  8. Basically, yeah. With a €50 set that's clearanced to €20, generally means it's on it's way out and they're not really going to be able to easily find availablity of the set. If someone sees that the RRP is €50 and they're getting it for €40, they think they get a bargain. I'm happy with turning €20 in to €40 and then that €40 might become a Wall-E or Doctor Who as an example. I can give you a few examples, I bought an Ultra Agents Helicopter for €30, sold it for €55 the next week, RRP €70, or The Lego Movie Rescue Reinforcements, bought it for €30, sold it a few weeks later for €57.50, again RRP was €70. Means that I keep the cash flow ticking over, so when I find sets which I've marked as planned buys, I have more money to spend.
  9. 39 Drawer Stack-On Organizer $14 at Sears
  10. No longer a rumor per brickset:
  11. Some good reductions from Smyths on architecture sets.
  12. Finally bought a Slave 1 at TRU with 20% and 10% and Gift Card Partial pay. Also got free Captain America cycle.
  13. Tried this but I must have the most efficient fulfillment center in history. They said it was too late
  14. Thank you to Brick Picker Member Wolvergeek for coming to my garage sale today. His purchase has made my wife extremely happy. Thank you
  15. In case anyone missed it, the Formula Off Road Racer switched to 27% off on Sunday night, if memory serves: http://www.amazon.com/LEGO-6100253-Technic-Formula-Off-Roader/dp/B00NHQHK1G?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=ox_sc_sfl_title_1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER

  17. I think the Sandcrawler wins the comparision....:
  18. This set makes Weathertop look like UCS.
  19. Classic Batcave for $245 @ eBay. Tempted to buy this myself so I'm putting it here hoping someone removes the temptation. http://www.ebay.com/itm/LEGO-Batman-Classic-TV-Series-Batcave-Set-76052-DC-Comics-Super-Heroes-NEW-/152088675968?hash=item2369310680:g:0-0AAOSwWntXM2Dz
  20. It is a great set., I should have bought 20 of them, not 10!
  21. Now hard to find listings below RRP on ebay or bricklink - I think I may have been wrong about this one and that its performance will be better than crawler or unimog despite being very hoarded as there seems to be demand.
  22. Looks like a nice start to a set and then they just stopped. There have been a lot of sets like that recently.
  23. Well they got the "Chaos" part right. I am honestly confused.
  24. That's what happens when it's only half a set a-la-carbon-freezing chamber. Stairs and a door to nowhere.
  25. It's the same build as a cheap friends set that was like a kiddie pool.
  26. The whole set isn't too impressive.
  27. Public Library, Main View by Johan van den Heuvel
  28. Only if you buy now
  29. Soooo...... in another 2 hours will it go down further? Well I went ahead and ordered a couple so that it would trigger a price change.
  30. I wouldn't really call that a poll. They only looked at the original reviews at the time of release. If you visit Rotten Tomatoes now, when you can view everything in context, the prequel trilogy doesn't fare as well, even The Force Awakens takes it down. http://www.rottentomatoes.com/search/?search=star+wars Don't forget this gem.

  33. Just found and supported this new (since May 9th) submission: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/140859 It's not perfect, and I think a Lego Designer can improve on it, but it's a good start. Would love to have Donald Duck's 313 car next to the minifig!
  34. Wish i could pre order this for delivery June 1. Whoever gets the serial number 0000000911 is a lucky beggar.

  37. Just putting a note out there that I am waiting on an updated data for the US from last month+. File was way too small to be accurate, that is what is holding up the price guide update. I will let you all know when I started processing it all.
  38. To the Quick Flip mobile!
  39. All hail to mighty emazers!!!! We are not worthy.......we are not worthy!!!!!!!!
  40. The correct move with 20/20 hindsight, which Emazer and many others did, was to flip the Crawlers and reinvest in Town Halls,SSD´s, HH´s or 7965´s - especially if discounted. It´s interesting that some people followed a similar strategy with Town Hall of buying at double MSRP and expecting the growth curve to maintain itself and that hread has sure gone quiet so I guess they are not making money yet. If the gap between 9398 and 41999 starts to narrow, there could be a further bump for the LE, but for now it seems to have settled in at slightly above double RRP, which is what it was worth back in 2014. TH and HH have also bedded in at current prices since last year so it´s clearly a market for the very impatient or the very patient.
  41. Check the Walmart May 2016 thread (mobile can't link)
  42. Yes, meant to post earlier but the Meijer near me also had the Tower for 25% off but then another 25% off that and THEN another 20% off that with the mperks coupon on a marvel lego set. Plus I got another $4 off if I spent $35 or more. PLUS I had a $5 reward for spending $55 or more on Toys from a previous trip. PLUS they had monster mini figures for $2.99 a piece so cleared 10 of those out. Got everything for $53 and change. However, left some ninjago marked down between 15-25% off but also had the 25% stacked - just couldn't pull the trigger on those though. Maybe they'll go down to the 50% off that baschloinka saw. Kind of love being in that magical land surrounded by copious Walmarts, a few Meijer, and several Shopkos all within an 1.5 hours drive. Not quite the Land Before Time that exciter lives in but still damaging enough to the productivity.
  43. My boy started this a couple weeks ago but only got about 15 pcs in...I wanted to finish it up yesterday and here's the end result. This time used the GS7 Edge for convenience sake, as well as being rather impressed after seeing the macro images it can produce.
  44. How many times have people to be told, jumping on Lego sets is a bad idea, the boxes get squashed.
  45. Not sure if my pics really do it justice but i got my final bricklink order in to complete a Helms deep and uruk hai army lot that I got 95% complete. Also added another Uruk hai army and went slightly overboard on eBay getting a few more elves, orcs and wargs to flesh it out. Massive LOTR fan and these make a great display piece IMO - just wish i had more room to fully do it justice
