Does your box mean we are getting a new OT star destroyer like the DS for the falcon.7 points

For those still looking to buy this set, no worries. It will be available soon enough w/o sell-out worries. For example, Exo-suit, UCS Tumbler, Research Institute, Scooby Doo Mystery Machines, Cinderella's Castle. The flip profile margin is drying up.6 points

4/20 is a great date for anything to do with the Han Solo movie... as you'd have to be high to mistake Alden Ehrenreich for Harrison Ford5 points

Last night I finished building the 31070 Turbo Track Racer (Creator 3-in-1). The A-model to be precise, after having built the C-model and B-model respectively first. I have to say: this is a really nice 3-in-1 set! Interesting building techniques used on all three models which all look good in their own ways. But the best and most attractive model is of course the A-model: the Turbo Track Racer. It's only slightly smaller in scale than the Creator Expert Ferrari F40 but fits just fine in the range of large LEGO Creator cars. If you like large LEGO Cars and can get this set at a good discount it's highly recommended!5 points

I finally put together a Detention Block escape that I pieced together from my inventory. Only had to substitute a few parts.5 points

Well - double check, but you probably didn't get *all* your money back. No matter what, once an A-to-Z judgment goes against you Amazon will never refund the full amount back. They keep at least $5 and they do something screwy with the commissions so it doesn't work out to getting back everything you had before the A-to-Z claim. I have had 100% success (so far) in reversing fraudulent A-to-Z claims that Amazon granted at my expense when I've spoken to seller support on the phone. Do whatever it takes to speak to an actual person. When you have them on the phone, being recorded, they are much less willing to violate their commitments to sellers. Also seller support is much more sympathetic than the A-to-Z team which I'm pretty sure is an algorithm, not actual people.4 points

Over the past few days I have had a lot of luck buying on CL. After losing out on one Black Pearl, I found another used one for $130 that is complete with all of the minifigures (no instructions), for investment. The Joshamee Gibbs minifigure is missing his hair, another victim of male pattern baldness no doubt. I will get new hair for him. Last night I got a used 75055 Imperial Star Destroyer complete with all the minfigures and instructions for $55. I have always wanted this one for my personal collection! The Darth Vader minifigure has one white arm with a black hand for some reason. The pieces came separated into numbered bags according to the instructions. The emperor hologram is definitely in bag 3! In both cases the mother and her son were both very happy with the money they got. It was a win, win scenario for everybody. I will admit that I am envious of the awesome finds that many members post here, and now I get to post two of my own.4 points

You've never shared any other leaked photos or information about upcoming sets? Besides, your photo shop doesn't need to be so good it fools people at LEGO, it only needs to be good enough to fool all the morons on the internet (of which there are plenty) that will bombard LEGO and their employees with questions. I mean this respectfully, but it'd be a cold day in hell that I'd produce one of your IDEAS submissions if I was in charge at LEGO. Plus, they are a private company, they can do whatever they want with your account on the IDEAS website. (As someone who has done website stuff .. in fact setting up some test vms on azure right now for work .. security is a sensitive topic. Just because they don't properly secure their image folders doesn't mean they appreciate people scraping them.)3 points

I know some of you have been thinking about the launch tower for the Saturn V. Here it is on the Lego Ideas site. One of the same designers created it. You can't complain about a repetitious build when it this cool. https://ideas.lego.com/projects/a88109ec-9970-4fe1-98b4-9bd535856ab43 points

You may have the best CL sellers in America. Jealous of the deals you've gotten on complete sets.2 points

So for the sake of clarity, I may be overly blunt with my words but I'm not actually saying you did anything truly awful. If I use the word Steal or Crime here I don't actually care if it's a Crime, I'm just using it to differentiate from your "prank" and your "crime". Please correct me if I'm wrong in my reading, but it sounds like you did 2 things. 1) A fun Photoshop Prank of the Falcon, and 2) You stole their IP and distributed it without their permission re: the London bus Then they banned you for the Crime, told you it was for the crime you admit you did, but you think that's actually validation that your unrelated prank was real only because they couldn't have had enough time to realize they were punishing you for the crime you did and they correctly identified you as doing?2 points

