I haven't tried to check out, but right now LEGO LEGO Shop at Home is showing the Travel Suitcase free with any purchase (shows up with a 3.99 CMF), which stacks with the free Build to Learn pack at $35. A few minutes ago it stacked with the free Iconic Cave at $50, but now it is showing that the Build to Learn and the Iconic Cave stack at $50. Not the hottest promos, and certainly doesn't compare to the stacking Bank / Snowglobe of a few weeks ago, but two Promos is always nice.3 points

My son was exposed to another money pit at Star Wars Celebration. I spent half the day yesterday figuring out how to play.3 points

I got my $50 box of awesomeness tonight. I have lots of pieces that looks to be a train station. Lots of other pieces not pictured. I love the crane. 2 full sets of working PF Functions, IR, and remotes.3 points

Is it safe to say that this officially brings the Golden Age of Lego investing and reselling to a close? Between the remakes and all the counterfeits of large sets and the over saturation of resellers you could argue the golden age may have waned a few years ago. However 10179 exemplified the possibilities of reselling and investing and now that it's poised to be replaced with a bigger , better , newer version it would seem the star is coming back down to earth. Oct 1, a new age dawns. I'm excited for this set but at the same time sad to see our star finally burn out .3 points

I don't have to ask for permission, but my wife doesn't either. That's a whole other issue... [emoji856][emoji857][emoji24]3 points

modified spidey bridge to fit trains. I don't have much room for a straight incline ( 4 ft on both sides) so lots of work ahead.3 points

I agree. I've never had any issues with it, and I don't have to worry about knowing export rules or international shipping rates. I've heard that others have had some problems, but it's been fine for me.2 points

You really are flying hi then. AT-TE would be a good buy at $90-$100. $30 is killer, $67 is totally worth it.2 points

Not sure if this has been posted before, but i found this MOC to be very interesting:2 points

I think you´ll be glad in a few weeks you didn´t drop 700 on it. Shows there is still hope for sellers, though.2 points

@fuzzy_bricks checkout the Jang video above that @Val-E posted. That is what I am talking about it doesn't blend in well with the other modulars IMO and it is not a classic Ninjago set. I still plan on trying it with MS on one side since it has the open market area that the water may blend in with and can even add a few trans light blue 1x2s, and GBHQ on the other side for the height. Also I want to see how it is in the movie as I most likely will go that way I can not get to those sets at this time because the table they are on is blocked in by hundreds of lego sets I will probably never sell2 points

Agreed, the boxes for this set have already been printed and with no image leaks seems like they are keeping tighter control. Perhaps this set is only being produced at plant S and/or O. I am sure if it was being produced at R then @boliramirez would at least have a set of MINIFIGURES by now and possibly some images. And if was being produced at the new china plant then pre-sale would be available from the counterfeiters.2 points

Guys, what if this has all been one big diversion campaign, there is no new falcon, and 75192 is actually a toddler-scale pod racer. So bogus bricks will be just as flabbergasted as us when LEGO shocks the world with the real set. We've been smeckledorfed.2 points

70% through Ninjago City what a great build, possibly my favorite of all time. Taking my time, 3 nights so far and catching up on some old movies while building.2 points

I built the Yoda Jedi Starfighter and Darth Vader's transformation the other day and today my daughter built the Ninjago movie Green Dragon. For her birthday she got a variety of LEGO and that was the one she most wanted to build.2 points

Oh the joys of being a recently divorced guy with no kids. I don't have to explain or ask permission for jack squat. I can throw money down for this and be proud of it and not have to worry about a nagging wife hahaha. In your face!!!!!! haha jk guys.2 points

Came back from a few days hols with no Lego brought. 4yr old was itching to build with me so I pulled out a 2nd hand 5867 creator speeder no one wants to buy off me and modified it for left hand drive2 points

That's a free steak dinner buy. My ToysRUs would say, "Thanks for finding this, we can't sell it to you." It would then disappear.2 points

