1. New for £300! One of the seals has loosened off, and the box has sagged, but I'm very pleased with this.
2. Just bought Insult on Hoth (75098). Feel a bit dirty, but they came up on eBay, with some box damage, for £139.99. Still a couple there actually, as of posting this. That was always the price at which I said to myself that I'd go for it. Puts it more in line with the standard non-UCS sets that this thing really is.
3. Anyone sees extra 10% in credit on their Amazon store card on some items via Amazon mobile ?
4. The only stuff you should load up on now is what won’t be around for the holiday season, or thereafter.
5. Marathon 3 day build to complete the Falcon! Total build time was around 20 hours and was actually a really straight forward build, nothing too complicated just lots of parts to look through for each set of bags. Really stoked - the ship looks amazing!
6. You're able to judge the character of a person by the font they choose to write their emails in? Do you realize the power you wield?! Was it comic sans by chance? I hear people who use that font are jerks.
7. When I get these types of "I buy all your LEGO" messages, I find them impossible to do business with because they want absurdly low prices. I'd be interested to know what you sold and for how much and if you made any profit.
8. Wow, what a rough road this set has had. I think it might have finally made it out of its hump. Its been picking up steam after dropping in price every other month. No new Jabba sets in sight so maybe *crossed fingers* the long hold might pay out. On a side note the Rancor Pit has been doing well

Woah Kylo looks like Todd from wedding crashers
10. Yes that’s the Canadian ad. The US one has a BB-8 Build in week 4 and runs from Sunday to Saturday, starting on Oct 1.
11. I looked yesterday after you posted the UCS Batcave screenshot, but I didn't see it then, and I still don't see it. Maybe it's a business account promo.

No clue who it is.

Do you know if they are still giving them out to the lottery winners Saturday and Sunday or was it just a Thursday Friday thing? 98 / 89 never was good with set numbers as long as mine will be worth $250 by Xmas I'm fine so is 89 possibly Boba Han in a target box or no clue who the builds are?
14. Nice. all of the Scooby Doo sets are decent for fans.

Just some info I had. A Target exclusive.
16. You can get it at LEGO Shop at Home for $199.99 With 2 freebies and 5% points back.
17. Just finished up bags 8. This thing is a beast!

I was able to score a Boba/Han for $102 after using my eBay bucks. Not terrible! Now is a good time to watch new listings for sets in the $140-$150 range. People just trying to unload quickly.
19. Make friends with a mommy blogger with a few hundred thousand followers and feed her sets you want to see spike in price. (Pm me the sets you’re sending ahead of time so I can stock up). Bonus points if you can get said blogger to post a link to the amazon listing.
20. Na there's no way they would be stupid enough to do that...
21. No. They don't even scan them, they just hand it out if you buy $75 or more before tax. There isn't a price on them. There are some decent prices... the half price city sets are good (the volcano one anyway) and krennics shuttle is 30% off again aswell as the village. Batman movie sets are 20% off as well... i don't think I've seen the Ultimate Batmobile 20% off yet, so I picked that up and a half price city to get the promos twice.

Yes! My daughter will be excited to get some SW Brickheadz.

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet but I was just checking through the exclusives on the us lego site and have seen 2 new brickheadz Fin - 41485- number 19 in series Captain Phasma - 41486 - number 20 in series Fills out a few gaps shown in an above post. Released on nov 1st to you guys.
24. Fruitcakes are definitely running rampant on Craigslist. This listing popped up for $2,040 the other day; I don't usually troll people, but I had to find out what was going on here. The sets I was seeing definitely didn't add up to over $2,000 worth of Lego. Me, via email: Are there other sets not shown in the pictures? Just curious since you’re asking over $2k. Them: Yes there is a modern house (it's actually a very dusty 31012 Creator Family House) which I am including in pictures with this email.. I am more than willing to break down these Legos into smaller sets and sell them as such. For example, somebody might be interested only in all of the Lego city vehicles and nothing else. We could work something out for specific sets. I was not expecting someone to purchase all of them per se but if someone is interested in purchasing all of the sets here, that would be great.. If you have any further questions please ask and keep in mind that you can get in contact with me much quicker by calling or texting my phone (redacted). Thank you. Me: Thanks for the follow up. So just to confirm, the asking price is $2,040 for everything shown in the pictures, plus the house you sent me the picture of? I'll let you guys know how this turns out. I'll stay nice, I promise.

Dang wish it could be used in store!
26. A Valued Customer TM purchased an Angry Birds Pirate Piggy Ship for $45 shipped. I even made a bit of profit.

