Bought and rebuilt a Queen Anne's Revenge (4195) with the thought to flip it. This is my first ship from Pirates. But now that I've built it I don't want to part ways with it. Such an awesome ship! [emoji21] In fact now I want the Pearl.... ugh lol9 points

I haven't had time to crack open a new set for a month or so. Tonight Mags asked to build the Duplo train (10810) I picked up on Walmart clearance. Not quite a UCS set or a modular, but we had fun and BB8 rode in style!9 points

Confirmed. DS fits in that bag. If you look closely you can see it fits. I used photoshop to confirm it's a DS in the bag. If you turn the photo upside down you can see it reads OGEL. What the hell is ogel? New lego Gel confirmed as well. Holds all day.4 points

You'll be able to tell who the resellers are ... Buying to build? Pull that box with pride. Buying to sell? Carry that thing out to your car like it's a newborn.3 points

I wonder if there will be doctors and nurses present at Lego stores to assist with people trading in their unneeded kidneys and other various organs to pay for the falcon.3 points

We started to build all our random bad investments as we're in a suburb of Houston and stuck inside for at least the next 7 days of flooding:( we and neighbors are all safe at least. I wanted to go help out but can't drive even a mile to get to where help is needed. I guess it's good I had sets that stunk for investment so I do not feel bad opening them3 points

I also fully expect to see technic mocs of the box using motors etc.2 points

comes with wheels so you can personally drive your new milf out of the store. Not only that, You can race them with your friends now, like real race, not just swooshing around.2 points

It is a oversized item so it will not ship with smaller items. If you have any other large sets you can send them in with it.2 points

Shipped large sets to where, buyers or Amazon? If you are selling one at at a time, great, use 24x16x4. If you are selling 2 at a time use 24x16x8 and put a piece of cardboard in between the 2 sets. I'd just wrap them in loose kraft paper.2 points

I bet once it's retired, the shipping box and wheels especially are gonna have some decent value to them. $50 for the set of wheels or so ?2 points

In that one catalogue that leaked, it showed 5 sets coming for the Han Solo movie. There's also 4 more sets coming for the Last Jedi on 1/1/2018 for the winter wave. I also read where "Solo Friday" or whatever they are calling it is on 4/20. So, after this winter wave, that's the next thing to look forward to until the Summer 2018 waves, which I assume will have the traditional 5 or 6 sets that will probably book end both the Han Solo and Last Jedi films. I'm going to assume we won't see many more Force Awakens or Rogue One sets...although it would be nice to at least get a Saw Gerrera mini to finish off Rogue One. It's also disappointing we didn't get anything related to Darth Vaders slaughtering of Fleet Troopers as they escaped on the Tantive IV (in fact, I'm shocked the Tantive IV wasn't in the Rogue One waves). That would have made for a great set highlighting the best scene in the movie.2 points

One day, I predict all LEGO bricks will be studless. They are too politically incorrect.2 points

I prefer the LEGO one (if it's legit) over the marshal one. I also like that they aren't hiding all of the LEGO studs. We've had more than enough "stud-shaming" - You're LEGO, be proud of your studs!2 points

The large ships are: Black Seas Barracuda Skull's Eye Schooner Queen Anne's Revenge Black Pearl Imperial Flagship Silent Mary Sea Cow Then there's a bunch of medium and small ships from the recent Brick Bounty to old ones like the Imperial Armada and Renegade Runner and there are a couple of crossover ships (Durmstrang and Pirate Ship Ambush)2 points

Ships are bad ass. The prized one of them all is the Imperial Flagship [emoji12]2 points

Lol. That was me a couple years ago. QAR was my first LEGO ship. Built it thinking I'd sell it off. Now it's a prized possession. I've got a Black Pearl in a bulk box waiting for me to get to someday. And now I've got 4 or 5 ships sitting in the storage area waiting for me to build - Sea Cow, last Pirates ship, Silent Mary - to name a few.2 points

Yes....to some degree, we (my son and I) like to collect most of a theme. However, last year, we decided to become more selective and at this point we analyze a wave and in some cases just buy the minis (don't plan on buying the rathtar set for example, or the quadjumper). But for the most part we have almost every Star Wars movie set since 2011. I decided to skip buying clone wars and rebels sets since we have to draw the line somewhere. This is just some of our minifigures from those sets that we put together for a "prequel" display. I'm currently working on the OT display..2 points

I look occasionally on CL as well to see if there are any deals or opportunities to resell. I don't usually have any luck but this time I got lucky and scored. If these were any other of the lower selling packs I wouldn't have bought them. You can't go wrong with BTTF and JW. These two were great sellers for me. 8k is awesome! I bet you are very happy with the profit that you've made. I'm sure I have a least cleared 1k in profit since February but I need to calculate everything. I'm completely sold out of packs besides these 24 I just purchased. The gold rush on these packs were a great time and I enjoyed every minute of buying and selling these. I'm sure this was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and I'm glad that I was able to take part of it.1 point