These were available at Target for $50-55 for what seemed like forever. I remember texting a Brickpicker friend "think we'll regret not loading up on these at this price?" I grabbed a few, should have bought a terry dozen.2 points

slew of crap on FBA, mostly last years elf sets, some ninjago and city.... but.....proving again that the CMF market is dead, but at least got rid of one Mr. Incredible $3.50 on BL in a batch of 10-15 disney CMF, from $3.50-$6.001 point

I like all of the non human buildables, I have built Vader and Ren so far but have all the others boxed and ready to build ( minus the stormtrooper and biker scout) once I create some display space. Most purchased at 50% plus lower than retail.1 point

Available to order Sept 1st Old Fishing Store, Sept 14th MF and possibly winter creator set for VIPs Maybe some type of MF unveiing and prereserve along with TLJ sets in store on 1st or 4th September.1 point

We are all assuming the other set is this year's winter village. Interesting to note that we haven't had a leak for either set yet. Makes you wonder...1 point

I'll worry once I watch it . If it is a rehash of episode 5 I'll be pissed . Then again, you would expect the FO to have the upper hand in this one on par with most trilogy series .1 point

Here is my one hope for this set: I hope all the hype over this set before and after it's release (and its presumed scarcity) overshadows some of the other newer sets like the Saturn V. That way, consumers will spend all their time thinking about the MF and shopping for it and won't spend time looking for other sets. That = $$$ for us! It would be cool if the MF was a well done model, but there is no way I'm dropping $700 on one.1 point

My experience is that once girls get through the 'this is geeky' subconscious barrier, they become more obsessed than me. A good friend of mine, an outgoing girl, asked for a Death Star for graduation. I feel the world is finally becoming a good place.1 point

Finally, after 14 months, I set foot in a KMart again. This one's a 40 mile drive, but since I had to go more than halfway for another errand I figured why not, and I placed a Sweeps winnings order for store pickup there (northern KY) My heart skipped a beat when I spotted a 41176 Dragon Sanctuary on clearance. But when I picked it up it made a weird sound, and it turned out to be taped up on one side. CS lady opened it up and sure enough, the set was half built and I didn't even bother checking if everything was there. Did walk away with two other finds: 75903 Scooby Doo Haunted Lighthouse: Marked $51 clearance, minus 20% off clearance -> $40.80. Then applied $9 sp on $35+, plus $24.20 in Sweeps winnings (and that was only after 1 week of sweeps), for $8.06 cash out the door after tax. 41174 Elves Starlight Inn: Marked $28 clearance, minus 20% off clearance -> $22.80. Added a small filler set to qualify for $5 back on $25 coupon, redeemed $2.13 in points (Sweeps points from just today) for $20.27 out the door after tax, with $5 back in points. Only suspicious thing was that the register refused to accept my Sears GC (which I had used just the day before online without issues). Anyone had that before? It scanned neither from the Raise barcode nor after typing in code+pin.1 point

Stumbled upon a Jurassic World Raptor Rampage 75917 at a local Toys R Us. It seemed out of place since the series has been off the shelves for months. Scanned the thing and it came up at $0.03. Shocking deal.1 point

It would be cool if the new set included all minifigs who rode in the MF onscreen. ROTJ Lando, ROTJ Numb, Farmboy Luke, nearly any Leia, nearly any young Han plus old, ANH Kenobi, R2, 3PO, Finn, Rey, BB-8, and Chewie. Heck, ESB Lando and Luke could even be used Come to think of it, I don't think Lego had made a Nien Numb mini dig yet.1 point

I've been asked to source a MISB 10179, so would appreciate a PM from any UK based Brickpicker that is looking to offload one at a sensible price. Please PM me if that is you. Thanks.1 point

The imperial officer has sideburns, that's kind of cool. But, I agree. Nothing in this set stands out. Putting a hat on BB-8 is the worst excuse for a holiday exclusive figure.1 point
