ever on this set. Nice to see you working on that New Years Resolution.3 points

75173 Luke's Landspeeder is such a hot seller that it is important that 2 more be on the market. How could it possibly fail? I'm excited for them release "Mos Eisley Cantina Parking Garage" - Overflow parking for all your landspeeders!3 points

Pretty much all the recent city sets are places that have had terror attacks, I guess if it happens after release they don´t do anything. They´ll wait 6-9 months and put it out in the summer.2 points

You've all convinced me - Star Wars is mostly just random nonsense. At least we still have Santa.2 points

So you are angry that they were being consistent with ep V, I, & Clone Wars series ???? Heck even Krennic parked his shuttle far away from Erso's farm2 points

Ding ding ding. Although in my case I am mostly excited just to get sets to build at retail. My 9 year old and I are stoked for these, just finishing up book 7 right now.2 points

If the new MF costs a whopping €170 in Germany, it will be most likely €180 - €185 in many other EU countries (NL/BE/Spain). Which is even better news for those of us holding 75105, acquired at good discount.1 point

We do know that. Abrams is on record as saying Leia concentrated on politics and the resistance and did nothing about training. The books go into this as well. Plus, Leia was unconscious after being exploded into space. She shouldn’t have survived that, much less woken up to manifest complete mastery of this previously unknown skill. Who does she think she is, Rey?1 point

Chewbacca is in the MF. Looks like it's Kira, Han Solo, Chewbacca, and Lando. The other looks like it's the one called "Mother Proxima". Overall, this is a set i'd wait to buy when it's on discount, and I'm not sure i'd open to build. It's one you just hold...especially if you have one of the previous past two falcons (which we do).. The speeders look pretty cool to me, and I also like the look of the range troopers. They are kinda in the same vein with the Imperial troopers in Rogue One with the Scarif and Death Troopers. Overall, these sets aren't bad, IMO. The sets with the landspeeders also look fun. The Tie fighter is one of those sets I know i'll end up eventually caving in and buying. It's a definite upgrade over the 2012 version (don't remember the set number). It also looks like it has some interesting minifigures, although one looks Captain Phasmaish... Overall, I like this theme. I thought the initial Rogue One launch with 5 sets was also good (looking back, those sets stand out a little more as time goes on)... The 2 Last Jedi waves are fairly boring, and the movie makes them even more dull, so these are at least a step above that.1 point

I think they will do as "well" as the movie. There is clear evidence of SW burnout with all the remakes still shelf warming after Xmas - even BB8 is easy to find. These will just get lost in the spring apathy season. Anyone still holding TIE playsets will want to sell, of course.1 point

If you want to subject your family and or neighbors to horrible burning plastic fumes, by all means, burn away. Or, how about washing those mega blocks and donating them to a worthy charity? A shelter for battered women and children seems like a good idea.1 point

Harry Potter sets are largely immune to the damaging effects of remakes (they have that secret ingredient).1 point

I'm putting my remake rage on hold for the moment due to the D2C. Depending on how that turns out I can look the other way on these remakes. If the D2C is underwhelming I will be much more upset. Hard to be more angry than usual about remakes these days though considering it is the only thing Lego knows how to do. At this point I just expect old stuff with 50 extra studs and a price point $20-30 more expensive.1 point

I’m just saying the whole complaining about the fuel situation and being able to track people through hyperspace is tiresome and old. The entire galaxy that these films are made off of is fictional so how can anyone know what is realistic and what isn’t? Do you own a gigantic spaceship that flys through space? If so what kind of fuel does it burn and what kinda MPG does it get? These films were primarily made to entertain children and adults alike and expand our imaginations. Children enjoy them for what they are meanwhile a good chunk of the self entitled adult base thinks they know what is realistic in a 100% fictional galaxy and what isn’t. Instead of nit picking every little plot point that you don’t agree with just enjoy it for what it is. Be thankful that we have anything to watch at this point. If George was still steering the ship we’d prolly only have an animated show on CN at best.1 point

Thanks @The Rookie. A few months ago when I was deciding what to get rid of to lighten inventory it didn't look as promising. Definitely holding. Since I mainly deal in used Lego, I know where exactly where this comes from. Rarely will a used Lego appreciate significantly if I hold onto it - most already hold their intrinsic value. Hard for used Lego resellers to switch mindsets. Plus I like the quicker cash flow turnaround.1 point

If Disney wants to watch the Star Wars brand go up in smoke, then having a bad Solo film follow a divisive Last Jedi will set the ball rolling. I disliked the Last Jedi and have pretty much written off episode 9 and anything Rian Johnson touches, so where is it heading? It’s not looking good. Rogue One might be the only real bright spot.1 point
