X-Men vs Sentinel that someone tried to hide at some Walmart... Not the best looking box, but for $7 who cares

A worthless pile of plastic? It's a Star Wars Millennium Falcon, not a Walmart discount Ninjago set. It will be just fine.

​I never pay for shipping I signed up for a trial max a couple of years ago and it has been extended repeatedly. Kmart had a sale recently. We just got a few things.

​why would my conscience be bothered? i put the product out there at a market price, provide best possible customer service and on top of that get dinged 15%+shipping for every item. if someone doesnt like the price im not twisting anyone's arm to buy it. not one of my customers ever contacted me because they were "tricked" and left me a review stating they got ripped off. amazon = reputable dept store, ebay = flee market full of thieves. there is your price difference.

I recently inquired about why my country flag wasn't showing up under my user ID on posts. To solve this Jeff suggested that I log out of the forum and log back in again. This solved my issue and I'd suggest it to all members so we can keep track (visually) as to what is happening where with sales, findings, etc etc.

​I noticed the cool LOTR keychain selection. I was tempted to pick-up some, but I passed. Let's just call it the "when I snuck away to use the restroom, the wife didn't realize I visited the clearance store as well". I didn't have the gumption to visit there again to pick-up a few, with a big dark cloud looming and it was close to closing time.

​I would use clear RTV Silicon II. It will hold the pieces quite well, but you will be able to peel it off in the future.

​ One thing i'll say about Mines of Moria and Attack on Weathertop. They're GREAT sets for Game of Thrones custom figures. Be sure to pick up an attack of the wargs for Direwolves too That being said, I have faith in these sets, but maybe not by Christmas. They need to REALLY flush their way out of all retail markets (like the one you've found) before they creep up. Once they're REALLY gone, i see them doubling from the levels we're out now. Who knows how long that will take though?

​I really wish we'd see more reports on here, especially for folks who know they won't return to their visited locales anytime soon. There's nothing wrong with providing availability reports.

​I sold one to a grandma (well, convinced her to buy one at Target today). She was in the LEGO aisle with her grandsons, and one of them kept going on about how it was "rare". I just said "It is a Target exclusive," and we started a five minute conversation about the value of LEGO. She wouldn't let go of the set, saying, "I wonder if they'll even restock it." I think someone just found a new retirement job.

Okay, my personal opinion. The problem is that the AB franchise is pretty much having its least breaths. 3 years ago this would have been a hit. However Rovio revenues are plummeting and it has about zero media presence right now. AB is just so last year. If the movie can gather interest AND is good, then these might do well. Otherwise Lone Ranger.

Received 15 R2D2 from our one of forum members. Well packed and comes in great condition. I even didn't pull them out but directly throw the whole boxes to my storage. I won't meet them again until Christmas season.

​No. Basically you are paying the ebay rate after fees (not counting shipping and fees) and many of these sets are not going to realize significant growth. 33,500*(1-.129)=$29,178 Edit to clarify - yes, many sets will achieve growth but some are so new that you could buy them from other sources and receive discounts or rebates, etc.

People will be selling them for that price soon when the new one comes out. Ok, seriously, what I sometimes do with freebies and competition wins is bundle them with the toxic stuff I have (Lone Ranger, City,SW 1-3) then it feels like I actually turned a profit on them!

​I sold about 45 of them for $13.99 + shipping. Not a ton of profit, but not bad. They still seem to be around that price, maybe up a $1 or so. They are a pre-order bonus with the Jurassic Park Lego game so unless they show up in droves down south, this once could be scarce for a while yet.

You could have the same argument with Bricklink vs Ebay. People shop on site that they are comfortable with and know about. People are willing to pay more for peace of mind even if they know there are cheaper alternative. For a fact, some lego on Bricklink is much cheaper than ebay and amazon but I doubt most ordinary folks will actually purchase from bricklink even if they knew about it.

​not sure where you got confused. if the public shuns the brand, it includes all sets, however you wanted a falcon discussion here, hence frivolous references to 7965. granted certain highly sought after sets will be the exception, but 7965 is not one of them.

Alright who is going to spurge heavily tomorrow once Myer open its door? I know over at the eastern states there are plenty of the modular DA on sale the last round but we hardly get any the last round. Might be too early to get one anyway but along the way Slave 1 UCS is available as well. There is also the exclusive JW set to myer too so hmmmm don't really know what to put my cash on tomorrow.

​ Thanks. That was a great place to start. It doesn't have everything, nor is it up to date on everything, but it was a great starting point. I've been trying to figure out the best format for this. I think what I will do is maintain a spreadsheet of all the none polybags for the year, and then post a monthly update. I will need to get input from everyone throughout the month as to what polybags you're seeing - this table is only as good as the input it gets. Agreed. The Joker Bumper Car just hasn't hit anywhere in any capacity yet. I think you are right - it might be tied to Jokerland's release.

​I doubt it, they'll have to hit in bigger numbers at some point and probably tied to a Jokerland promotion. I did pick-up an A-Wing polybag today at Legoland, which is the first time I've seen them.

Update: My parts came in. The black 1x1s are in. Unfortunately the white 1x1s were quite yellow and discolored. My fault as I ordered used ones as an add on to another order as that's all the seller had. Only about 6 of them were usable. I usually only go for new condition white parts and this has taught me to stick to that rule. So I'll have to source a few more. Dark side looking good. Just Boba and Maul to come. I also have weapons to come, lightsabers and blasters etc. Light side looking a little sparse so far.

You mean there's other polybags out there other than Joker Bumper cars??

guys, another rule for investors .... dont let your your personal feelings of a set shadow its investment potential. dont need to buy 40 of these ... add 5 to your stock to diversify it ... if it tanks, youve got only 5 to deal with ... if it flys, then youll wish you had more ...

New Sealed box in good condition $250 for both..... I guess waiting 2 years for lego to gain value is not for everyone.....

​Those are very cool. It's easy to use those, too, because they get stuck onto a very common piece. So you can easily switch things up and out. I may pick up a few sets of those and see if that doesn't help sell my PCs for a little higher price down the road.