Finally got together the missing parts for my UCS General Grievous 10186 that I bought used a while back for $90, so I built it over the weekend. My primary observations are that 1- it is huge compared to what I expected and 2- it seems unstable compared to most of the other sets I have built. I could definitely see my son demolishing this things in no time. I usually build these with the kids, but they were out in Yellowstone camping so I took the opportunity to build this one while they were away since several of you guys had mentioned it is a more fragile build than most...good call! Look how big it is next to some of the other relatively large sets!2 points

After a pretty quiet period on the CL/Letgo/OfferUp front the last couple months, I've had an uptick in the last couple weeks. My first couple local sales in months and a bunch of "you're dumb for not selling stuff at a loss to me so I can profit of it" contact. Three people have offered me $100 for a Saturn V. One guy came up to like $175, but wouldn't go to $200, bc he could get it at Amazon "with returns". But you can't have it in hand today with the ability to inspect the box from Amazon. A guy today who offered me $200 for a Helicarrier wouldn't agree to $320 after coming up to $300, because it's the same price at Amazon with free shipping, except that it's $350 plus $25 tax in Florida. I refuse to be the guy who puts the ranting "no lowballers" footer on my posts, but man I just want to put "I'm not stupid, I know what these are worth, consider that before offers" but I'm sure it would just turn away the non-resellers who actually buy stuff.1 point

Built the min R2 to go with Leia. Two great little builds. Will now MOC up the corridor to recreate the scene in the Tantive IV.1 point

Being in different time zones, including time of the post without location/time zone is pointless. It's 13:36 military time here. Lol1 point

Well, Kenxxx, your encouragement saved me. Even though I lost the appeal, and could not see any way to appeal again, after I read your post, I opened a case yet again, stated the facts again, and just now got this reply: "We see that your account was debited for the claim on order 111-7018795-1985832 in error." The money they took is back in my account. The whole experience was maddening, but at least I got the money back. Thanks for encouraging me to keep trying!1 point

The internet is filled with people pretending to have secret information. That list was predicted a year ago. Do you want to know the secret of predicting which sets will retire on time and on schedule? Read our forums...If there is a thread for a set, it will probably retire later than sooner. LOL.1 point

So, I finally decided to crack open the set after being able to find time. However, I had to call in some additional help. "Okay, team. Grab that thing-a-ma-brick and we'll attach it to here..." "Okay, Captain. I'm going to give you this injection for space sickness. So hold still. This won't hurt...much.." "Uh...doctor, are you sure...." "Shhhhh."1 point

If you have any Harry Potter, keep them until your kid turns six. Read him/her the first three books, then shower them with HP LEGO: achieve Legendary Dad Status.1 point

Again I have to ask. Other than more Lego sets, do we really need a Han Solo movie considering H.Ford isn't in it? Are we just suppose to forget how differently the two Hans look in just 10 (or so years ) apart in the timeline? I would have rather watched a movie set in-between ROTS and Rogue One with Vader. Maybe even sprinkle in a little Yoda on Dagobah and Kenobi on Tatooine. No no, the suits decided that would be a comic.1 point

Here are probably potential top secret Blueprints of the upcoming UCS Millennium Falcon. We can see there will be 12 bags, most of he parts remain the same as per se original Millenium Falcon from 2007.1 point

I built the UCS B-Wing 10227 over the weekend as the kids and I continue to work our way through our Star Wars want list whenever we have enough profits from Legos sales to finance our next buy. I enjoyed the build as it had some different pieces that I have never used before...plus I am always a sucker for a large OT set. I haven't built the 75050 B-Wing for comparison, but have been busy selling them to pay for sets like these ?. (Sorry for the low quality pics...we had bad lighting and just snapped them quickly.) Next up for us will be the Tantive IV 10198, which we are excited to finally build.1 point
