I've had many inquiries, thanks to everyone! The collection has been sold, and I'm working with the buyer to arrange delivery. Thanks again to everyone, that was really quick. I actually had several offers in excess of my $12,500 asking price. I didn't accept them as 1) I had been working a deal with a buyer prior to this, and 2) I felt $12,500 was the fair price which leaves enough room for the buyer to make some profit on this collection. After all, that's one of the reasons we're all here. Thanks again, now I have to start packing things up.

I sold the beat up box tower bridge I picked up the other day for $200. Not too interesting but I did sell it on a new site (new to me) Nextdoor.com. It's a message board website for neighborhoods. It has a classified section. I don't think I will list any thousand dollar SSDs there but it might be good for small and used stuff. It's also great for getting local recommendations. It's gotten so expensive to sell online, love seeing a new local source beside craigslist. It's much more personalized than CL too so I don't expect the garbage responses I sometimes get on CL.

I am really sorry to read that you are going through this. I hope that your treatments go extremely well and you go into remission sooner than later.

Finally, I found the time to build a little bit today. It's Battle on Takodana with some Jedis visiting Maz while the bad guys are out of town. Thankfully, there were only two stickers in need of application and the banner is made of some kind of fabric. Also, most of the parts and bricks seem to be easily repurposed for MOCs.

I'm down in STL but from Chicago. I wish I could go this weekend. I'll have to plan ahead for next year.

I agree .. the set itself is mediocre so the raptors are the only thing carrying it. I agree with newbie and $150 will be it's upper limit... maybe you get the swing of $160 on Amazon, $140 on eBay (or so) but I can't see it hitting $200.

Sorry to hear about that. Life sometimes kicks you down, and then you have to pick yourself back up again. It sucks when times like that happen.. My wife is from your town, and I love going to ABQ. Best food in the country, IMO. I always gain 5 lbs when I go visit her family. Anyway, glad to see it was sold. I was about to offer taking a few sets off your hands, but glad you were able to sell it.

We finished 75102 Poe's X-wing a couple of days ago, our first X-wing to build. My son loves it because it has 6 different things that shoot. It was a pretty fun build, but I still don't think we are going to rush out and buy the Resistance X-Wing as well. The kids are working on the Phantom while I am at work today.

Very happy with this purchase. Still can't believe my luck. In great condition. Only missing a few pieces which I have already ordered from bricklink. Super Star Destroyer next!

I'm calling it now. These will actually perform better than 90% of the other superhero sets out there. If there is a series 2, even better.

I don't trust any Superheroes sets anymore. Of course there will be winners, but with the proliferation of figures being re-used in different sets and the fakes being imported by the billion, I'm steering clear of them. This is probably one of the better ones that has come around lately, though. I still need to see the movie, though, and can't really form a truly informed decision until then.

6344 Jet Speed Justice from 1993. I'm helping out a fellow LUG member who wants to rebuild a ton of sets he has in storage. Everything is complete and bagged and instructions are included. Makes life pretty easy.

21017 Imperial Hotel "Fun build" is not usually associated with the architecture line but the Imperial Hotel build was a thoroughly enjoyable experience and not too repetitive. I would have liked more architect information in the manual because I do not know as much about this set as I do for the other architecture sets.

Trench run. I would have preferred clear supports for the ships, but still an excellent build

Not sure if my pics really do it justice but i got my final bricklink order in to complete a Helms deep and uruk hai army lot that I got 95% complete. Also added another Uruk hai army and went slightly overboard on eBay getting a few more elves, orcs and wargs to flesh it out. Massive LOTR fan and these make a great display piece IMO - just wish i had more room to fully do it justice

I still prefer the 1st Turbo Tank (If I performed a crash test with the others, it would surely win). The Mace (Light-up or non Light-up) & Kashyyyk (w/ that cool speeder) were great minifigs.
