I decided to crack open an Ewok Village to build with my 5-year-old daughter. My OCD wife has offered to sort the pieces for us.

Here are probably potential top secret Blueprints of the upcoming UCS Millennium Falcon. We can see there will be 12 bags, most of he parts remain the same as per se original Millenium Falcon from 2007.

My 7 year-old son got the Creator Lighthouse 31051 for his birthday. Of course I had to 'help him' build it. Maybe for his 8th, I can get him an Expert set.

My wife offered to get up with our son overnight, so I stayed up late to finish Slave I. I usually get to steal an hour a few nights a week after bedtime to build, so it took about three weeks. This afternoon my daughter and I are going to break out her Duplo rocket and Saturn V! PS I finally got some shelves!

Most people here are not amateurs, they'll need full set lists to take you seriously, if you want to move in bulk. Provide a full list and a price and you'll move more quickly. List like this, and you'll hear mostly from people trying to pick the lowest hanging fruit for the lowest possible price. It'll take a while. The more sophisticated your listing, the more sophisticated offers you'll get.

I didn't want my 10179 buyer to have a terrible time hunting for bricks during his build. Thus I created a MS Paint app inspired drawing. It tells what sections of the ship are in what bag. While helpful, my 7 year old said he can do better note; the tear down took 1 hour (did it carefully) which is a tiny fraction of the length it took to build and filled 12 UPS envelopes. each bag was 1/4 to 1/3 filled. The 2 masts were sandwiched between 2 pieces of hard poster-board.

It's really nice here. The crazy part is that I took this photo at 11pm and the sun is still out. The sun was also back up again at like 3:30am. It is 4:45 am now and I am wide awake. I was going to ask the pilot if we could stop real quick at LEGO HQ, and get some details on the new Falcon

It's funny that anyone thinks TLG would be releasing sets that they aren't making sufficient margins on. I'd go the other way and say that sets like this show you how much they overcharge for most everything else.

You input your SSN on the keypad. You don't give it to the cashier. Not saying that it's more secure, just that the cashier doesn't see it. I come from a place where my SSN was my student ID and I'm a federal employee that was part of the data breach a couple years ago. They've got my number.

Sold my last single 99c store Portal 2 dimensions set last night and just about out of dimensions altogether. Portal 2 buy in was an average of £4.34 per unit, shipped and taxed into the UK, sold most of them at £17 each. Had 225. I imported just under 400 dimensions all in, SD, JW, Homers and a few fun packs. Portal 2 was the real winner in both volume and pricing. I really should have gone in harder and my gut at the time said go in for more, but the risk at the time was 2 weeks to get them shipped from sunny Texas and 2 weeks to understand pricing and volume. So I held back. But still my eyes are wide open to the volume game now. Thanks to whomever it was who first posted about them.

Also sold a Savoye yesterday for € 115. Buy-in was € 56.
