For any Lego dimensions fans looking to get the latest wave at a good price, Target.com has stacking B2G1 discounts. Works out to a little more than 50% off, which I am guessing is the best we will see on the latest wave for a while.

I went to London with my family for a grand ol' time. Of course I also visited the Leicester Square Lego store, and a Toys'R'Us (which still had those TRU exclusive minifigures sets and the free Christmas tree promo thingy). And I managed to get 18 Lester minifigs as well for friends, colleagues and other interested people. The big boxes are all for my own collection! Funny to see how the mini London Bus was still sold at Leicester Square for 10 pounds with plenty of stock, while Hamleys was selling them for 15 pounds! I got a good (30%) discount on the Disney Castle, Brick Bank, Snowspeeder and London Bus sets. For the Assembly Square (already cheaper in the UK than in The Netherlands) I used my saved up VIP points to get it down to 135 pounds, or about €155. Disney Castle at 30% discount came down to 210 pounds, or €241 which is much cheaper than €350 in The Netherlands! All in all a great haul, even when I had to take those big boxes with me in the underground to get to the hotel where we were staying.

For those of you who found the sets covered by the 40% off coupon OOS, you might have luck if you go to the customer service desk in the store and ask to have the sets ordered. To my surprise, my wife was at our local store and said the CS rep ordered us the OOS sets we wanted (at the current discount prices, stacked with the 40%), to be shipped to our house. Also got 2 of the free R3-M2s and a Bricktober pack. Could very well be a YMMV situation, but that I should pass it along in case you want to try.

When you think about the fact, that Mr. Mars Rover has earned 30000 × 1% of 24.99 = 7500, then I have made exactly the same money having sold 100 of them after retirement. This means that for a Mr. Apollo villa Lego would need to sell 500000 Saturn V - what is really impossible with the current production setup at Lego.

They didn't charge me it but told me if the falcon is returned regardless of being opened they will charge a 10% of the cost as a restocking fee. It's to deter scalpers/resellers that can't sell the product.

I wonder what would happen if Kevin Szeto (YS), and the designers of Research Institute, Maze and even Apollo, ended up at a dinner party together and discussed Lego royalties? I guess Kevin would have to pick up the tab, unless they were eating at McDonalds.

I agree. But I guess some people think they gotta do what they gotta do. I can kind of understand it on slower selling items... they wanna move inventory and not pay storage fees, so they want to maximize their chances of having the buy box when that one buyer is ready to buy. But idiots undercutting on something like the XXL Box 10697... that thing sells like hot cakes... I send in 4 at a time. When they're registered at Amazon as "received", I match the buy box price, and all four are sold within a couple hours. Sold my last ones via FBA a few days ago at $91. I saw some idiot sell ten of them this morning at, I think, $79? Undercut the next seller by $3 or so. Now they're at FBA $86... This thing could be selling out at $100 if sellers weren't so desperate to sell in minutes instead of hours.

Wonder Woman set for my DC minifigure collection. Not sure whether to include Ares in the collection or not - he looks a bit disappointing in pics. Next up, Joker Manor once it’s released and the Justice League set minifigures before the oncoming crush of New LBTM minifigures coming in January.

A couple area stores dropped down to 50% this week, however - one that I went to, their price scanners showed 50%, but the registers were ringing at 40%, causing a fiasco. In addition, they would not take the Ebay Digital Sears gift cards, saying it was store policy. Mind you, they'd taken them in the past, and I didn't feel like putting up a fight, but the whole situation annoyed me. This is perhaps one of the few stores of any chain I go to that views me with a bit of suspicion and disdain. Most stores seem appreciative when I wipe out their clearance trash no one else wants.

Yea, the city ones have never appealed to me much. What I meant by the SW calendar is that in previous years you had a bodafide Xmas fig with unique colours and prints. Last year it was a white Xmas Chewie, year before that a Santa torso C3PO. An Xmas hat I can whack on any fig and it's not special. Still is good for army building and has some ok stuff. I wouldn't say they are good for investment.

These 2. Well... the Ferrari was actually built 2 weeks ago, but three pieces were "missing", in the sense that they were either the wrong color, or replaced by another piece of (I guess) approximately the same weight. New box, bought online from Lego with double VIP. It's been a while since I encountered a sealed box with missing parts. The replacements arrived yesterday, so finally I could finish it. Looks better in real life than on pictures. Too bad of the visible blue technic pins. Have to have a look at that sometime. And then there is Rey's speeder that I actually fixed a bit (IMNSHO). I don't fancy stud shooters, the front grille looked too square to me, and there were too many studs on top. So I experimented a bit.

Promo gift, $10 mini after points, and falcon with wheels and special booklet. They reminded me of a 10% restocking fee during checkout... even if sealed. Happy, I am. A couple saw me walking to my vehicle and as they were behind they said "That's a falcon right there!". Lol Orlando, FL got 20 in today. Saw three people picking up while I was there.

Disagree. Curse of mass discounted stock. It’s selling at over double my average buyin and I’m happy to move it at double buyin with the current low fees market place.
