  10. I went into my local closing Kmart today just to say goodbye (it's been wrapping up for over a month now, I think it's shutting down for good pretty soon) and was surprised to find they had put out more Lego. They went to 40% off on toys about two weeks ago, and pretty much everything except some of the small Friends and Disney Princess boxes disappeared within a couple of days, so I was shocked to see a bunch of Ninjago, Chima, City, and a smattering of Super Heroes on the shelves. I snagged a couple of Airjitzu Jays and a Scooby Doo Mummy Mystery set with points, then back at home I loaded up some coupons, printed out my remaining Kmart gift card and went back to see what else I could grab. It's been hit or miss with coupons applying at this closing store. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. Luck was on my side today, as I got this Darkseid Invasion set for $36.99 (it took off the $5/$20 toys) and then it hit me with the $5 back in points on $25. I guess the points rolling train will continue for me a few days longer at least.

  18. I was just looking at my inventory of these sets last week and I like these prices considering my buy-in. Starting to hit my target on most of them, though I will probably hold some for later in the year. That timeline is always subject to change with the next round of summer clearance.

  19. It's still available for Business customers. Just an FYI, once it switches to Business price you can order 2 more even if you ordered earlier when it was available to everyone.

  21. I sold the rest of my Dimension packs about two weeks ago. 171 total and they were a combination of Homer, Zane, Wizard of Oz, Gimli, Legolas, Cragger, Gollum, Emmett, and Bad Cop. Selling these packs lately has been super slow and most of these are the bottom of the barrel packs. I was able to sell them all to one guy via CL for $2 a pack. I made $342 total, $155.61 of profit. Glad I was able to get rid of these all at once......and so was my wife.

  29. Saw this set built in Lego shop today. No photo does justice to the size and scale of this set. It's absolutely amazing and I can't wait for my back order to turn up. On a separate note, Silent Mary looks much more impressive in real life.

  30. I'm not from Germany, but I have ordered from both of those sites. Postage shouldn't be too expensive if you order enough items. It's not a flat fee, but it barely goes up if you add more items. One thing I did notice is that Amazon.fr sometimes has free delivery and they also have Kiala, which is very handy if you're at work during the day. I think packaging etc. depends mostly on: Who is packing your stuff. Sometimes you get lucky and it's well packed, sometimes it's terrible. It's totally random for all Amazon websites I've ordered from (fr, de, co.uk, it, es). I've had a mix of good packaging and bad packaging on all sites. Who is delivering your package. If your mailman / courier sucks, your package will get squashed no matter how well it's packaged. Better to have a good courier and bad packaging. If you can see who is delivering your package (e.g. Deutsche Post) and you know they are good, you can be pretty confident you'll receive the package in good order. In any case, if there's something wrong with your order (damaged, didn't receive, ...), you can return it without issues. So I suggest you just try it out and if you're not happy: return your sets.

  41. Instead of posting this in MOC highlights I feel like it's more appropriate to post it here ;-) Some of these might not be "architecture" (at least one ;-) ) but I'll post it here anyhow as it belongs to my series ^.^ This time the topic is asian architecture. I've found so many great MOCs that I cannot possibly post them all but I'll try to share some of the bests with you. Let's start with the simpler but still beautiful ones and work our way up. 1. https://www.flickr.com/photos/113119815@N06/15034180599/in/dateposted/ A very nice wooden gate by Kanji-Kanji-hiroshi (I cannot read the Kanji but the hiragana mean hiroshi ;-) ... so some japanese guy anyhow ) And an awesome cherry blossom tree! 2. Secondly we have a interior scene by "konze" https://www.flickr.com/photos/k0nze/7285602026 I like the simplicity of it. 3. Next we'll have a nice interior scene in some japanese teahouse by "gabriel" https://www.flickr.com/photos/55631421@N03/page1 I really like the detailed and yet simple interior even though I feel that the floor of "konze"'s moc (number 2) is more realistic. The exterior sure is an eyecatcher with the small cherry tree and the stonefloor. Also the bricktecture of the roof is great. 4. Last but certainly not least! I hope I can upload all of these picture ;-) These are just some builds of Hung Andy https://www.flickr.com/photos/andybear0426/ who has built many great stunning MOCs. You should check out his flickr account! Here are some details of the temple... These are pieces of paper, small fortune telling papers normally. Ringing the bell :-) And I guess these are supposed to be small wooden plates (also fortune stuff) Check out this awesome CRAB! restaurant. There's also a great interior. I guess these are dumplings... anyhow very nice detailed building and interior! Hope you enjoyed this asian architecture post :-)
