Sorting through pieces and Bricklinking a few to replace the Zombies set I sold. Why do I do this to myself?

That's a great build, it was my like third set. It's challenging, b/c it's not in numbered bags like most sets, so you have to sort the 1,000+ pieces and find each piece. You will then have to follow it up with the Mini, the F40, the Beetle, and the Caterham is the only problem.

Totally forgot about listing a 75021 Republic Gunship on Brick Classifieds last year. Sold one today for $190. Oops. Cheapest prime is $314. I have 2 more. They all look like I got them straight from the LEGO production floor. I wish I could've accidentally sold a 75918 for $75 instead. I had to deactivate around 10 listings that I had forgotten about.

If you buy NONE of this set, then you can't lose money on it. That's a basic concept and I didn't refer to any past mistakes that you made and apparently you made hundreds, or thousands. I can't keep track of all of the loser posts, but I remember the couple of winners: one being the Mars Rover and you did quite well on that.

The fact he was able to sell Benny´s Spaceship at ANY price is merit in itself.

Any suggestions on how to get around items being fulfilled by Sears because it is denying my coupons because they are for "Kmart"? I filter by items available from Kmart, the preview box says sold by kmart.com, but the cart says fulfilled by Sears. Bizarre because I just placed an order 5 minutes ago and it was fulfilled by Kmart and all coupons worked. Now when I add the same set back to my empty cart it says fulfilled by Sears. It's like I am stuck in all my items being fulfilled by Sears even though they may also be available from Kmart. I would do store pickup, but Kmart is too far away and would waste my potential savings in gas. EDIT: Sorry, nevermind. I figured out that I need to go to kmart.com directly rather than shopping on syw in order for it to be fulfilled by kmart. The hoops we jump through to save money :).

If your going to build 21303 that's all good, enjoy the set. But investment wise your going to struggle to turn a dollar for a long time. Even tho I never seen them in a retail shop, with VIPs I was getting them for $50ish. I have only one KeM and would have sold it to you cheaper than that if you had asked.

My theory is that Thrawn gets sent off to the Unknown Regions by Palps and Ezra and Kanan give chase. That conveniently gets rid of the three of them during the OT. And opens up a possibility of Ezra coming in Ep 8 (whether he is Snoke or he's Del Toro's character - and yes I know what's been said about Del Toro's character but I'm not convinced it's true)

From what I heard, Dragons seem to be pretty sure-fire investments, and 50% off is a good starting point for profit :). Just a few warnings on these two sets: 1) Neither of them are currently sold out or retired from LEGO Shop at Home. The real gem in the line is 41178 The Dragon Sanctuary which retired after only 4 months and never saw broad distribution at retail. So you might need to wait a while before these sets start increasing in value (potentially another year). 2) Speaking of retirements, out of the two Dragon waves (March 16 and August 16), the following sets have retired: 41171 Emily Jones, 41173 School of Dragons, 41174 Starlight Inn, 41176 Secret Marketplace, 41177 Precious Crystal Mine and 41178 Dragon Sanctuary. 41172 Water Dragon, 41175 Fire Dragon, 41179 Queen Dragon and 41180 Shadow Castle are still available at LEGO Shop at Home and in stores. Given the surprise post-retirement increase of some of the other sets these last remaining ones are going to be pretty hoarded, so they are less likely to increase in value (or at least not as rapidly) as the others. 2) Target did sell 41179 for $22 in some locations - I've got 3 at that price You'll be competing with some at those buyins.

well, at 16lbs (which is probably 12 without the bin), there's allot of off-brand non-Lego parts in there to also exclude. even at $3 bulk lot buy-in you're looking at about maybe $25 worth of Lego, all of it appears to be generic penny elements too, so not much resale/investment value - less 2 hours of your time driving there & back, - fuel & food costs, minus cleaning time, minus sorting time, minus listing/selling/shipping fees... that lot is probably minus $75-100 bucks or so just for the fun of it. wouldn't bother really.

These are hard to come by for people who aren't buying.
