Made an annual Mom and Pop trip this morning. I’ll have to organize and count it up later.7 points

Thanksgiving weekend builds... pizza van and a $7 cupcake cafe. Both are really cute builds!4 points

25% off RRP at a local Mom and Pop. They have a rewards program now, so I generated a few $10 off gift cards to stack on these. Effectively the gc at least took care of quite a bit of the sales tax. I finally unloaded the truck.3 points

Been up for a while, but the kids had finally left it in a state that worked for pictures (after a few adjustments). Still don’t know where the train and station will fit. Currently built with no home.2 points

No. I'm thinking you are actually living in 1-5 years in the past and you merely travel into the future (today) to tell us what you just picked up as a new release back then.2 points

WHAT IF...Exciter isn't actually going back in time to pick up his sets, but is actually traveling into the future/present to tell us about his purchases....?2 points

Unfortunately it is no longer working, though I'm hopeful there will be another code for Cyber Monday. In retrospect, Rakuten offered a 30% code around one month ago, which means this set was a better deal then since it was the same discounted price before the promo code. Despite the hype, Black Friday is not the "be-all end-all" of sales, although there have been some good markdowns as well.2 points

@landphieran I'd say your UPS driver is just being a crybaby. I've always heard UPS driver is one of the best paying jobs in the world for basically just driving around 90% of your day. Lately he doesn't have time to flirt with that hot receptionist on his route, so he blames you. I wouldn't change a thing. Keep doing what you're doing. If he starts missing pick ups, call and complain. If he whines to you anymore, hand him a job application for Walmart.2 points

Yes, have sold through quite some stuff the last few days by just matching bigger guys on the buy box. I think the BB depends on warehouse location as much as price, so if your stuff is in a different DC/FC which is closer to the potential buyer, you might be shown to that buyer as having the BB instead of TP.2 points

Well, I went to my local B&M store to see what they had. Nothing too noteworthy but a few gems: 40174 Iconic Chess Set x 2 @ $38.50 each (This is a cool set.) 60144 Race Plan @ 7.99 (Gift) 60146 Stunt Truck @ $7.99 (Gift) 40262 Christmas Train Ride @ $6.99 40254 Nutcracker Freebie Personally, I'm a fan of the Seasonal vignettes for the future.2 points

What always surprises me the most about Ex's trips in his DeLorean is how pristine the boxes are.1 point

Well, they are on season 13 of Canada´s Worst Driver so there seems to be quite a pot of talent to dip into.1 point

I was buying in store (never even checked online) and some sets are already discounted on the shelf. So Krennic shuttles are discounted to $72 on the shelf and then another 25% is discounted at the register1 point

Black Friday sale is 25% off all toys including LEGO (all weekend). Can be combined with already discounted sets so some savings exceeding 50% off. I'm buying Krennic shuttles for under $57 with tax! Lots of Batman movie sets with some of it already discounted.1 point

It sounds like all you've got is a bitchy driver...UPS is in the business of package pick up and package delivery, and you're operating well within the bounds of their guidelines so this is far more the driver's problem than it is your problem. If he keeps bitching, call UPS and talk with them about how to manage your shipments. I drop all my packages at a local UPS store and they never have a problem with the volume even when I fill 3/4 of the store with boxes.1 point

Easily the best designer video format. There’s personality and style here that we’ve never seen in a designer video. The production is also really polished - nicely done.1 point

I don't know. It's showing sold out at LEGO Shop at Home. I stopped by a b@m and picked up a few this morning. Didn't want to take any chances and not get any if I waited for the supposedly 30%. edit* now it's showing call to check product availability, but either way I don't see this being available for CM.1 point

But that's quite obviously what they have done. It's this thing. This isn't really a debate or opinion situation. It's a neat homage to a Kenner toy that never was. Bang on TFA all you want for being derivative, but this is a really cool nod to fans of Star Wars & Kenner. Even if they put this thing in the movie, that's still what it would be. A clever nod to the uber-nerds1 point

When you leave feedback it now asks if you received your parcel by that date. I recently ordered some items from Germnay that missed the date by a few days but I just answered yes because the seller was awesome to deal with and I think the eBay delivery estimate was **** anyways.1 point
