It's really nice here. The crazy part is that I took this photo at 11pm and the sun is still out. The sun was also back up again at like 3:30am. It is 4:45 am now and I am wide awake. I was going to ask the pilot if we could stop real quick at LEGO HQ, and get some details on the new Falcon8 points

Recently I got back from a duty in Nigeria and bought some retired sets for myself (thanks to the allowance). One of these sets is set 10027 "Train Engine Shed". After I received the set I dismantled it, washed the bricks and base plates and started building. During the building I found several parts were used which are not original and some parts were missing. Still need to order those. Nevertheless I am very very happy with this set. A great appearance and it looks great on display. One day I will use it for my future City. Luckily I found out the Emerald Night (another set I bought after my duty) cannot pass it due to the width. A major crash has been avoided . Cheers!6 points

What's the problem? My telephone cord reaches the computer just fine. So, I can talk on the phone at the same time.4 points

May ended up being a very slow month on BL, though I had a few large orders that made the month overall very profitable. I blame all the clearance for the slow down. This month, I've already matched sales. Even though I raised my minimum order to $15. Common theme, kids stuff. Here's some things to take note of: 70787 Tahu $20 41055 Cindy castle $70 70784 Lewa $13 75110 skywalker $15 41116 explor car $14 21117 ender dragon $ 65 (really wasn't expecting this. I passed so many at 50% off.) 75109 obi wan $16 21124 end portal $55 75916 Dil Am $40 41015 dolphin $75 10721 iM v Loki $12 10542 sleeping beauty $37 75134 GE BP $15 Cpt hook $6 Tartan BM $7.50 70366 BS Lance $94 points

I've seen a lot of people go for Ikea Ribba framed for minifigure display. I did mine with a large grey baseplate and I fit 48 collectible minifigs nicely. I've seen people also build out the display shelves as well and you can end up fitting lots more. Now if only I can find the 2 missing figs from series 15. I know they are around somewhere.2 points

Cool GMA clip with a tour of Carrie's house and stuff in her upcoming auction. Watch "Bright Lights" with her and Debbie Reynolds, good stuff. http://www.jedinews.co.uk/conventions-events/articles/good-morning-america-look-carrie-fishers-home-auction/2 points

Nope. It's a narrative. It was even discussed on Rebel Force Radio last week. I can't believe a comic would try to alter film canon. Oh well... maybe the last issue will be Vader is the shower and shown to be just a dream (kinda like Dallas did when Bobby Ewing died). Oops, I forgot the spoiler tag for the Dallas show.2 points

Sold my last 75054 AT-AT last night for €210 cash. Exactly double my buy-in when I bought these just after I came out of my Lego Dark Ages late 2015. At that time I just couldn't fathom how people would some day be paying a large premium over a set that was available in every toy store selling LEGO sets, and regularly sold at good discount as well! Speaking from hindsight: I should have bought a lot more of this set!2 points

I must admit I love LEGO Shop at Home with their beautiful promos, lovely VIP points and stupidly great shipping policies. In the last few days I sold 3 buildable R2-D2s for €20 cash each and a London Bus/VW Mini Beetle for €45 cash. Love you LEGO Shop at Home2 points

I built the UCS B-Wing 10227 over the weekend as the kids and I continue to work our way through our Star Wars want list whenever we have enough profits from Legos sales to finance our next buy. I enjoyed the build as it had some different pieces that I have never used before...plus I am always a sucker for a large OT set. I haven't built the 75050 B-Wing for comparison, but have been busy selling them to pay for sets like these ?. (Sorry for the low quality pics...we had bad lighting and just snapped them quickly.) Next up for us will be the Tantive IV 10198, which we are excited to finally build.2 points

My TRU is already out. They do ring up individually for sale in the system...I don't think that ever varies. It's up to the store/cashier to enforce whether they allow that or not.1 point

I was told the same thing as @Martae54 yesterday. They would not ring up individually for sale and were not available to purchase until end of promotion. Everything was 20% off for TLBM though there were no signs. This is very common for my TRU that they will do absolutely nothing to help the customer. I've had on more than one occasion a set taken away from me because it was out before street date as well. I don't shop there anymore except for exclusive stuff like these.1 point

Hi all, Last weekend I visited a small Lego show in the South of The Netherlands: "Bricktopia". I made a lot of HD video's and some pictures. Unfortunately the pictures were taken with my Vintage Iphone so my apologies for the quality. I saw some great models and a very nice medieval scenery. There was a table where children could do some building, that gave me extra time to walk around . I hope you enjoy the pictures!:1 point

I had problems with certain company's paints. Hasbro red and orange bleached but other companies didn't have the same problem. I would suggest that anyone who is concerned, use a part you don't care about to test. I did not have any problems with the few parts I tried that had stickers. LEGO stickers seem to be quite robust.1 point

If you want to do a state identifier I would suggest showing the state name instead of the flag. I barely know our own flag let alone other states. I bet I could pick out less than 10.1 point

Sold about 20 Mars Rovers via Ebay auction last two months... Price was around 120 Euro after fees. But since the Saturn V has appeared the price is around 150 after fees. Now I have only 10 left, but will keep them until reaching 200 Euro...1 point

I use those fishing tackle boxes you can buy at walmart for 5.00... works like a charm and you can fit about 5 waves of 16 collectible minifigures in one..1 point

My first post here. I came out of the dark ages a about four months ago, in February. This set up has been up for about 2 months now. Kinda stole the wife's stand. I have the minifigures for all of the sets but did not want to put them up yet. I recently built the Parisian Restaurant and London Bridge. Brick bank is unbuilt and I believe the wife bought me the detective office for my upcoming birthday. I am messing around with some light bricks, a few wires and such can be seen sitting on top of the fire station. We are living in a condo so room is limits. Have an entire empty house though but it is 75 miles away, go figure. We rented the house out for 3 months and that really helped with the funding for this and the unpictured collection. I have been buying a lot of bulk lots in the hopes of building some fan designed buildings. I have some serious catching up to do with some of you all. I have seen some very nice setups on here and it makes me want to get mine in a better situation. I wish I hard started back sooner. I wanted to right as the modulars were coming out but was hit with too much college debt. I did get my feet a little wet right before that and got a few nice trains. You know what they say about hindsight.1 point

one of my best ebay message exchanges ever. we can't even make this stuff up. total fruitcake. happened 3 months ago. i was the buyer for a diagon alley set. - Sent by me at 7:47pm. "Hi. I just paid and did read your auction summary, A couple of missing pieces is fine. I take it that all minifigures are included? I also assume the lego retail box will mailed inside a shipping box for protection. Please let me know me know before mailing this set. Thanks," - seller's reply 11:34pm - "Dip those on some oil the shlt will get you faint" - my follow-up 12:24am- "What?" - seller's reply 6:07am - "I am so sorry for that message I was under the influence last night and I confused my eBay messages with my text messages. I would like to apologize for saying those words to you" - seller's reply 6:09am - "Yes it's all in the box and it will packaged as well" ha ha1 point
