Rebel Combat Frigate is $88 at TRU. We'll probably see this thing in a 40% off sale at some time, but some people were talking about it in the May 4th thread. http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=87042096 Looks like the rest of their Star Wars stuff is 20% off too. http://www.toysrus.com/family/index.jsp?categoryId=3686913&ab=TRU_BrandShop:LEGO_StarWars_ShopNow:15 points

For anyone that wants to have a look, I'm never actually going to finish this review. So, here's all the build pictures and the jokes I came up with for it. BAG 1: Hawkeye: Hey Cap, I'm here for the big fight. Captain America: Oh, great Hawkeye, we're early, so you can help me set up. Captain America: Now, if we work together here, we can raise this up quickly. Hawkeye, why do you even need my help, Mr. Super Strength? Captain America: Because the Super Soldier Serum didn't give me 4 arms. Captain America: Are you sure it's a good idea to store our flames next to the fuel drums? Hawkeye: Sure, I put our fire extinguisher there too. If anything happens, we'll be prepared. BAG 2: Spider-Man: I'm here for the fight! Ha ha, caught you arrow dude! Hawkeye: Gross, I got some of this stuff in my mouth! Cap: Look, Spidey, we get to the fight early to set up. Without that, we won't have lots of stuff to wreck. We're not ready to punch you yet. Spidey: Oh man, sorry about that Katniss. Let me help you out. Hawkeye: Wait, did this stuff come out of you? Cap: When you two are done playing around, I think we should get started, everyone else will be here soon. Spidey: my webs are a super strong polymer that is flexible and adhesive, but breaks down within a few hours so that the city's not just constantly covered in webs. Plus, it's cherry flavored, so can double as a snack. Cap: That's very impressive son, but for now we've got to finish this truck. Hawkeye: Unless you can spin a truck out of that stuff and save us the time to build it. Spidey: Uhm, nope? Spidey: Hey, you guys want to hear something funny? I'm not even old enough to have a license yet. Hawkeye: Great, I've got underpants older than this guy. Spidey: You should probably change them. Cap: Can I just be put back in the ice? Cap: Hey Spidey, help me lift this so Clint can put the wheels on. Spidey: Hey Merida, can you get a move on? This thing isn't as light as it looks. Hawkeye: It's lighter than your mom. Spider-Man: That's not cool man, my mom's dead. Hawkeye: She probably just left because she didn't like you. Cap: Geez Clint, give the kid a break. Spidey: You probably can't tell because of the mask, but I hate you. Cap: Hawkeye, how long are you going to carry those lights around while we're doing all the work? Hawkeye: Oops! You noticed that huh? Hawkeye: All right, if you guys can lift these, how hard can it be? Cap: Careful Hawk, lift with your legs. Hawkeye: Eep! Spidey: Ha ha! Spidey: You know, I think Tony Stark has a robot or something that can put this thing together faster. Gotta bounce! BAG 3: Vision: I don't understand why Tony told me to come here early. Vision: There appears to be a lot of things that were put together wrong. I think Mister Barton must have been involved. Hawkeye: Hey metal man, what did you mean by that? Spidey: He meant that you're bad at your job Speedy from CW's the Arrow. Cap: Because Speedy's a female archer? Spidey: Yup. Vision: Alert! There is a fire due to Mr. Barton's ineptitude. Spidey: Don't worry, I'll smother it in webbing! Cap: Are you sure that stuff's not flammable? Hawkeye: I hope it is. Spidey: AAAAAHHHHH! IT BURNS! Cap: I've got the fire extinguisher. Vision: I'll use this cover to smother the flames. Hawkeye: I don't feel so good, are you sure those webs are edible? Hawkeye: I'm dying because Spider-Boy shot poisonous webs into my mouth. Spidey: Listen Dorkeye, I eat that stuff all the time, and I'm fine. Vision: I believe that you are fine because you have mutated spider genes and can process elements that Mister Barton cannot. Spidey: I thought that Dorkeye's mutated Dork genes could handle it. Cap: Come on Clint, suck it up. I've seen you pour Twizzlers in a bowl with cherry cola and call it cereal. Vision: I don't know why I deal with these people. Not a single one of them is logical. Finished shot:4 points

