Used lot locally for $250. Spotted the AT-AT (needed one to go with the AoH I just picked up) and a few other winners in the photos, but theres even more than I expected. Most of the sets are 90%+ assembled, though some are completely disassembled. Coupon at B&N definitely did not work for me, but with 30% off sale, membership, and $25 back on $100 - basically comes out to 50% off if you get your total purchase price close to $100. As a note, that's AFTER Membership for whatever annoying reason, so make it close to $110. If you can handle the crowds and beat up boxes, some decent deals to be had. I wish I had any faith whatsoever in LEGO Batman Movie sets.

After looking through The Lego Book for what has to be the thousandth time my eyes focused on set 3221 Lego Truck from 2010 and I knew instantly I had to have it. After seeing the price it was selling for I decided to BrickLink the parts. Fortunately it only took 3 orders and cost under $40. My daughter said, “Daddy, it only real needs the Lego sticker on the cab of the truck”, so using her wisdom I did exactly that and it really does have too many Lego stickers (down the side and on the back doors) and other stickers for my liking. The minifigures are close to the originals in the actual set and inspiration struck to create an Alex minifigure from Ice Road Truckers and that is the reason for the brown hat for the driver! Maybe I should use the truck to deliver all the packages with the sets we have been selling during the Christmas season. I have sold more sets than ever recently and I hope you all are doing the same.

Had a spare couple of hours so took the opportunity to build the scout trooper and speeder. Not UCS but nonetheless a great build that more than holds it own against the rest of the ucs collection. I was at the Lego store last night and for what's it worth I overheard an employee tell two customers the initial release of the new UCS Falcon in the U.S. was 5,000 and the next release will be in February 2018. This discussion probably belongs in the 75192 thread.

I was at B&N early today before I saw this ad. I bought 2 $50 sets at 50% off and the cashier told me that I got 25% off 1 item... But that it wasn't ringing up because of the 50%. So I bought them, then went back and got an Apollo (119.99) and the cashier rang it up. The 25% didn't come off and I said that Lego are probably excluded and if put it back. She said they are included and then pulled out a calculator and rang it up. I guess the last matter of business is to take the first receipt back for a $10 adjustment. Last week's US shipment alone was in the 2k ballpark. Just between the weekly shipments and legolands shipments in us plus however many sold online it would be well over 10k in us alone.

UCS MF yesterday in store. I sacrificed the double decker bus and the double points because I didn’t want to risk losing out on the special Vip card, and of course this beautiful set. Good news is I called Lego customer service and just asked if they can award me my double points from my purchase yesterday. After pulling upy account and confirming my purchase, the polite customer service rep understood the situation and awarded me an extra 800 points. Lego customer service is the best!!!! I didn’t want to push and ask for the free bus. I did get that wu keychain yesterday though. A win is a win.
