  1. I put this together myself tonight. SDCC2015-3 Action Comics #1 I Bricklinked the parts. The roof is a change out, since that piece, in green, only exists in the original set. Superman is from the Dimensions Fun Pack. As a huge Superman fan, this was pretty cool to build. Hugely iconic to me.

  6. Did you buy any of this item? Doesn't that make you part of the horde? Why do you hate yourself and everyone else? Why did you create a new profile instead of keeping all of your negativity contained to the mscheaf profile? Troll on, mscheaf.

  12. I think this thread lost mojo now. Nowadays, even if a set really retires, so what? Doesn't mean much anymore. This retiring soon discussion only drives the hoard to go crazy on some soon-to-be-hot sets. But that becomes more of a trap than an opportunity now. I would just go buy the sets I really like and forget about this retiring soon stuff. I will come back to see the sets performance after maybe 2 years after retirement.

  15. Trek does not know what is acceptable or not but hope someone comes through for you ..... I have no Kwik E Mart's and I do not have the cash to buy every set known to man even at 50 percent off there is a limit somewhere and the half off sales have been coming left and right. That is on top of the fact that my region in 150 miles has none and did not yesterday either. So in any event best of luck and hope someone comes through.

  19. You have been given some very bad advice my friend. It as against amazon policy to create your "own" case packs. You may slide by a few times (or not) but eventually you will get banned. Case packs are only to be used for items that are case packed directly from the manufacturer (in the case of lego those boxes with the purple and black striping on the outside). You said you wanted to ship 6 of one item to one warehouse? Easy. Make your shipping plan for one of the item so it has to go to one warehouse. After you create the shipping plan you can modify each item by up 6 units (so change the number to 6). This will allow you to send all 6 to one warehouse without breaking the rules. My advice with amazon is don't try and bend the rules. They do not need 3P sellers at all, and they will not be taking on new, or keeping all existing, 3P sellers in the future either. Follow the rules, above all make THEIR customers happy no matter the cost, and long term Amazon will make your wallet very happy.

  21. Got this set used, well below retail price. Not so pleased with the shipping box, but for the price I didn't complain much... Its been about a week and half now and I seem to still have a bunch of pieces left over. All the pieces came mixed in, so no number bags. If I couldn't find a piece after a certain time frame I'd move over to the next step. Somewhat of a frustrating build for me. Still a working process, but she is getting there. Just happy to be an owner of this amazing set.

  22. 30+ more lbs of loose bulk for $225 + shipping. I bought the lot for $75, picked out the minifigures / accessories and non Lego junk. And It all came with one of these that I kept.

  23. I'm actually pretty hyped for Rogue One, especially after seeing the trailer. I'm positive after seeing the Force Awakens on opening day, and from what i'm seeing for Rogue One and for Ep 8, that we are back in a golden age reminiscent of that time when I was a kid during the late 70's - early 80's. Sure the movies have some flaws, but they are fun again, and it's hard to whip rotten tomatoes at these, because Disney seems to be doing the series a little justice now, and I don't think i'd have ever felt that would happen when they bought out Lucas. I find myself devouring star wars information as it comes out. Those minifigs look great by the way. To me the revealing of those 5 sets is all I care about from Lego at this point. I'll probably buy every one.

  26. after messaging to confirm order and address before shipping and giving them a chance to come to their senses before I shipped it to Alaska (not kidding), the buyer asked to cancel the order to which i obliged. phewsh - i didn't want to sell for less than 3X MSRP - now i can go back to using an upgraded 4x msrp place holder to monitor the prices on amazon easily with other for sale inventory .

  27. I think it's time for a mass online petition to lego re: stickers. Lego is supposed to be a premium product. Premium products should not have 50 stickers. With EEE, they crossed another line as well, with stickers that spanned multiple pieces. Yucko.

  29. Ok - curious to hear what they say. I'd say that by them giving you proof that this product was shipped onwards from the destination you sent it to, they have waived any return claims. But I want to hear Amazon's response to be able to know for sure.

