  7. Ok, so I'm posting this for Lego Rules since he inquired. Everything I ordered shipped... I'm too embarrassed to say the exact quantity, but needless to say it was over 10 each of the Exo, truck and train... and they all shipped, so there seems to be no rhyme or reason to Walmart Ban Hammer like Lego.com...

  14. You need to upload tracking through eBay, better yet purchase shipping through eBay and it will upload automatically. For any item under $750 if tracking shows delivered you should be covered. As the buyer has already contacted you I would call eBay and let them know what's up. Also if you shipped USPS don't be surprised if the item gets delivered in the next few days, sometimes they get ahead of themselves with marking packages delivered.

  16. My curiosity got the best of me today and I bought the 6085 Black Monarch's Castle that has been sitting on Blinq.com for the past few weeks after they lowered the price dramatically. I'll be surprised, but pretty happy if a NISB set from the 1980s arrives at my doorstep for $400.

  24. Kids don't buy, parents do. I think LEGO still moves inside of a safety zone. Also you have to take into consideration that most sets are priced in a normal price range from 10-120. That's how it's always been. More expensive sets are out there too, but PR or BB or DS is not an everyday toy for everyone but either collectors treat OR the ultimate present for kids. (Or maybe just another present if the parents have enough money ;-)).

  26. In fact down here in Quebec, the law doesn't at all permit such an error " in store or on internet " http://www.torontosun.com/2015/02/10/price-error-on-sears-website-angers-quebecers "So far, Sears has refused to change its position, saying that the mistake was made in good faith and was simply a misplaced comma. "Sears has demonstrated good will by honouring numerous price errors," said Sears Canada vice-president communications Vincent Power. "However, this error was exceptional." That stance is not shared by Quebec's Office of Consumer Protection. "Our lawyers believe that the merchant must honour the posted price," said OCP communications director Charles Tanguay." I've had similar issue with Archambault, worng picture for AT-At and Micro At-at .. and I've won 6 sets 129.99$ for 12.99$ since the picture wasn't the good one, just a few days after Sears error.

  27. Well the law makes sense to a certain degree - you make a mistake, discover mistake, make reasonable effort to inform customers. Obviously the last time is subjective... Online purchasing takes the traditional model of shopping and changes it all - you never interact with a person so no reasonable effort to inform of a pricing mistake can occur. Frankly, the law should be changed to you "you make a mistake, you honor it" but it will never be, because, well, politics.

  28. We are continuing to push updates and fix page design to make the browsing experience a little easier to find what you are looking for. We will have a few updates to try and make finding sellers in your are a little easier. We completely changed the look of the Shop Local page to make it VERY easy to find sellers closer to where you live. https://www.brickclassifieds.com/find/local/ Below you will be able to see how many stores are currently in each region and then you will see the Top Stores within those regions. Hopefully this will make it a little easy to find a vendor near you.

  38. I made an announcement last week that you might not have seen that I have to basically completely rewrite everything based on changes in the data we get, so it's a work in progress. It will be straightened out over the next day or two. I have to change a ton of stuff. I do not know what you mean by the same for the Classified what "do not see any surplus anymore" means. It's a crap load of work I need to do and do it in stages. The new template for the price guide is a work in progress too that I was basically forced to make live early before getting it the way I want. Google has been barking at me for weeks because those other pages are not mobile friendly at all, etc, etc. Just give me a few more days to try and catch up. I wish I had all day to work on it, but now I need to switch gears and go to the office and work on totally different garbage.

  39. I do suspect sometimes that Jeff & Ed think "Why do we bother" when all we do is complain whenever they try something new I assume this is an update in progress. The UK prices do seem low. For example 10197 reads GBP203 USD380. I thought this might be a US price in £££ terms but it's not (380 / 1.53 is £248). I have noticed, something similar with other sets; 10193 & 10211 are both unusually down. I am wondering if the filtering of non set sales is not active. These lower prices do not correspond to what appears to be happening on Ebay UK. I agree with valenciaeric that putting back search box would be handy otherwise you are continually scrolling back and forward through pages. Time consuming if you are on a slow connection. When I used to hover over the graph points the price for that month used to pop up. Which was helpful. A last updated date would be nice (although this was not on the last version ) I disagree with valenciaeric in whether the graphs are useful. They are and I use them. I am missing the number of sales graph numbers graph. I am wondering if it could be combined with the Sales history graph to save space. Lastly, all the Amazon links say Amazon.com but each points to the correct Amazon site. This is particularly confusing for the EU sites that all use the Euro. All in all I think the new payout is an improvement on the old. It looks a lot less cluttered.

  40. I would venture to say that the US has had it good for a while now and that TLG are slowly trying to balance worldwide prices. 170 USD at an exchange rate of 1.12 USD/EUR brings you in line with the cheapest Eurozone prices whereas before many sets were at 1 USD / 1 EUR hence our endless moaning about preferential treatment as discounts also tend to be better over there. I think that apart from the RRP increase,it is the gradual trimmig of the latter that is making the product more expensive. However, it is supply and demand and if we benefit from it on the secondary market, TLG surely feels their product is underpriced on the new market. Perhaps when demand falls off and Lego becomes less fashionable, things will change but that would also be bad news for us. Higher new prices also make our inflated ones easier to swallow.

  41. So, once again, it escapes me what interest these good folk have in taking less than 30 euros from a sale after commissions. Still, as long as they go to real buyers, one less sealed box on the market.
