Finally got around to picking up the UCS Snowspeeder. I knew i'd love it, but just couldn't justify picking up without some promos/double VIP. The Snowspeeder was probably my favourite SW vehicle as a kid, i remember bringing one of those Action Fleet Snowspeeders everywhere as a kid. Also going from building 75192 to this was almost laughable. Only 1 bag per step!? what is this a juniors build? ? Guess i'll never again think a set takes too long to build after 75192...10 points

Got 4842 Hogwarts and 10217 Diagon Alley fully completed today. Both great sets. My favourite bit is probably the great hall. Now to find some new owners for them!5 points

Hang on, you're charging your friends and family extra (your post implies you shifted at a significant personal gain)? That's pretty low.4 points

Hello everyone. I’d like to introduce you to BrikBiz, a mobile BrickLink store manager app that I've been working on for the past year and a half while at the same time, running our own BrickLink store. This is an app designed for BrickLink store owners, therefore, it requires a BrickLink Seller account to operate. Here’s a summary of what it does: Easily manage your BrickLink store on-the-go. Keep track of incoming Orders, or send Drive Thru messages immediately after dropping off the Order. And see your store’s overall performance. Update your inventory without having to squint. Increase (or decrease) item pricing or send them to the Stockroom. Look up the Price Guide and have your items competitively priced. Share links to Inventory items and save your customers from having to dig around your store. Search for Catalog items, and see each item in it’s full detail, including Item Number, Year Released, Inventory, where the Item appears, Color Info and Price Guide. The Part Out Value feature comes useful when you’re out shopping for the best sets to Part Out. Last but not least, mark lots as Complete or Incomplete in the Part Out Helper. Useful when parting out multiple large sets. Following is a comprehensive list of features: ORDER MANAGEMENT View Orders as you receive them Update Order status as you see fit Send Messages to your customers Post Feedback once the order is Completed Send Drive Thru messages right after dropping off the Order View list of Items in the Order, including batched orders Mark Items in the Order as Verified after pulling them Add Shipping, Insurance and other Costs Send Invoices when the Order is Ready INVENTORY MANAGEMENT Load your entire store Inventory View your Inventory based on Category, Color, Item Type and Availability Update Inventory details with ease Set Pricing and Discounts Edit Tiered Pricing Send Items to StockRoom Share links to Inventory items CATALOG Look up the BrickLink Catalog See detailed Item information Check Item availability and Color See up-to-date Price Guide Check Part Out Value for Sets, Minifigs and Gear PART OUT HELPER Mark lots as Complete, Incomplete when parting out multiple large sets CLOUD SYNCING Sync Orders, Catalog and Part Out Helper data across multiple devices OFFICIAL BRICKLINK STORE API Please ensure that you have enabled API access beforehand. All done! Took a little more work than i thought to put on all the panels again and adjust them to be as gravity proof as possible, some trial and error with a lot of things. The stupid LED cord wasn't long enough, so i had to move it around inside and run the wire up through a different spot (oh and i painted the wire ;)). The mount itself isn't perfectly level (even though the holes i drilled are) guess this is just the construction of the mount itself in that it bows a certain direction for whatever reason, maybe it's just getting old? Still some things i need to play around with, but nothing that will be really visible, so this is as good a time as any to share the finished product. Just realized i took these pictures with the mount swung the wrong way, the MILF is indeed centered with the TV and not strangely off centered The mount can be placed flat 2 ways, got it placed flat on the wrong side for these pictures. Right above the tv! perfectly visible spot, as i said it does center with the TV, mount swung the wrong way for this shot. As with 10179 i keep these LED's on 24/7 pretty much as basically the nightlight for the living room area. We also change the colour based on the season, so it will be Orange for Halloween One of the things i still need to fix - making the falcon more parallel to the wall. As you can kind of see here it's leaning a bit to one direction. Just need to loosen the swivel and adjust, but easier said then done as you do need 2 people. Landing gear can be removed if you'd like, but i keep it on, plus it also acts as a support against the wall. Anyways overall very happy, looks better than my 10179 did on the wall. That vertical stand has been floating around built of Technic pieces which would probably be much easier than this, but that would still need a shelf or something to sit on, and i don't have the space to do that, so this was really my only option. Other option would certainly be a lot more stress-free haha, i'm still cautious of something on the mount failing, and any odd creaks/cracks makes my eyes dart towards it, but it should be fine just as 10179 was. So that concludes this log, hope you enjoyed!2 points

One will be built by me and put on display with my other Lego Star Wars sets. The other box is going to an ex-colleague who is a Lego Star Wars fan. Not making any profit there, but just making another AFOL happy. Which means that both boxes will be opened, and two less NISB sets available on the resellers market.2 points

Janice's spew in accounting after a heavy bender tossing it all up in the morning. Only other thing for Orange, tree leaves that have fallen during Fall color change or another type of lava flowing, Burnt grass is tan, but Fried Grass I believe can be Orange, Fire in general. But I still think a large mess from Janice is dead on.1 point

Check your points totals - I just got credited for a whole load of missing bonus offers going back as far as August. Maybe they found a locked queue somewhere and made it flow through the system? Not complaining ... Oh, and I met all the Platinum VIP criteria (transactions never an issue, $ spent is difficult for me with all my (almost) free purchases), just waiting for the official recognition now.1 point

The second version has a steeper angle and the stand plattform is more narrow. Both LDD files are provided under the YouTube Video. Download, open the file in LDD und let the programm create the Instructions. As I know there is no PDF version for version 2 so far.1 point

Not without paying an arm and a leg. Got it down to two sellers, one state side and one intl. Word to the wise, you can color swap with minimal effect, I wanted black to match other ucs sets but gave in as grey was more readily available.1 point

I come to you with a story of sorrow and elation. I was saving up for what was supposed to be my most epic 14-day Sweeps points total ever. $48.69 in points, all from Sweeps. $4.77 expiring today. Pushed for one more $1 bonus Sweep at 8pm EST, didn't get it. Noticed that the points total in the Win It! App had suddenly dropped to $43.92. Panic. Ran upstairs to the computer on which I had a shopping cart with $10 off $50 coupon standing ready. Still showed $48.69. Raced through the check-out screens. Lo-and-behold, I managed to check out and now have $0.00 in points and paid $1.39 for a $59.99 MSRP set (Christmas gift for my daughter). KMart Order confirmation screen surprisingly showed 3 coupons (hasn't done that for me in months). One of them a $3 off $30 coupon which I thought was useful. Clicked on the "Print" button which gave me an empty 2 page document. When I returned to the page it, I was greeted with a "this page has expired" screen. A reload resulted in a screen without coupons. No coupons attached to the emailed order confirmation. Sadness ...... Main lesson for all of you: Don't push your expiring points to the last minute on the day they expire. SYW giveth and SYW taketh.1 point
