Picked up a used with box and manual 10175 UCS Vader TIE for $365. I sold my first own for a nice profit (only paid $90- should have kept it) and wanted another one since.5 points

Guaranteed to see Willis, and likely to see Hancock. Disagree on "iconic-ness" of Sears/Willis - for 25 years it was the tallest building in the world. For arch/engineer nerds, it was also the first building to utilize "bundled tube" structural design that is the basis for all modern skyscraper design - Burj Khalifa, Jeddah Tower, etc. Betting we'll see Willis, Hancock, Marina Towers and a smaller building like the Beaux-Artes style Field Museum or Art Institute. An outside the box choice would be a Ferris Wheel (the first and most iconic was at 1893 Worlds Fair in Chicago). If they had a sense of humor, they would include the "bean" (aka Cloud Gate) as a single silver stud.4 points

A 4 year old little boy sitting in the theater in 1977 would never have imagined this. At least this one couldn't have imagined this. I really cannot wait.4 points

the more I watch, the less I start to like how the brits have taken over the entire thing. Back in the old times, during a much simpler time, the brits were the imperials and annoying droids, and the americans were the rebels. Sure, there was Obi-wan. But, NOW it's like an all british cast. I'm starting to wonder if this is a foreign film, or one made out of hollywood. That's it. I'm voting for Trump. He's been right all along.3 points

Right. Because I haven't spent enough money the past two weeks. And the D**n Disney castle is coming out Wednesday too. I ran into Walmart on my way home and left 50% off Star Wars and Mixels on the shelf. stick a fork in me, I'm done.3 points

So I didn't get around to a pic yet button I did get the Statue of Liberty for 700. It is the first edition one black and white box, and they started to build it- got about 1/4 the way through. The rest of the bricks are either in ziplock bags or the original plastic mesh bags. Instructions are in nice shape but wow are they hard to follow. Still working on other builds, so this one may need to wait until the fall. The good news is that it is heavy- which leads me to believe it is complete. Coupled with the fact that evrwything is is in such good condition, I like my chances.3 points

To be honest, the galaxy is quite large, that seeing new vehicles, characters or ships should be a given. The u-wing seems like it's just a dropship that carries ground troops. In a New Hope, there weren't any scenes that required that.3 points

Do it now before the prices go higher and you have second thoughts about it.3 points

I like that they're coming out with another Monster Truck. It will go nicely with the red and green versions from the recent sets. I also appreciate having a Duel of the Fates set, although at $29.99 it will be woefully undersized and insignificant. How many bakeries does Stephanie need? All that food and no heavy people in Heartlake City, what a crock.3 points

I don't agree with you on your take on the Chicago skyline, as it is one of the most interesting in the country. Although, I will agree with you that these cityscape sets look like they very much are a replica of some cheesy vegas casino that is also a replica of a city. Now that you have labeled it that way, I will forever look at these sets that way! And it fits!2 points

Some real good shots of Star Destroyer. I really liked those views. I think it looks interesting and just seeing that shot of Vader is worth the price of admission2 points
