I've done a few 20's with no issue when limits are 99 and full price. If its clearance I've bumped it up some as generaly theory is they are trying to move product. yeah no way it holds once full release but 18-20 is feasible for people that don't have LEGO around and don't want to order but 1 set without making a $75 order for free shipping through LEGO Shop at Home they figure 10 + 6 + tax is about 18 so they will go for them even if in stock

Got the 10228 Haunted House last night from Amazon that I order maybe 2 weeks back. The box was opened previously. The seal was tampered with so I opened it up to check. 2 bags missing from 21 bags (1 bag 2 and 1 bag 3). Lego is shipping the missing parts to me after I gave them a call. I couldn't get myself to return it after HH made so much money for me this year. After talking to Amazon on chat, they gave me 30% off. I may end up building it in October then sell it after.

So just got back from Legoland and they had several RE on the shelf, I visit nearly weekly and they have had hardly any JW but this week they had quite a bit! So the seal codes were.....drum roll 20R15 ...... still shipping out the old sets! They either had them for a while and didn't put them out or Lego is still getting rid of all its stock! I picked up another 4!

I loved that movie as a kid, it is highly underrated in my opinion.

Goodwill is a charity, but, at what point do you draw the line? If I had received an equal value lamp, should I just try to sell that to recoup my money? The auction site does allow for returns if the item is SNAD. Which is what this came down to. Yes, I could have accepted a refund down from $225 to $111 (the difference in the two auctions), and then made an attempt to recover my costs. But what if I wasn't it in for the resell opportunities? Then I'd be stuck with a whole lot of stuff I didn't want. I'm not asking for anything outside of their rules for playing on the auction site. I'm just asking them to play by the same rules that they agree to play by.

Sold a 21303 Wall-E for $91 + shipping on ebay. After fees, etc, made about $29 profit =~ 57% (+ TRU rewards). I was gonna put this story in "what did you buy today", but I sold it too quick... 2 days ago, I was at my TRU where I met a fellow BP'er (I think). So anyway, I let it go... then I saw what he had in his hands... "They've got Wall-E here?!" He said yes, this was the last one, but he wasn't too sure about keeping it... looking at his phone some more... he then offered it to me. But I said, "Nah... I think I'll wait on this one... not sure that I really need to buy that right now." So he put it back on the shelf and walked out. I stood there and thought about it for another minute... decided to pick it up with my 20% off coupon (out the door $51). Wasn't sure it'd be a good flip right now, but thought we might build it at home. As I was going through checkout, I saw the mystery Brickpicker going back to the Lego section again (maybe he, too, changed his mind)? Anyway, I got home, and saw prices on ebay and... "flip, flip, flipadelphia!" So ... thank you mystery Brickpicker... I owe you one.

Yeah I got denied at TRU this week after getting denied on a Louvre purchase last week; quite the block tease. They will likely hold it for you if it happens though.

The price certainly won't stay at $25 when you can buy it at shop at home from 9.99 beginning sept 1. If I had 10 I'd sell them now and restock in a couple of days.

He's received 9 negatives this year (4 this month). I think you got off lucky. A lot better to get your money back right away then after he screws you some other way...

Maybe the usual long 2xVIP period (also) fell victim to the Star Wars frenzy. TLG know that everybody will be buying the new stuff like crazy anyway, so why give them 2x points on top? Could well be they fear their whole business (availability of sets) would collapse at this point in the year if they had a longer 2xVIP period - those 4 days will still be crazy, I guess.

Exactly what Migration said. Cancel the listing, making sure to select that the buyer asked to cancel. If the buyer decides to leave negative feedback, call eBay and ask them to look at the message from the buyer requesting to cancel the transaction. They will then remove the negative for you. eBay buyers can only request a cancellation about an hour after purchase. Beyond that time, the option goes away and they have to contact the seller to cancel it for them. I have cancelled around 5 listings for buyers that requested to cancel (latest one was 2 days ago) and have never received a defect against my seller performance ratings. On eBay sellers are not penalized for canceling a transaction at the request of a buyer. Amazon, on the other hand, will if the buyer doesn't initiate the cancellation process.

The "witch" is a dressed up little girl that apparently took notes from Britney Spears and shaved her head. Scarier I guess. This set is pretty decent although I agree that the pumpkins could have benefited with some printing. I really like the use of the grass on either side of the steps. Haven't built with those yet.
