2 for 2 on The LEGO Batman Movie sets. This thing is awesome and I think there are a few new elements in here. Paid RRP this time, which pains me, but I really wanted this set. Even bought 2.15 points

You may want to rethink your approach. You'll find that just about all of us here don't subscribe to the idea that we screw anyone into paying a market price. Last time I checked, every single person that had made a purchase from me had done so willingly without me forcing them to do so.13 points

That's amateur screwing...last year, a bunch of us sold hundreds of GTs in the $40 range...$4 buy-in, $40 sales price...that's my kinda screwin'. and, yeah, you're not likely to find much sympathy around here. for your view that profiting off of selling Lego is "screwing" our customers...that's kind of the whole point of this site.8 points

Gorgeous creation by Lox Lego. The creation of curves and style used worked quite well for this car. If you would like more info see the home page for this creation: Hennessey Venom GT In its new garage spot with some of the other super cars. Fits right in!8 points

First of all, when @exciter1posts his finds, we all cry, ok? and that's your problem right there, you're getting in your truck. You need to get in a time machine.7 points

I recently built the new 75153 AT-ST Walker, and set it up in my display cabinet next to the 75094 Imperial Shuttle Tydirium: Of course, the minifigs are not from the same movie, but the models themselves are. My other recent build was the new 75172 Y-Wing: I love the model and am happy to have added it to my collection.7 points

We call them valued customers, which is much friendlier and much less offensive.6 points

My son and I built 75094 Imperial Shuttle Tydirium over the last few days. I'd say it was a 50/50 effort. Wow. What an impressive set! I'll always be bummed that I missed out on the UCS version. This is a great set though. Definitely a winner.6 points

Not LEGO but oh well Built an Oyo Backyard Hockey set. Found it on sale at TRU for $12 (RRP $30). My four year old is obsessed with ice hockey so why not?5 points

YMMV, but one of our LUG members discovered Dimensions at a 99 cents only store in Brea, CA. No idea if this is at all stores, or just a random one-off.5 points

Picked up a sealed box of Batman Movie CMF. These things are getting way too expensive. I miss the $3 per price. I seriously doubt these will have demand down the road to meet the supply. My 2 kids can open packs to share a set and the rest will be sold (2 sets).5 points

Well I followed what @Fleck had done and stopped by the Walmart by my work and asked the manager on duty if they would sell the 7 x 75148 for $20ea and the remaining 3 x 70592 for $15ea. The manager politely said he couldn't go lower on 75148 right now but would give me the 70592's for $15 ea. So ended up with those and also found 3 x 30447 for $2.00ea.5 points

I don't think all these dimensions packs being at dollar stores is a good thing at all. I can't believe Lego would let this happen. This is the kind of thing that makes the brand look like worthless garbage. Why wouldn't Lego just destroy them rather than have their brand devalued like this?4 points

That pic was after I loaded up my basket with about 30 of the Scooby Doos. Got a cart and loaded the rest up. About 100 that I found on the Scooby Doo.4 points

Daughter built this set today: 41307 Olivia's Inventor Lab. What a great little set! Looks so good in person ... and those robots have a ton of personality. Lid of the box is a printed tile, most other items are stickers. Here are the three robots. Fun to see the baby bottle used again, and the azure tools are pretty unique too: What I found really clever is that the two bigger robots use a lever piece to balance themselves when they are free-standing, but my daughter immediately figured out that those levers act as charging plugs when docked - see here: An amazing little set (RRP $9.99, I got mine for slightly over $5 from KMart).4 points

Dimensions fun packs have been great for me, at least to boost my selling volume to get to TRS status on EBay (I'm only a few sales away now). Can't say they are big money makers, but a few dollars every time and I get to keep all the non-minifig pieces for future use.3 points

I finally got around to building my used 10178 Motorized AT- AT purchased 2 years ago. I'll post more about it in the 10178 topic. In the meantime, here is the finished build compared to what I think is the best AT- AT based on current value, 8017 from 2010. 8017 gives you a lot bang for the buck compared to the 75055 one. Here's a comparison pic of 10178 and 8012. 10178 is about 1 inch higher. Getting a apples to apples height (all 4 legs straight) comparison is tough w/ o taking apart the 10178. Trust me, 10178 is taller.3 points

I feel your pain,@AirborneAFOL: I have 2100 transactions, and I really stewed over my one neutral. I've come to believe neutral/negative feedback is unavoidable no matter how good you are. As a frequent eBay buyer, I look at a seller's feedback if it is 97 or lower. Buyers can tell when neutral/negative feedback is significant or not. If I saw feedback of a buyer complaining about a box for a listing titled "No Box," I would dismiss it out of hand. The sea of positive feedback mentioning 'fast shipping' or 'great packaging' tell a more important story. Just 364 days until that neutral feedback all but disappears. [emoji3]2 points

Scooby Level Pack is the only way to get into that world for the foreseeable future. It's now retired. Anyone getting into the game now that wants that world will have to come to us.2 points