Tonight I finally finished off the UCS Tie Fighter while watching Episode IV. After sitting in my build pile since December, I decided to put it together doing 1-2 bags per night over the last week. Overall, I was very happy with the set. I'm not sure why such harsh criticism? Also, I disassembled and put away Technic set 42030 Volvo L350F Wheel Loader....primarily in order to make room for more SW UCS sets. UCS Slave 1 is up next.4 points

Sounds like a good blog post for the site here. But here are my best practices: Never use them online. Only in store. As soon as they come in to your email, put the GC # and the PIN into a spreadsheet Add my GC to Apple Wallet (because I'm iOS on my phone), if possible. Screen shot the email (usually has a barcode and PIN) and save it to a photo album on my phone Good practice is to print out, as others have suggested. Just last week, I was auditing my records, and discovered that I was doing really bad GC management. I found two different transactions where I didn't get all my emails. I got 4 out of 5 from Oct 2016, and 2 out of 3 from Aug 2016. I called PayPal and told them the problem, and they were able to easily send me the full compliment of emails.3 points

Despite trying to let my wallet recover from May 4th, I was tempted by the Walmart clearance thread. I picked up a $35 Tie Striker for my collection and a $35 Duplo Batcave to put away for this guy (only 30% off but I couldn't resist)!3 points

thanks target. went deep (50x) on the juniors lost temple 10725 which was widely available in quantity mint condition at nearby targets in tax-free NH so with red card discount came out 11.63 each (61% off bloated $29.99 msrp but hey its got a nice box). still some left at a few out of the way stores as well to keep an eye on in case they dip further in price. also snagged 3x minty 76055 for $32.76 after red card. hopefully the ninjago movie drives demand for this in the fall & holiday season <gulp>.2 points

Looks like a lot of work. Look on our price guide for a starting price point. You will never sell these items at a garage sale for anything close to what you can on eBay, Craigslist, Brick Classifieds, Bricklink, BrickOwl or simialr marketplace.2 points

The frames are just cheap Ribba frames from Ikea, but I build the wooden shelves inside, spray them Black, insert some nice black card then glue the bases in. 20 figures was a bit of a squeeze but I'm pleased with the outcome.2 points

All I can say is that there are some out there, like myself, that invoice and ship as fast as I can (same day or next day is the goal). I communicate often so you and I know what the status is. I am in the same boat as you though, I made 2 purchases with other members over a week ago. One just got shipped a day or so ago (after 7 days of waiting) and the other one has no activity on it. I have emailed the seller even to verify that my payment came through, which it has, but again, I am still waiting for any tracking to start. It only makes me love myself that much more (please don't mind the plug but it's true, see feedback plz)2 points

Since the Snowspeeders were sold out when I went to the Lego Store Thursday, I had to backorder. Was hoping to build it this weekend, so in order to quench my UCS thirst, I broke open the UCS B-Wing I won in @Ed Mack's Christmas Raffle. Its pretty amazing. The real UCS sets are just leaps and bounds above all other SW sets. However, I'm pretty sure the designer had some kind of bet going about how many non-gray pieces he could hide inside this set. There are tons of red, blue, tan, and green parts buried in the guts. Now it's just wait and see how long it takes my wife to notice it's sitting on the foyer table, because I have no other place to put it.2 points

I received a $10 back on $50 as well. Useless to me. It would require I spend $50 at Kmart. I have too many points to actually be paying for stuff.1 point

I think the problem with the constraction series has been faces. Any figure with a mask and armour works well but human characters like obi wan , luke, rey etc have looked comically bad. That said they are getting better. Baze Malbus is a big improvement and chirrut imwe is spot on facially. Jyn is still a disaster though.1 point

Hi Henry. According to The Crystal Ball Fiscal Times investment section the market forecast to reach that point is approximately by December 2024. Maybe. You need to: 1)stop buying any LEGO for investiments immediately 2) read this site a whole lot more 3) start tracking prices of retired sets on ebay (you're not able to sell LEGO on Amazon if you're not grandfathered in already 4) ignore the hype of any LEGO better than gold for investment viral internet articals that are the result of lazy e-journalists and gullible readers before you can realise that believing such a question is in any way tangeable to any known reality is the reason why LEGO investing is on a downward trajectory for most people that are not clued in, and also for many who are.1 point

Amazing that you could sell it for, what, about $350 each or so (trying to determine how you'd generate 90-100% return on a $160 buy-in)! I guess there are a lot of informed buyers out there. Never ceases to amaze me!!!!1 point
