  17. More from my 5 year old 70737 Titan Mech Battle
  18. 42042 - Technic Crawler Crane - released in USA in Aug 2015; 1401 pcs, power functions included. RRP US$149.99. ToysRUs lists it as an "exclusive" but is widely available everywhere online. Seems frequently discounted in the $115 - $126 range. Walmart.com has it now around $116 = 23% off (Sep 2016). Overshadowed by it's big brother in 2015 - the 42043 Mercedes AROCS - could this set take an early exit (or at least a "normal" 2-year exit) and be a big winner in 2018? Worth picking up at $110? ... or better to wait for a better deal?
  19. FYI... this is what's posted over at eurobricks. jim is an eurobricks "technic admin" http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/133290-lego-star-wars-2017-pictures-and-rumors/&do=findComment&comment=2787607
  20. Damn, I wish I had just waited for that reply rather than spending 20 minutes reading about the porsche fiasco ?
  21. yes seems like all surprise point offers now exclude coupons. one advantage of surprise points though is they still work on hot buys, unlike most coupons.
  22. Cargo Terminal $150 good price if you want to build one : https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00B06UCUG
  23. Which I still say is a rip off of my Emmet's Beach House. I want my 1% LEGO. Hey I tried
  24. I just found a random store and added 2 sets to my cart with no issues.
  25. Yes. I keep a spreadsheet with coupon codes and expiration dates. The whole "load to your account" thing only gave me headaches, and this way I never lose a coupon.

I think it's just an Amazon thing they use for bricks. For example, https://www.amazon.co.uk/d/Bricks-Blocks/Lego-Storage-Brick-Medium-Blue/B008KQ1O4W/ref=lp_3799315031_1_10?srs=3799315031&ie=UTF8&qid=1493553755&sr=8-10 is available in blue and yellow. Obviously most sets are "multi coloured". They just don't seem to have a consistent system for naming items. Sometimes they use Lego(r) - Title - Nr , Lego - Nr - Title - Building Toy. I guess it depends on who is adding the item to their catalog.
  27. Amazing that you could sell it for, what, about $350 each or so (trying to determine how you'd generate 90-100% return on a $160 buy-in)! I guess there are a lot of informed buyers out there. Never ceases to amaze me!!!!
  28. It says on the cover "new Testament" but some of the pics were clearly old, which makes me question the theological legitimacy of the book/author.
  29. Open a second store but keep the 1st one open. Anything you don't want interfering in laws knowing about put up on the new account. When the whole divorce is finalised return to using the original store - no sense losing years (?) of good feedback
  30. 5 X Capitol $35 each 2 X Spidey Bridge $30 each TRU after PM to Amazon, $200 Reward and 15% GC Hope these prices stick around for Monday's reward and TRUTH
  31. This was me. I have only sold via FBA and out of the blue was booted for IP violation and possibly selling inauthentic items. It can happen to anyone anytime even if you think you are 100% good to go and you do everything perfectly. I never got an exact answer as to how/why this happened (they don't give that info up) but I have to assume that if there are complaints about something you are selling is counterfeit they will pull certain sellers whether that is random or what I have no idea and boot them and leave it up to them to prove themselves. Guilty before proven innocent. I'm putting eggs back in the basket but with the knowledge that at any time some clown might stomp through my hen house and smash them all to bits.
  32. Good, healthy debate - why I frequent Brickpicker. See clear arguments on both sides. Thank you to everyone weighing in. Do want to clear up something that has been misconstrued as the debate continued. In no way was I wanting to know if the sets I could see had all of the mini figures, nor was I expecting that they did. What I did want to know from the seller was whether or not it had been picked through to remove figures en masse. I asked one simple question, and I think a fair question for a bulk lot if it is not stated already. Their answer affirmed that it had not. But the reality was it clearly had. I'll mull over how to proceed. I tried to reach out diplomatically to seller, but they broke @KShine's mantra above without hesitation. Not sure if they are willing to bring it back to civil communication. Now someone bring on another juicy, eBay fruitcake topic...

  34. The buyer has, at his resource, the ability to ask questions before he bids. To that, if I'm interested in a Lot and don't think the photos satisfactory....I ask questions. If I'm interested in minis in the Lot....I'll ask the seller to take more pictures or pull mini figure pieces etc. etc. If they don't want to be bothered and I'm not comfortable about that....I don't bid.
  35. Was at the church attached to my daughter's preschool and found "the minifigure bible.". Figured it was a huge compilation of minifigure photos, but it was an illustrated bible with minifigures. I'm not a big bible person, but it seemed super graphic.
  36. Sold a Racers Ferrari Enzo. Bought locally for £70 and spent £3 on missing parts and took some more flattering pics than original ad and thereafter sold for £170 with £1 FVF so cleared £90 for a 1 month hold. Was tempted to keep it but will quickly run out of space if I deviate from Star Wars UCS and modulars.
  37. Finished! Looks great with the other buildings I have. My daughter loves the various play features. Was an enjoyable build as well.

  41. I have been on record saying I don't like this set. Saw this built and on display at the LEGO Store this week. Like many others - my mind has been changed. This is a damn fine ship. I felt the same way about The Sea Cow, for what that's worth.
