Found this used on Wednesday for $40 (along with a used 9444 Cole's Tread Assault)...We'll see how many pieces are missing. There were 13 sealed bags and several open ones, so it seems like most are present. My son and I have been wanting to build an At-at and figured it would be 75054, so this was a pleasant surprise.

Sorry to continue to derail, but I stumbled across this one today and it's had me cracking up all morning. I'm easily amused I guess, but I could totally see me or some friends doing this in a past life.

The toy packaging was revealed today... Not too shabby, I suppose.

I had to get all those in before Alpine woke up and started modding me.

I think I could have gotten an entire sealed case of S14 the other day at Target - there was one thrown on a shelf somewhere completely sealed and the barcode rang up the price of a single one .... but my internal sense of right vs wrong didn't allow me to even consider trying this on a rookie cashier.

My store had Batcave 76052. This is the Only TRU store that carry 76052. I believe I bought more than 6 already. All with 20% off and 10% TRU CC. Around $195 after all discount.

You would think that the general 10%-20% premium in price would cover any excess shrinkage problems they might be having.

Last night was wall-e build but not grabbed a photo yet. Tonight was my first architecture set. I must admit the Ideas and Architecture sets have such a premium feel compared with most sets, even the UCS sets.

Today I had some fun building Merlok's Library 2.0 (70324) from everyone's favourite theme. For some reason, I only found this set available at LEGO LEGO Shop at Home. Originally, I only wanted the set for one minifigure: Ava Prentis. The Crust Smasher was of no use to me and is already packed for retail. I also considered selling off Lance but he grew on me and looks like a keeper now. It took me about an hour to build the set. In my opinion, the final result doesn't resemble a library at all but I assume that it's true to the look in the animated show. As I will disassemble Merlok's Library 2.0 again and don't see a use for those transparent orange pieces yet I refrained from applying the stickers. There are quite a few useful parts for future-MOCs. These include several printed pieces exclusive to this set (the black slope and the round 2x2 tile are available elsewhere AFAIK).

Just found a lonely 75019 at clearance at my walmart.. find it in the back store. paid 90.

My first Slave 1 75060 for $131 (TRUTH 20% + 10% + 15% GC).

After hunting around the area came up with 4 silver centurions, an Iron Patriot and a Jurassic world poly...........

I just watched the BTTF documentary "Back in Time" on Netflix last night. Some of it was pretty cheesy, but for the most part if you're a BTTF fan you'll enjoy it! That was my thinking as well. And it was a mom selling off her kids Lego collection that was no longer being played with. I already got it and it's about 100lbs (I don't have a scale but each box feels to be no lighter than 20 lbs). And out of two boxes that I've sorted so far- there's maybe 2lbs of minfigs and accessories ranging from Harry Potter, spongebob, Star Wars, dinosaurs, and random city people. Plus there's a decent amout of partial builds that will be helpful to look up online and see what sets I can try to find within the lot, one being part of a Harry Potter set. I can't wait to get to the other 3 boxes tonight and sort!

I live in Germany and drive over to the Netherlands and Belgium for Lego all the time - and I've found some fantastic deals and long gone set there. So the deals are there - you just have to look carefully and be prepared to do some legwork. I usually combine my Belgium trips with french wine shopping (often at half the price of what I would pay overhere) so double win.

Can't wait for this minifig.
