My local Wal-Mart's been cleaning out their trailers. Can't get the picture to load, but I found 2 Golden Dragons among the Hero Factory, spider-droids and Goblin King Battles.

Project getting there .. castle had an accident and needs to be rebuilt . Couple of smaller sets to buy and 3 sets to build .

The things im buying at B&N wont last to 50% and architecture never goes on sale - this is the time to buy those.

Not the greatest build ever but still interesting. Some interesting parts and colors. Fantastic Beasts Story Pack and Tina is from Fantastic Beasts Fun Pack. Niffler (mole creature) is a nice little build.

i felt the same way about YS barnes noble sale after i spent all my cash on the retired architecture. probably for the best anyway to wait to buy yellow submarine. i will snag some during double vip holiday promo time. i am doubting that YS has a production life under 18 months so i am guessing there is some time left. better to focus the cash on the retired sets. the bn sale was particularly satisfying because you were buying some of the best performing retired 2016 sets at 32.5% discount to msrp that were already selling significantly above the buyin. it seemed like they must have found another truck full of trevi fountains because these were at every bn i visited in abundance (3 stores in Western MA and Enfield CT) and without the spider-antitheft device. I was able to snag 12 Trevi between 4 stores. one store (Pittsfield MA) had 8 .

You have a green light if u choose to load up. Remember there were only 100 units at that Target. That's a small drop in a big bucket.

I tried to avoid at as long as possible, but I went to Barnes today. And scored the same sets as the rest of my fellow hoarde. But I did find a surprise, a pair of LTof Pisa. Didn't make the cut for 25%, but still managed 15% off retail. I don't know where they dug them out from, but Thank you!

This. Today is the last day of the sale, so get out there and get picking. I'm all done cleaning up at my two B&N. I ended up with 12 White Houses, 14 Capitols, 5 Mazes, 2 Tydiriums, and 2 Trevi Fountains. Everything else I'll wait until 50% clearance.

It's been TRU store policy for a while now that price matching does not stack with any other offers, including TRUTH. Getting them to do so is a huge YMMV and requires a supervisor override. Sometimes this site makes you believe that you should get every discount available including ones that go against store policy. It's great to score these once in a while but it should not be expected as the norm.

Visiting SoCal area- B&N, 99 cents, TRUs...where all BPs...tons of deals, great sets, all discounted...maze, WH, Trevis, Sith, Scooby, fun packs, level...whoohoo!

That's a good point. I forgot that LT shipped most of those out to other pickers at a slight markup. The Barnes and Noble price should be comparable to what they got them at then. I'll pick up a few.

I'm sorry, but there is NO store policy in regards to TRUTH and any other offer. The credit card company, which pays the 10%, is a separate entity from TRU. They couldn't care less if you saved $1 or $1000. They give you 10% off your total when you shop there on Thursdays. You can either accept that the store has created a policy that a) doesn't make sense and b ) is against company policy, or you can get the credit card company on the phone and have them explain their policy to the the manager.

I have experienced the most difficulty in getting the correct discounts at TRU...every time, never fails to have an issue.

Another MOC using only parts of the 75016 Imperial Assault Carrier: This one is inspired by the wing shape of the LL 928 Galaxy Explorer. I used this as my template for the spaceship shown. It has a large cockpit and a transporter room. This room fits a small glider and a controll platform, which can be left on a planetary surface to do some further investigations. The two blue thrusters illustrate the ion engines, which power that ship. They are located at a safe distance to the cockpit and transporter room, in order to avoid hazardous radiation from the charged particles in the electric fields of the ion engines. I am now constructing the original Imperial Assault Carrier, because I am on a creative break. If you have any ideas for another MOC alternate using this great collection of grey bicks, pls let me know✨

1. just2good is suggesting that the gaming aspect of Dimensions is done. It was supposed to be a 3 Year endeavor. Wave 7.5 just came out. We are in the middle of Year 2. There was originally scheduled a Year 3 line (potential properties unannounced). 2. Over on the Inside Dimensions podcast, they had some insight to the 99 Cent Store acquisition (this is me semi-quoting them): According to them, there were 478 pallets (each pallet containing cases of sets) that the 99 Cent Store acquired. A distributor of toys decided to liquidate their inventory (the 478 pallets) of Dimensions. Big Lots, Dollar Tree, Ross, 99 Cent Only Stores - they all have bid on the products. In this case, 99 Cent Only Stores won. This is how those stores often acquire a number of their products (from distributor liquidation). What you see is what you get with the 99 Cent Only Stores. Basically, LEGO way over produced Year 1, and don't expect to see the same for the Year 2 products. 3. Vortech was the big baddie for Year 1 in Dimensions. There is no minifigure for him (yet).

I'll start by saying that I am more than delighted that Kmart actually used boxes for this order. At least half of my 2017 purchases from them have been in bags with varying degrees of damage. They really went the extra mile on this one, though: why use 1 box that fits your sets when you can use two 10x10 boxes taped together to form a super box?

How i ship dimentions..ok...i use extra large 22x22x21 HD strong box for $4.45 ...perfectly fit...i mean it....150 large level or team packs in mint condition. Around 40+ lbs. HD - Home Depot Same box for fun packs i believe 200 packs.

Went to TRU and used the 20% off coupon for some clearance deals on 75096 (Sith Infiltrators)...but the best deal was using the same coupon for the NERF Star Wars First Order Blaster, (along with it being part of the buy one and get one 1/2 off deal they have going on). We are having a NERF birthday party for one of our boys. We were able to pick up a bunch for roughly $14 a piece (after coupons and magic) and will get rewards too. Should be a blast! (No pun intended).

Battle On Scarif -it's a small set but a good representation of the scene. Worth the cost of it at TRU with 20% off, 20% GCs and TRUTH. I already added a sand baseplate to it to give it more space may add more if I have time to make a bigger scene with all the characters and troopers from battle packs. I got an extra 2 Shore Troopers too from a second set I bought to part out. I'm trying to decide if the parts from a second set are worth adding around to build up the size or not. I'm no master builder so I'm waiting to see if other people try to double up the size.
