I like it too, bought it pretty early on and have it sitting on my coffee table. Everyone that comes to visit, young or old, are drawn to and play with it5 points

You mean when your college-aged son makes a documentary about you for film school and you have to confess to having an attic full of those that "should have paid for your college"?3 points

About a week ago Lego sent an email out for the kids club that had instructions for this little vampire build. He goes great with the tru Frankenstein from today. I didn't have all the pieces for the vampire, but it was easy to modify a little bit. https://www.lego.com/en-us/club/member/building-instructions/details/dracula-f492b1e7a15e4dd9bc6d9321ab29fd453 points

Oh yeah then you should buy all of those at us $ 119 and lower from Amazon USA and drop ship them to Europe. good luck. I will still stand by us $ 150 as a ceiling you haven't looked at 30320 it reached 49,99 I.e. Over 12X RRP so this is nothing3 points

Even more important: how heavy is the next gate? Minimum sales quota? Stricter performance metrics? Amazon can change the rules suddenly without any notice. That should leave us all a bit concerned IMO.3 points

My first post after lurking for some time. This may be of interest to a certain person at least. Tesco has reduced the price of set 60124 (Volcano Exploration Base) to £44.99. It was £49.49 yesterday. Made the deal so good that i had to get some after spending what i thought was all my money yesterday. http://www.tesco.com/direct/lego-city-volcano-exploration-base-60124/527-4164.prd?source=others2 points

Anyone else having trouble getting feedback on Brickclassifieds? I usually ask for feedback from buyers, but haven't gotten any in a long time. Just made a sale to a moderator here on BP a few days ago, and asked him for feedback. He said he had already left it. Yet I still see nothing new in my feedback profile. (Don't want to "out" the buyer but his username rhymes with "egg cider won").2 points

Mobile can't vote or see the choices, so beyond my Scrapple suggestion, I'm going to say discounts to exclusives. I remember how excited we all were when the UCS TIE got discounted a couple months ago.2 points

Hey guys - really had a good time reading all the updates yesterdays. Some of the posts getting a little off topic now. Hate to be that guy but can you put set comparison, strategies "questions" etc in the relavant thread please? After all the recent doom and gloom posts (bubble, retiring soon but down beat) this thread made a great change mind (sorry to the guys on the continent who couldn't take advantage)! If your 1a deal wasn't there hit the 1b (and 1c and 1d for some). Sad but actually made my day (was having a stinker). Truly was what the fun part of all this is about. So great reading yesterday - but can we try to make this thread as deal related as possible? Thanks guys!2 points

I sometimes pick them up at 50-75% off. Not for investment though. I like to have small stuff like that around in case some of my nephews or sons friends come over to give them or I give them to my kids school prize bucket. if it helps my nephews not touch my Lego sets $5.00 is totally worth it. Plus there are so many kids in their family they really appreciate any gifts even nexo Knights2 points

The falling pound has been a killer for me, my UK customers have practically vanished over night. It means a cheaper buy in for amazon items, which might take up some of the slack but not by much. Also it has dragged EU prices down across the board. UK sellers listing in pounds means they're under cutting everyone else savagely. Things like SSD have dropped quite a bit and it's stalled growth on a lot of other big sets. Add the many new sellers getting on board and it's not a good mix.1 point

It's a cute set. I remember the movie vagely from my youth. It was not exactly my cup of tea. Now Lego has put the 'retiring soon' tag on it. I will pass for sure.1 point
