  2. easter egg hunt on sale $7.99 at LEGO Shop at Home. should drop down to $4.99 after Easter. https://shop.lego.com/en-US/Easter-Egg-Hunt-40237
  3. According to a B&N spring clearance starts Monday. He said not a lot of Lego included this round, but the space shuttle is on the list.
  4. Maybe he's asking the question we all wanted to ask, but were too lazy to.
  5. Went from Silver to Platinum in one week. Not sure how, not complaining.
  6. I kept watching the trailer because I was procrastinating mowing my lawn Spoilers alert!! 0:50 White Wolf = Mononoke Hime ??? 7. All message boards are like that. BP is much better than most. imdb had to shut theirs down it got so bad. On topic - I used to have 12 TBs, now have zero. That's that.
  8. Kmart.com has Super heroes 76079 Ravager Attack $16.46. Plus few points can easily get price even lower. http://www.kmart.com/lego-marvel-super-heroes-ravager-attack-76079/p-004W007284317001P?plpSellerId=Kmart&prdNo=24&blockNo=24&blockType=G24
  9. Don't hate, picked up my Celebration Exclusive Detention Block set today. I finally received the email.
  10. Found this fellow on Craigslist (Baltimore) for $150. Needs a bath for the layer of dust, but otherwise in excellent condition.
  11. Had a lot of fun building Elves Secret Marketplace with my son (6) and daughter (3). Mainly me of course, but they chipped in. Engaging and bright set, with lots of small, interactive parts.
  12. Welcome aboard! Glad to have you! Need any Joker Steamrollers?
  13. That's correct. Walmart doesn't do ship to store and PM the store price. If you want that price you have to find it in store at that price. And if it's out of stock then you're out of luck at that store.
  14. WTF last season???? I was aftraid of this when Feloni spoke about Rebels as the place to end CW storylines I think I saw a U-Wing, X-Wings, and Ezra got a jetpack Based on the animation style, Forces of Destiny seems to be aimed at even younger kids (Disney channel proper, not even XD) boo...
  15. The promotional/coupon stacking you can do at the moment in German stores is ridiculous (in the positive meaning of the word). Say you'd like to have all 12 BrickHeadz. In the end you'll pay the regular 120 Euros, but by taking advantage of the running 3x VIP points promo, stacking the 100 VIP points coupons from the Wall Calendar, adding Mini Beetles by getting to 40 Euros (again and again) and splitting everything into multiple transactions - what you get back for your 120 Euros for 12 BrickHeadz is 960 VIP points and 3 Mini Beetles. That means: As soon as the Mini Beetle hits 24 Euros on Ebay, you'll have gotten your 12 BrickHeadz "for free". Looking at this, TLG might be in serious trouble sales-wise at the moment. Maybe all the crappy releases from recent months already have a significant effect on investors buying very much less than before, forcing Lego to do so many (unannounced) promotional stuff that you simply HAVE to buy because something.
  16. The person I quoted. Not you dude; you asked a harmless question. And let's be real for a second; over the past 4 years, this hobby has attracted some extraordinarily toxic individuals. And I'll never get the people like I quoted above who don't understand their own hypocrisy. I keep watching it get worse and I had to jump out of lurking for a quick second to say so.
  17. Darn. I was hoping it could have last more seasons & evolved into the Ghost crew's adventures during ANH, ESB and ROTJ. They were still "Rebels" during those 5 years.
  18. fake news. terrible. total disaster.
  19. I'm about 2/3 through it right now. There are some pretty repetitive parts, especially the parts with tons of cheese wedges, and as has been said the two towers are identical so by definition they are pretty repetitive. I think just by the design of this one there is a limit to how creative the build can get to build a couple towers. However, I am still having fun bulding it, and it's cool to see how it comes together.
  20. Reminder: Lego Store monthly mini-build registration just opened. This month it's a little race car. https://shop.lego.com/en-US/minibuild-registration
  21. I think it's probably a bit of both. It is repetitive, but it's also an accurate representation of the source material. I enjoyed building it because I really dig the size and part count on these large landmark sets. Of course, I'm a big fan of the architecture sets as well. I wish LEGO would do more of them, perhaps an annual release like the Modular Buildings or the UCS Star Wars sets. There is no shortage of available landmarks to recreate.
  22. We need a list before heading into combat. If anyone knows anyone who works at B&N we need find out what's on clearance! Hopefully employees don't hide stuff....Again...
  23. Don't think the set was a reason for ROADTRIP!!! or @cladner I'll bet you $1000 he will flip it, @exciter1, I'll buy your set for $800
  24. yeah - he drove to orlando from ohio so he could flip it. maybe at a million dollars he would. somehow i think exciter1 is star wars fan to the core.
  25. The packaging is solid. The box is very nice and has a red ribbon like seal with number on the box.
  26. The packaging of this little set is something worth to mention. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lego-Star-Wars-Celebration-2017/222474089557?_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D2%26asc%3D40130%26meid%3D2097a9ffb4f54a739ccfa8a59bf4da00%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D6%26rkt%3D6%26sd%3D142348783694