29. Fine, UK RRP for Jan 2018 and UK bricklink GBP data set 3 month sold average in months 11,12 and 13 after final SAH availability date as markers.
30. I´ll bet you a 10 USD donation to the 2020 Brickpicker charity event that DB 3.0 won´t be trading above RRP within a year of selling out at SAH. Saturn V will depend on how long it is available for. 1.5 years or more and we can forget decent returns. The early adopters have already got theirs and the price is trending down even though it is OOS. Why it was ever limit 5 is a mystery. This should at least make it slightly harder to hoard.
31. Wow glad I stumbled across this thread. I was contacted by this buyer about 2 weeks ago. Left his e-mail address and phone number, so I kept in contact with him through e-mail after that so eBay would have no trace of the convo. He asked me to list sets o would be willing to get rid of, so I did, and he made me an offer. I denied it, made him and counter offer and he denied it, he then made me a counter offer on that and I accepted. I can say with confidence it is not a scam, he was very picky about which sets he wanted, and was pretty petty when haggling the price. I went ahead with it. I got paid over a week ago. He got his delivery, I got my credit card paid off. Nice and easy. I find it hilarious I'm the only one who did business with this guy lol.
32. I'm not sure pirate ships/ships in general ever fly under the radar, i mean one of the seemingly universal rules of Lego investing is that pirate ships and the like "usually" do well. However times are changing, so who knows.
33. I was contacted by this person about 6 weeks. Mira was their name. I spent about 3 hours going through my entire collection to find 'perfect' condition boxed sets. I was able to compose a list, which I then forwarded to the potential buyer via email. They really only seamed concerned about the price. I tried too get them to make an offer, either for individual sets or the entire lot, but they wouldn't. They insisted I quote prices. So, I spent another 3 hours concocting prices which I would be satisfied with. When I sent them back the list of prices their response was short and curt. "Your prices are way higher than we usually pay." I told them it's more important to me that I make my money back than to move product. That I'm a collector first and only a small time reseller trying to support a hobby. They just didn't like that all my prices were slightly over retale. Anyways, they sent me back one more reply stating that they are always willing to buy sets that meet their criteria. And that ended that. Normally I wouldn't have given this person the time of day. But, my family is financially being squeezed by our recent move across the country and the fact I'm still searching for work. So, I tried to push a transaction through, but they refused my prices. This was my experience.
34. Little follow-up: The packages from amazon arrived today Three fullsized Walkers in pristine condition in very nice boxes as well. Got lucky this time
35. Sell all of them and start over !
36. My mantra has always been one to build & one to keep. I have three of the MF17. One to build, one to sell soon, and one to hold on to. I'm not really in it for a maximum profit flip. I just like collecting. To be perfectly honest, I've never sold a set even though I have told my wife that was the intent And it truly has been, but I haven't done it yet lol!
37. The larger model was featured on here a few weeks ago:

39. Got a great deal, from a former Lego Employee..... Paid 110 for it... local deal... box and manuals are in great shape
40. Had it in the front seat but the seatbelt bell kept going off...
41. Don't know what happened at Amazon Italy yesterday but I was quick enough to react. One of them shipped today, so I guess the order will be fullfilled. Now only to wait and see what's actually in the box
42. Just got 10217 Diagon Alley, and 4842 Hogwarts, used and (hopefully) complete for £215 delivered. I get to build a couple of great sets and double my money afterwards!
43. All - if you are reading this, I worked out a deal with clintonjoseph about a month ago on a few sets. He was very reasonable and the transaction was very smooth. He threw in a bonus with the package and I'd like to believe this Savers deal was karma returning the favor back to him. This kind of deal couldn't happen to a better guy. Congrats! I'm so happy for you!
44. Wow. This might be one of the craziest deals I ever found. I just left Savers (a goodwill type store). Found a big bag of Legos marked $9.99. I had a 30% off coupon, so I paid $7. I wasn't sure what was in the bag, but it was big enough to be worth it to me. Looked like a lot of white and blue so I was assuming some kind of city police stuff. Didn't see any minifigures so I was a little disappointed, but I saw a some numbered bags so that's cool. I got in the truck and open it up. Start pulling out all sealed bags. Lots of white and blue. Oh look, an instruction manual. Woah. It's a freaking UCS R2D2! All bags present and sealed. Instructions never opened.
45. Picked up a 310 Esso Station recently and got round to building it. It's in really nice condition for it's age, probably around 55 years old.
46. 75106 Imperial Poop Carrier 70% off. A few years ago I would have bitten hands off to get that deal.
47. My CL hot streak came to an end, someone beat me to this one.
