The Lego Batman Movie sets marked down again at Costco: 70905 The Batmobile: $29.99, 50% off retail ( as mentioned yesterday by @justapilgrim ) 70901 Mr. Freeze Ice Attack: $6.99, 70% off retail 70902 The Catwoman Catcycle Chase: $6.99, 70% off retail This is YMMV as they are just clearing out what they still have left from the shipment they got a couple of months ago.3 points

41176 the secret marketplace. This is the one with the green dragon. It disappeared first from what I remember. It was clearanced around me for $30 before Christmas. Only picked up one thinking it was too early for it to retire. Oops. 41178 dragon sanctuary, the purple dragon one. I don't think I ever saw this one clearanced, it just disappeared during Christmastime and never came back. I did end up getting a bunch at a closing Kmart for about $30 each. I got excited when the price shot to $80+ and sold one then. Then another at $100, and a couple at $125. Now I have one left that I have listed at $150, which has got to be about as high as it will go right? I also let my wife open and build one because she likes the elves line....this was before the price went up. A couple reasons I think this one does better than the secret market place, besides maybe that it's more rare, is the color of the dragon and the build itself. There's already another elves set with a green dragon. This is the only purple one. And for anyone collecting all the dragon sets , this ones main build is a tower thing that has a spot for each of the different dragon eggs.3 points

If it's not a big seller (TRU, Target, etc.), ask them to revise their price.2 points

Some of us act as their warehouses, storing their sets in return for a discounted price, until the Christmas season.2 points

I was going to ask where in the world they still have B&N stock like that, but your user name clearly explains it. Some Pringles trivia for the rest of us: Invented in Ohio The guy who invented the can was so proud of it he asked to be buried in a big one Pringles don't actually contain enough Potato to be called Potato Chips That's thoroughly disturbing.2 points

Those guys made OPEC seem like a fair trade organisation the way they manipulated the market. Travel to another city and you´d be able to swap all your duds to complete the collection in a heartbeat.2 points

Add a $5 Ebay Gc. It will not qualify for the promo, but since your total is now over $75, the coupon will trigger (pro-rated , over the qualifying amount). Pro-tip EDIT: Apparently, EBay changed the system. This no longer works. Minifig or other small item trick it is. I've used TRU's Chicken Coop box for this purpose in the past as well (if they are still available online).1 point

Well, he certainly didn't pack all that stuff in an X-Wing. Maybe we'll see how he got on that island.1 point

Never thought of cling wrap, would definitely lesson the weight. Next ebay buyer might get a little surprise , as i test that out if trying to make an ounce weight difference for small sets under a LB.1 point

I remember watching Spite Your Face Productions' work for a long time originally on their site or over at Brickfilms. Their work was some of the very first stop motion LEGO animation I had seen. One of my favorites aside from the well-known "Monty Python & the Holy Grail in LEGO!" short was the roughly one minute long condensed take on Stanley Kubrick's classic simply titled "One: A Space Odyssey". Anywho, I hope you keep us posted about your wife's project.1 point

This set is a value in more ways than one. After looking at the overpriced STAR WARS sets at Target yesterday, this set is well worth the price.1 point

I wish that was an option, but that doesn't exist. There's not really an inventory of parts within a bag for each set out there. The only thing I can think of, is to part the set to a Wanted List. Then, use the instructions and back out the pieces from the two bags manually.1 point

Am I reading this correct?...1969 pcs for $120 USD!!! That's a great deal. Guess their trying to makeup for some of those overpriced city sets......ie..Service Stations & Fun at the Park.1 point

When I package up a set, a boxed one, not a poly-bag one, I almost always wrap it up like a gift in plastic so it is sealed. Not your typical plastic bags, but real Mil Plastic you get at your Home Improvement Store. Other than adding a little bit of weight to the shipment, any "bad things" anyone sees with this? The reason I do it is that if it is pouring on your delivery day, I would much rather take the extra step to make sure the box inside does not get wet as we all know cardboard soaks it up. I realize not everyone can be on their front porch waiting for delivery and in my few experiences when it has happened to me (rain.snow) the box is usually soaked and the contents inside can potentially have water damage. Just want to verify nothing bad can come of this before I continue this practice. It can be a pain to wrap them up tight, but just another added benefit that I hope buyers see as a good thing. Thoughts? Thanks in advance. EDIT: Like many of you do as well, I look to set the Bar High when it comes to making sure items are being properly shipped and delivered in the best possible condition. I also wrap nearly all smaller purchases in a 2nd layer of bubble wrap within a bubble mailer. IMO, bubble mailers do not offer enough bubble protection by themselves for our precious Lego.1 point

Open a second store but keep the 1st one open. Anything you don't want interfering in laws knowing about put up on the new account. When the whole divorce is finalised return to using the original store - no sense losing years (?) of good feedback1 point

With the numbering system, I doubt this is a UCS version. It's most likely just the 75038 done in a different color. No need to panic.1 point
