  1. Today I built a custom display shelf for my Toy Story Minifigures! Whilst getting the sets out of storage I built some with my son. Enjoy the pics!
  2. Me: "Each of my 3 children need their own, or they'll fight over it." Retailer: "Um, Sir, your kids here are all under 3 years old, I have to warn you LEGO would be a choking hazard for them..." Me: "Stop judging me!"
  3. My son finally finished his Kylo Ren's Shuttle. It was more difficult for him than the other builds he has done I would say (he is 6). I was surprised how big the finished product is and I like it better overall than expected. Too bad they didn't get to do the wings correctly.
  4. That's what they said about the Vampyre Castle as well.
  5. Case of Series 16 minifigs for $40 after reward
  6. Some speculation that got me a little excited over on Brickset. "If Thrawn's Star Destroyer's name is the Chimaera, like in Legends, then I really hope that this is the next Star Destroyer set. It would be a good opportunity to give us Grand Admiral Thrawn and Admirals Titus and Konstantine (and perhaps Govenor Pryce) in minifigure form. The Skystrike Academy could also be an opportunity to give us new TIE Bombers and Interceptors, as they are well overdue remakes."
  7. Hey look at that...an eBay Bucks thread!

He also did this UCS style Rey's Speeder
  9. Smug B##tard You should have posted that in the "You know you're a Lego investor when" thread. As in you know you're a Lego investor when you're on the beach in the Seychelles and can't get off your bloody phone.
  10. Well...I finally found all the pieces...a couple off color but still looks amazing I think. It took my son and I 7 hours with 3 slight rebuilds until we got the balance right. Yes, it is tricky getting it to stand! Let me know what you all think. #legodad
  11. I love how Jet says "we don't like resellers, but hey, buy three." Sure, cause that's normal...
  12. I want Captain Pellaeon too please
  13. Amazon 41063 - Princess: Ariel's Undersea Palace - $31.69 (42% off) 3rd Party 21020 - Architecture: Trevi Fountain - $39.22 (22% off)

    Welcome back!
  15. Nice! I bought 10173 NISB for $250 off craigslist a few years ago so we could have a lego xmas train going around the tree. Never got around to building it and then the price went to $800+ I could not do it. Sold it for $850 on ebay May 2015. At $100 happy to build it and have it whizzing around the tree.
  16. dutch canal houses by deborah higdon - buildings blockd
  17. I am still waiting for a UCS BB-8 to go along with the R2-D2. Now that will jack the price up for 10225
  18. I just want Spongebob to come back from Mega Blok hell.
  19. Of course... Vader didn't even find Obi Wan even though he was hanging out a few miles from Uncle Owen's house. He didn't even find his son for that matter.
  20. That's not the set.
  21. Add: multiply the number of sellers by $5, and add that total to the price of the pieces before you compare.
  22. Got to say this whole Big W thing is bullsh*t. They should have just had 20% off to start with.

I truly I miss the days of not knowing who news channels supported.
  24. I don't know how to make those fancy links. I'm not really a fancy kinda so... LEGO Architecture Venice 21026 $21.95 (27% off/save $8.04) https://www.amazon.com/LEGO-6135677-Architecture-Venice-21026/dp/B017B19CX6 LEGO Architecture Berlin 21027 $21.95 (27% off/save $8.04) https://www.amazon.com/LEGO-6135675-Architecture-Berlin-21027/dp/B017B198E4
  25. Once they release the images, we might be wishing it was that set.
  26. Amazon 60050 - City: Train Station - $40.98 (37% off)
  27. Were the JW dinos new molds? If so, LEGO has some molds now they can reuse for their own dinosaur line if they don't have the build license. And timing that new line around the release of JW2 (if the first line was a cash cow for them) would be obvious.

I always get the Ebay Bucks offer except when I have Ebay Bucks to spend. Coincidence?
  29. Yes, it is the Arvo Brother's design. Very temperamental on positioning. It literally fell apart three times. I had to reinforce the feet as the heals would disconnect with minimal rear pressure. The arms, head, leg, and tail have to be in just the right positions. The Brothers do mention this but I didn't realize just how critical it is! I actually had to reposition as I built to ensure balance at each limb addition. Note to others, position matters! Enjoy!

Ok, apologies if these have already been posted but I've been away for a while. Excellen Star Wars models all built by Robert Lundmark. Ive selected a few but there are loads more photos on his flickr.
  31. I can't speak for anyone else but I'm on a beach in the Seychelles hehe

I know it would make no sense as a LEGO property, but when I first glanced at that picture I was pumped because I thought it was the guitar player from Fury Road.
  33. The average buyer out there has no idea what bricklink is or how to even go about piecing together a set, common white pieces or not. R2D2 will be fine.
  34. Thx, QF-ing is slowing down already, slower every hour but hey, sold full sets for $130 each and singles for $10 each plus shipping. For that money I'll quick flip, slow flip and even flip somebody if needed got free bionicles at TRU per their offer plus used 15% discounted gift cards, at Lego got regular 5% VIP and used a NEXO coupon from the calendar.
  35. At TRU looked like whole box of 60 was untouched so I grabbed it (shooshed at home) and Lego store had limit of 32 so I felt for few bananas and got help with couple penguin suit guys and just grabbed ransoms to reach 32. Already sold 2 complete sets and 10 singles, suprisingly sold only one banana guy out of those 10, so far best is penguin suit guy (3sold) and babysitter (3 sold). One imp sold, one ice queen and one serenader.

  39. Try again, it was actually set for 30 miles.. You should see some results now.. Who is the programmer here? Fire them
  40. Early box art and product description has bean leaked for the new and improved 2016 Holiday Train: Rescue the holiday train from certain doom! Like the rest of the city, the holiday train is on fire! Fly in for the rescue with the fire helicopter! Help the brave firefighters rescue the passengers, pets and all the holiday gifts! Put out the flames with the special water stud shooter! Be a hero and save the holiday train before it crashes into the Winter Village! Includes 3 brave firefighters. 1 terrified engineer, 2 frightened conductors, and 3 scared passengers. Also includes a cat. And a rat. Position the helicopter to make daring passenger rescues. Save the tricycle, skateboard, books and other presents from the inferno. Accessory elements include 24 flame pieces (we've produced a lot of these), fire extinguishers and water studs. Complete train measures over 45" (115cm) long and includes a holiday-themed locomotive, tender, and passenger car with removable roof - all of which can easily appear to be ablaze. Train can be motorized with a #10153 9v Train Motor and #4548 Speed Regulator. 9v motor, speed regulator and track are not included and are no longer produced but can be found on ebay or BrickLink.
  41. I don't see how it's whizzing around the tree for only $99.99 retail. Maybe it doesn't come with tracks, but the cheapest motorized train in the last 6 years was 7938 (the red passenger train) at $129.99 but then the new 60051 (high-speed) one came along in 2014 at $149.99.

My wife's account got this email. Mine didn't. I don't know why we get different emails. I guess I buy most of the Lego under her name.

  45. The figure is about 19" and the base is about 1.5". Pretty tall and gangly! [emoji12]
  46. It's the old buy.com.
  47. If these are hitting the market already, maybe the Disney figures are done.
