Math is hard... Accidentally only ordered enough parts for half the assembly, but here we are so far. Drew A LOT of inspiration from 10179 MOC engines that were floating around the forums, so big thanks to those amazing designers. Was also able to use the pool noodles behind the trans-blue elements to get a nice effect. Happy to answer any questions or take deconstructed pics.

At target I picked up a bunch of Santa Polybags and Christmas trees for the holiday season. Overall pretty good haul

Very old saying but still applies today: "a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush". I sold all of mine now, while there is guaranteed money to be made. It may be a winner down the line, let's hope for a quick retirement.

My two certificates (generated today and about two weeks ago) do not have the exclusion of Lego anymore: *Excludes Build-A-Bear, Gift Cards, SquareTrade Protection Plans, phone orders, all fees, and shipping.

Probably another 12 months? My receipts say 11th and 12th November. I was kind of hoping for a similar sale this year to get a couple of modulars for personal collection.

It was available at my local Target today. The packaging is certainly unusual. It is a cross between the build and take models at TRU and an actual polybag. It has a sealed unmarked poly with the pieces inside an adhesive sealed bag that also had the instructions.

Whenever things are going their way, some sellers love the free market and competition. It's brought up whenever a customer or Amazon reviewer is ticked off at scalping. But when someone, one of the many sellers whose independent actions make up the free market, acts independently, the same people dislike the free market. If you care one way or another how one seller decides to price his product, maybe you are one of those people who should be internalizing that "if you can't afford to lose it, don't invest it" statement I've seen here recently.

I never have understood why people post pictures like this on their listing and enter their max quantity that they have. It's telling the potential buyer " I got plenty of these. No rush. Wait to see if the price drops further".

Gotta love it when the manager of the local TRU calls you and asks if you want all the leftovers from the BB-8 build....

I talked to my "regular" TRU cashier the other day, and she was very surprised about the LEGO exemption and said she just looked at someone's rewards the other day, and it didn't mention it. So apparently, it's back off. Related - Does anyone know if you can pay with Rewards and say, use the coupon for the $10 gift card? Or does it need to be actual payment for $75 to get the gift card?

After much research & deliberation this morning, we went into the store thinking we would purchase the Ferrari. However, once he saw the Fishing Store he started thinking about how he could get that instead. It didn't take too much arm twisting, but he now owes me $25 and walked out with the Fishing Store in hand. 2.5 hours later he's still building, and I imagine will finish it before bedtime. He loves it. Again, many thanks. Looks like Ferrari will be on his Christmas list. And as FYI -- Our store no longer had the Caterham. They did have a few of the Women of NASA on the shelf. Saturn V is still only sold upon request.

Well, I’ve been quite busy for the past 6 months or so…but I have been slowly piecing together and building a train terminal that I purchased the instructions from on eBay (https://www.ebay.com/itm/Lego-Station-PDF-instructions-MOC-Building-City-Modular-/152374747648?hash=item237a3e2200). I also did some modifications and customized it a little bit by adding a comic shop and a small convenience store (with stickers from Brick Builders Pro (http://www.brickbuilderspro.com/). It was quite the project and I just finished it, so I thought I would show some pictures to you all. I had some help sourcing some of the parts from my local Bricks and Minifigs store. There are around 12,000-13,000 parts to the building. Eventually I plan on adding a 60051 High Speed Passenger train or two and doing some more changes/modifications to it….but I am going to save that for a later date.

I found about 15 on the top shelf almost behind a Lego friends set. Target. Took them all and about 10 turtles. I thought they would be fun to give to the neighborhood kids closer the Christmas. I haven’t seen any since, but Target has been putting polys all over place. Every register and at least 3 isle caps. I saw just a few ninjago polys at the registers, but I don’t remember if it’s the one someone just asked about on here. I’ll check tomorrow. 99% were Star Wars, and 85% were walker and the rest were some other one I cannot find online. Maybe 5 each of City, Batman and turtles.
