After losing out on numerous Ebay auctions (lost one last night with what seems to be in the usual last 5 seconds to a person that never bid on the item all day) and CL listings, I was finally able to buy the 3368 Space Centre I have so desired and I got it for $90 NISB with free shipping. It is the final piece I wanted for my space collection. Good things do come to those who wait...

After visiting my climbing partners house, who is also an AFOL, and seeing his original UCS x-wing 7191, I decided to build 10240. Loved the build, although the back was a bit weak during the first few stages. Can't say I love stickers much but did get the canopy on straight. Think my biggest trouble is that I can't stop until I finish a build. Was in bed at 3am, back up for work at 7...

Hi all, today I picked up my daughter from school after a muddy mountainbike ride. We build Lego all afternoon. She was building the Heartlake Friends Cupcake Cafe while I cut the seals of the 75140 Resistance Troop Transporter. Great quality time! I was amazed by the building process of 75140, what a magnificent set. Well designed and it looks awesome. The set is bigger than I expected and it feels really solid. Despite the stickers I absolutely enjoyed every moment of this build. And Princess Leia is special, great minifig. pc screenshot picture uploader uploading pictures screen capture software

As someone on the sideline for this I am going to enjoy the race to the bottom for personal collection purposes at least. :-)

The suspense to $20,000 was killing me. No longer is. Now to push to $30,000. Let's go folks.

40153 Birthday Table Decoration is a great deal at $4.99... too bad it is limit 2. It's a great set with 120 pcs and a minifig for $5. Now going for $18 - $19 on Amazon. Don't try and put it on your cake tho... it sinks in the frosting / smashes your cake when you try to activate the little "jack-in-the-box" feature... and of course, no fun to clean after that. (Personal experience )

Thank you brickpicker for teaching me the ways to snipe deals. This morning Pariah Canyon backcountry permits for May went live and I F5'd my way to 5 spots out of 20.

Lately, I've received sets from ebay sellers -- hopefully from nobody on here -- that have come kmart style. But at least they would put some cardboard on the sides within the bag. Not yesterday though. Got a gray bag with a 41063 dented and creased to hell inside -- shipped Smart Post even though the item said Priority Mail. Sent a complaint message and got this reply: "Thank you for letting me know I know next time not to send it through smart post I apologize the box was brand new as you can see on the pictures I am really sorry" No send it back for a full refund, let me take X off, etc... I sent them a response telling them I'll be submitting a refund request. I'm tempted to leave negative feedback on this seller as well -- for lack of common sense.

We are at 302 contributions. We had 1200 last year. If 900 people gave $10 each, we would hit $30,000. I know we have some wiggle room here. The site is as busy as it was last year. Economy is about the same. I need people to step up and I'm not afraid to ask anymore. Time is running out. If people are buying a boatload of sets, they can afford $10 for a good cause and a chance to win some great sets. Heck, they have a better chance to win than last year.

I think starting a thread with a list of buyers who have filed A-Z claims using this same method would be beneficial for all who sell on Amz.

It took more than 6 months for the Venom v. Symbiote poly to get an official release after they were spotted at LEGOLAND. As long as you don't mind a little wait, don't waste the money.

Any thing PT I will bet on and go deep in. PT looks like it will be something Disney will avoid poking with a 5 yard stick. Things with battle droids apear to be going away with the clones currently and only avaiable in larger sets atm. Anyone who stocked in with the Vader series box's where there were tons of PT stuff are looking good across the board. I will think Disney will dry up their new movie line in 5 years and then will do something different so who knows, but now they will follow a marvel style movie setup. Remember their are kids that enjoy the PT when they were young. They also enjoyed the Clone Wars. They are currently in college atm or starting with jobs and rent. You may hate PT but that does not mean all others follow your opinion and soon they might have cash and I look to have some of it.

My girl has been buggin for years to see the grand canyon and when I heard about these dimensions for .99 I told her ok we can go check out the canyon as long as we stop at every .99 store on the way. Just got back from the road trip and heres what I got. Not sure what to do with them yet but now I have dimensions and tumblers in the shed.

Couple more 10030 pics. Had my first major issue tonight - missing a 1x3 Left Wedge Plate. Lucky for me, I had hit a 99 Cent Store and bought a lone Gmili Fun Pack that had that part in it. I only bought it for the minifig anyway, so no big loss there.
