or they know about a remake. or they have 50 and they don't want to be toy planet selling all of them once. sell a slice here, sell a slice there. 75094 is a great set but the hoped for demand just is not there based on the sales rank numbers and the current seller count is over 100. the set was on a 40% off permasale. its doing as expected. i always load on an extra few clearance sets just before EOL to sell short hold set into the bump to boost cagr, keep cash flow even from month to month. it took 3 months to sell 4 sets into the EOL bump. that's not good. the price has gone steadily down since the summer with the worsening glut of sellers. so yeah you can tie up $200 capital on 4 sets for another year and hope to make $100 more in a year maybe or take the 30% profit and capital and put your brain to work coming up with a better investment where there aren't 100something star wars fans sitting with 40-60 in their storage areas. until this set loses half of its sellers its going to be under $180. ecto1 is suffering a similar fate. this is not the graph of a 2017 winner. this is the graph of a 2017 winner. 75094 will probably end up doing like palpatine's arrest which took several years to sell through the permasale stock and is now poised for rapid growth.

No, 42054 Claas was definitely marked a retired product at first. I have a screenshot of that. Now it says "Naleveringen worden geaccepteerd en worden verzonden na 5 Dec 2017" which means that they'll accept new orders. The ordered sets will be sent after the 5th of December 2017.

no, Im not.. a few hrs back (at least yesterday) when you put these numbers into e-shop search engine it showed both products as retired.. therefore Im constantly using the term ".. local e-shop shows them AS RETIRED" - exactly b/c of these reasons that they might come back accepting your view would mean that whoever reports anything as "retired" (despite the fact that at that specific moment LEGO e-shop shows that specific set RETIRED) would mean that nobody should report anything RETIRED unless some period went by.. two weeks? .. three weeks?

Maybe they're doing another one because they didn't shift as much as they were expecting with the last one. No surprise, given the boring prices.

My money is on panic.

Lighthouse is sold out (probably from bogo) but it's price matched on amazon.

Glad I didn't go all in like 2 years ago with the Gingerbread House, or even last year when I saved some bigger purchases to coincide with the Snowglobe promo. This year I'm saving my money for better discounts.

Why the rush, though. It will be around till late 2018 and that price will come back around again too if not better.
