I like to take pictures of my swag when I return from Star Wars Celebration. I know this pile of items is small compared to most attendees and I included the KMart items from the 2 stops on the way down. I took the family this time, so my swag collection was very limited. I spent most of the time following my son and our group. I had to keep an eye out for all our kids, so I didn't get to browse or shop much this time. Anytime I looked at something for 2 seconds, it seemed one of our kids disappeared or were engulfed by a wave of con goers. We received very late notice (Thursday evening), but we're very lucky. Each of my family members who entered the LEGO exclusive lottery won. We feel very fortunate. None of my friends or their family members entered, don't get me started on that.

I found a ~95% complete Haunted House for $50 on Letgo. Mark that off my Lego bucket list

Had a lot of fun building Elves Secret Marketplace with my son (6) and daughter (3). Mainly me of course, but they chipped in. Engaging and bright set, with lots of small, interactive parts.

Thanks @Philb, what a solid deal! I'll have to call SYW to get a few of the $2's that didn't post, but I did learn that you can buy B&N GCs at Kmart with Kmart GCs I cleaned out a store today at net discount of 36.2%. ($25-$5-2$=28% before GCs). C'mon 50% sale Monday B&N!

It's not the first edition that has the seal on it though. I think it was made a couple years later (2009/2010). It was taken out of the original box only twice AFAIK, once when I bought it to verify, once to take a pic for this forum (I'm talking about the packing box - its sealed ofc). Have you tried any of the Star Wars forums? There are still those collectors out there that may want it and haven't heard the rumors.

Took advantage of recent eBay £1 FVF offer and wanted to clear space so priced to sell and sold following in 2 days. 2 x Artic Truck for £65 each, buy in £30 each Wall-E for £70, buy in was £25 T-rex Tracker for £100, buy in was £20 using TRU Vouchers Trevi Fountain for £65 - buy in was £10 (on sale at SAH and using VIP points) Total investment £115 and a profit of just over £200 for what was a six month old with minimal fuss and a lot more than your high street savings bank or blue chip tracker fund.

Been slowly acquiring HP sets. Snagged this complete with most bags sealed for $65. Great build! I'm hooked on these sets.

I wasn't counting my eggs before they hatched when I reported the other day. I wasn't sure how the other pick-ups would play out. Stranger things have happened when it comes to exclusives at these cons.

Well, nothing has actually been confirmed yet but it just goes to show that the Lego market is as volatile as any other investment as prices depend on rumours and expectations.

There are rumors all over the interwebs, but the expectation is a new UCS MF by the end of the year. Thus, most people on here interested in a 10179 are waiting to see the bottom to grab one if they are even interested.

Sears is still there (1.5%). According to the insider forums this happens occasionally when Kmart is late on a payment, according to them it's usually back within a few days. To their credit the SYW app and website has REALLY improved lately, and I'm finding myself using it more. Fount on the other hand is a piece of garbage (why can't they just put all of that on the SYW app?)

What's the edition size on the Detention Block? I've looked at a bunch on ebay and the highest number I saw was around 2200.

Civility is always a work in progress. Some members get it, others struggle with it, and a few decide to ignore it. It's the internet, you are always gonna have snarky posts. The more popular a forum gets, the more it proliferates. We can't control what others post but we can control how we react and respond. As far as the TB goes, I'm keeping one to build but I've sold most of stash for a loss to pay for more Exos.

Used 6211 Imp Star Destroyer (my 4th one in 12 months, working on #5 now) w/ instructions, no box. In for $32 out for $133 net after fees ($10 buy-in + $22 in parts... original owner glued the 4 most expensive parts :P). $100 profit is ok on this one since I inventoried but never assembled it.

I've been curious for some time about the history of the different moon logos on classic space figures. Is there any information about what sets the different types came in originally or if this was a switch made before/after some particular year? Moon space logo qualities I have identified: Gold Logo - Bright and vibrant Gold Logo Faded - Clearly was originally gold Gold Logo Faded all the way to White - again, clearly originally gold Dark Gold Logo - Typically only seen on red figures but occasionally on blue. Red Logo - Only found on red figures Seen in the second photo White Logo - Everything is so crisp that it seems impossible that it was originally gold.