  30. You will be covered. Here is Amazon policy on freight forwarders: About Freight Forwarders and Hand Carry Using a freight forwarder to ship or hand-carrying items internationally may result in complications not covered by Amazon. If a freight forwarder or hand-carrying is used, the following terms will apply: Amazon won't be responsible for damage, defect, material difference, or loss that occurs to goods after they're delivered to you or a freight forwarder. This means that Amazon isn't able to provide a replacement of, or refund for, any such goods delivered to you or a freight forwarder. You should refuse goods that arrive damaged and instruct freight forwarders to do the same, and goods lost after being received by you or the freight forwarder will be your responsibility. If you (or a freight forwarder you so designate) have a U.S. address, purchase goods from Amazon.com to be shipped to a U.S. location, and then subsequently export the goods, you or the designated freight forwarder are considered the exporter and are solely responsible for compliance with all export and import regulations, including all U.S. export regulations and the import regulations of the destination country. Amazon must not be listed on any export documentation (e.g., export declarations, invoices, packing lists, air waybills, etc.). It is your responsibility to ensure the freight forwarder's most up-to-date U.S. address is used. If you (or a freight forwarder you so designate) do not have a U.S. residence and purchase goods from Amazon.com to be shipped to a U.S. location, you or the designated freight forwarder may not subsequently export the goods without prior written authorization from Amazon. Products that cannot be exported directly from Amazon.com, which you export yourself or through a freight forwarder may not be returned directly to Amazon. Visit Search for Items Eligible for International Shipping to find items that can be exported directly from Amazon.com. Products offered for export directly from Amazon.com, which you export yourself or through a freight forwarder may be returned to Amazon, provided that you are responsible for acting as the importer of record and all the costs associated with returning the goods to Amazon. Amazon will not serve as the importer of record on returns that were originally exported by you or a freight forwarder. You may locate Amazon's return address by using the Online Returns Center and viewing the Return Mailing Label. Note: International return labels will not be issued for items sent through a freight forwarder or hand carry. The Return Mailing Label is for U.S. domestic shipments only. In order to use an Amazon pre-paid Return Mailing Label, you must first return the eligible goods to a U.S. address. Then, use the Return Mailing Label to return the goods to the Amazon fulfillment center listed on the Return Mailing Label from that U.S. address. In addition, you become the exporter and importer of record of the shipment; title and risk of loss transfer to Amazon upon receipt of the goods at Amazon's fulfillment

  31. This set has done well but like alot of other retired exclusives the price does seem to be going in the wrong direction now. Hold in the hopes things turn around in a few years, or dump and move into more sure things? That is what makes reselling challenging and fun.

  32. Whats wrong with this? Items often sell at a high premium before their official release date. I would add that while I don't understand the reasoning behind the people who buy overpriced items from me, I would never call them stupid. They find some satisfaction in buying stuff just the same as I do in selling.

  34. @Phil B I hate to say it but if we go back to your Inception thread, the last post besides yours ended late March. They must have had a mole here knowing we were onto something so they stopped the promos...well at least till May 2nd when our bucks expire I was just thinking about this yesterday...relatively frustrating, it's like we jinxed ourselves by actually talking about it. Sorry for the continuation of the OT...back to meager deals.

  35. Could not agree more. I cashed in on all my beloved Lego & Pokemon card collection when I was a teen... I regret it big time. I'd recommend keeping at least one or two of his favourite sets - he'll thank you for it one day!

  36. I hate to break it to you, but you are being played. I taught my kids early on. The answer is ALWAYS "No". They don't even ask because they know my policy on impulse items. If you hear a toddler begging and screaming about a last minute candy bar or small toy, it's not my kid. I observed enough of these antics while I was serving my time in retail to know that I NEVER wanted that to be my kid. The only one who gets everything they want when they want it is me.

  38. Good grief, this is incredibly spot-on to the game material. I mean all the other Minecraft sets matched the source very well but this, holy cow. A Library, a small house (some reason called watchtower in the video), a larger house, a Blacksmith's forge, a well, and something unique to the set not from the game with a trading post. This offers essentially everything in the realm of Minecraft just as The Mine does but now at the ground level of it all. A Zombie, Zombie Villager, Enderman, and Creeper cover most of the mobs, a Farmer and Librarian are two essential Villagers for trade & whatnot, Steve and Alex being the two players should be here, and of course every Village need an Iron Golem (although technically there should be a lot more Villagers before he would natively spawn). I knew LEGO molded the heads for the Villagers however did not expect for them to sport unique torsos as well but they really came through on the design with flying color. Now considering they released a smaller single set simply revolving around the Iron Golem, I imagine there shall be a few future sets to include different Villagers.