After about 16 months of collecting/acquiring stock, I finally began my first foray into selling. I listed all of these items last weekend. eBay: Raptor Escape - $118.5 (I bought 3 from a guy in a Wal-Mart parking lot for $120 about a year ago) Wookie Gunship - $70 (buy-in was $40 from Target clearance) Series 1 Microfighters X-Wing + TIE - $40 (buy in was $20) Rhino and Sandman Supervillain Team-up - $39.50 (buy in was $19 from Wal-Mart clearance) Loose Minifigures: Jek-14 - $20 Ithorian Jedi Master - $15 Wolfpack Clone Troopers (x2) - $20 AT-DP Drivers (x2) - $8 Kallus - $10 All in all, I'm pretty satisfied with the return. I never intended this to be a major source of revenue, but these sales at least somewhat offset the cost of my habit. I'm sure I could have held on longer for higher returns, but I've run out of storage space and my (live-in) girlfriend is constantly reminding me of this fact.
  29. I'm $30 away from platinum vip,, decisions, decisions...I do need TP...

    This one's clearly a bot.
  31. I'm not sure what you were expecting. Walmart wont match an in store clearance price on an online order or a purchase from another Walmart location according to policy. You could argue with an manager, but that's definitely frowned upon here.
  32. Honestly, I never though another The Phantom Nonsense set would be in my house. Picked up two 75092 Naboo Starfighter sets at a local Target for $55.97 using clearance and BOGO discounts.
  33. My 5 year built 70730 Chain Cycle Ambush I love it. I kinda wish Ghost Rider's cycle looked more like this.
  34. Not vip 100 points in SAH online Spain
  35. Sorry for bothering you but I've been asking myself over and over again since you showed up on the site: Who is that guy with paint on his face and why does he have paint on his face?! Just trying to regain my peace of mind. Thx
  36. If they did that, I'm not sure that I'd buy anywhere other than Walmart.
  37. I found an almost full case @ walmart today
  38. I'm sure a good set of instructions will make it online.
  39. you can take this a part and sell as a individual bricks on BL or other similiar markets with ROI about 150%
  40. I've never built this one, is it a fun build, or is it pretty repetitive?
  41. Out with the kids and happened to pass by my local Lego shop. Even though I have my quota of beetles couldn't resist popping in to see if they had any and they did so bought an Eiffel Tower for me and a y m-wing microfighter for my son who was with me. As well as getting the beetle, got a few polys thrown in, including an admiral yuralen. Not bad for a spontaneous purchase of less than £40 if I do say so myself.
  42. Merc and Chiron over a couple of nights in front of the TV. left off the stickers for the time being.
  43. A used/99% complete 75055 for free from Facebook Marketplace. They were asking $50, but couldn't find the third book and gave up on inventorying it, so they just gave it to me. Sweet!
  44. 1 point
*ahem* I think that confirms....I WAS RIGHT.
  45. Exo Suits... not much else needs to be said.

Field report: clean as a whistle I called or visited most of the 99 cents only stores between LAX and the Antelope Valley. There WERE 3 Homers that are now packed away in my carry on. Zero located beyond that. It seemed that some stores had inventory within the past few weeks, but most were bare since February. Hopefully this will help someone else hunting the last gasps.
  47. This was discussed in the Walmart Clearance thread already a few days ago, but the kicker is that the discount only holds for items that are not already stocked in that store. So this offering works exactly as you describe it, redcell.
  48. I'd like to give away this exclusive allowance to purchase this set to someone who will be there or planning to be there this Sunday to pickup this limited set for 40$. I'm not QFLL'ing this on ebay whatsoever because I just wanted to give this special opportunity to some BP fellow (active member preferably) who will most likely attend to the Orlando SW Celebration Day. 16 of April, Sunday 10AM Open Window. or maybe @Jeff Mack will be interested in redeeming this one for next year charity raffle cause. Please No Swindling. PM me if interested. You will be able to purchase this little set potentially worth some significant amount on second market. "Dear Shewie Congratulations!
