  1. this guy has been parking up the street from my work. Maybe he preordered a 75192 back in 2014.
  2. Too bad the link mentioned largest "STAR WARS" set. If it was all LEGO sets, it would have had to have been bigger than this...
  3. Opening Brickpicker CM4sci posting first Opening Twitter CM4sci post comment on top Opening Reddit CM4sci posting first Facebook probably the same as well as Eurobricks I assume. this is how I literally picture CM4sci seconds after another teaser is being published.
  4. Only to be surpassed by those who complain they didn´t have enough time to sell their 10179´s.
  5. Next reveal will be David Beckham building it.
  6. CM4SCi posted pics of the "new" DS and people still refused to believe him ... I'm excluding such folks from my rational .. lol .
  7. It's done. No shirt required. ?

Picked up 4x Batman Clayface from ASDA @ £7.50
  9. love this comment from FB comments. "Nice... the Death Star Debris set. "
  10. LEGO Chima BOX - The Largest set which was a Prize for competition which was won by 2 lucky lego enthusiasts. They know how to screw someone's life.
  11. Lol'ing at the title change. I swear to God these guys operate like it's still 1975 sometimes.
  12. I think we were all in disbelief that Lego would be so lazy to just add a few cheese slopes and re-release the set.
  13. And when he says other people he means himself really

  15. Only place where CM4Sci for sure won't have first post is Eurobricks .... *wink*
  16. mine has a different date on it...
  17. Intern Bjorn on the ol twitter account has just been 'reassigned'.
  18. Can't wait to hear the bitching & moaning about how expensive it is.
  19. Um, on the brickset forums, and even eurobricks, it's amazing how many people are in denial about it being the MF.... Also, I'm totally shaking my first at Lego for these damn teasers...I'm dying of anticipation.
  20. I don't think anyone doesn't think it is a MF since 2016
  21. Yesterday I built 9492 TIE FIghter. I actually wasn't super impressed.I've built several versions of TIEs in the past few years and this is my least favorite. It reminds me too much of the older TIES from 99-05. I really much preferred the construction of the FIrst Order TIE. I also built 75172 Y-Wing today. I liked it. The only other Y-Wing that I ever built was the original one from the Y-Wing and TIE Fighter set. This one is leaps and bounds better than that. Although I did wonder (yet again) about the obsession that LEGO has with building a tiny useless cargo hauler for these types of ships.
  22. It should be a hardcover for $800!
  23. Are we so quick to forget everyone's favorite investment winner : EXOSUIT
  24. The sound everyone will think of when the $800 price is announced:
  25. 3rd prize was the Chima box plus the full Nexo range.
  26. I want the biggest box...ever!
  27. oh that looks fun, were a lot of those type floats at Hilton Orlando during the con. Heck was stormtrooper party in the pool too
  28. The funniest part of this entire thread is that it was started in February of 2014.
  29. big oops. Sorry LEGO. You've been documented by thousands of social media feeds.
  30. Word hit SD pretty quickly, but I still think it was a smaller quantity this time. Last time Lego CS said it was around 4,000 units.
  31. Poor Becks... Seems it took him a week to build it. Mind you he most probably spent half the time looking for bricks that fell off the sun lounger..
  32. There are plenty of skeptics still out there, amazingly. And today's release, while further confirming what we already knew, is a let down compared to past weeks.
  33. People have no clue. Accidentally sold a FBM listing (trying to do all FBA), and customer cancelled BC shipping was too high. Shipping was $4.99 and it would actually cost $12-$15 depending on where she lives. I'll keep on the inflated FBA prices with "free" shipping
  34. Hahaha! I thought as much. Well, as long as the crowds keep their prices up it will be fine. Look at the NES classic. Thousands of listings and the prices were still very high. Hoping for the best!

Not sure. It's still there through the link in my inventory list, but I'm not finding it through an Amazon search. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0033PSLUK
  36. Well that sucked. Had $50 in points and $50 gift card, tried to buy the Lego 75191 Jedi Starfighter exclusive, got error only at final checkout, now it says my rewards certificate is used and my gift card has $0 balance, but no order in my history. After 30 minutes on phone I have a reference number and they said give them 3-5 business days for a callback. I thought I was getting a $100 set for free, but I got nothin' but a headache.

Moved to a new house over the weekend. Contemplated disassembling 10030 but decided to move it built. Thankfully, it survived the trip. The only pieces that came off were a couple feet on the stands. I added additional inner frame brackets during my build years ago so that helped with stability.
  38. Finished Ninjago City going to try and add 70612 green dragon to it tonight.
  39. The cheap skate must have got in on the Disney Store sale.
  40. That's the last two creator sets that they've used for comparison purposes. If the next one is the Assembley sq (working back to the next set that was released) then who knows, it may not be a huge modular! that would be hilarious!
  41. It all started with one of our fish having babies. We separated them in a breeding tank for a couple of days. But that was not enough....my wife and sons teamed up on me and begged for a bigger tank. Next thing I knew...we had decided to not only get a bigger tank, but also decided exactly how we wanted to decorate it. We love our Lego displays, and this was just another creative way to add to the collection. What the hell...right?!! Great build! Very fragile! Great display piece!

Hello, 35-y/o non-spammer, non-jerk, non-bot from the beautiful Pacific NW here. Lego was an important part of my childhood. Now I have two kids, and the older one of them is just really getting into Lego. I was considering just buying an extra box of whatever he gets for birthdays, Christmas, etc., but that's probably a terrible investment strategy, so I signed up here.
