There is a new feature available to those of you that may not have wanted to start from scratch and re-list all of your current eBay products. This feature will hopefully make that process a little faster. In the Products section of the Vendor admin areas, you will see a new link for "Import from eBay". Its a pretty simple and fast setup. You will see an eBay Connect/Reconnect button that will bring you to eBay and ask for your permission for Brick Classifieds to get your listings. They basically pass us a token to allow us to list your items for you to select and import. It will show you all your current listings. If there are non LEGO related listings, you can keep those unchecked and it will only import the ones you want to import. You will also have the ability to select a small discount to your current pricing. If you would like to lower the price by 5% or even 10% it will adjust those prices on import. Once you select all your desired items to be imported, process them and you will then see all of them listed and ready to be edited and made live. All imported items default to the non active status. You will still need to add/adjust a few things to make sure it fits the Brick Classifieds format. It will import your Title, Description, Price, Quantity, condition (if available) and images. You will still need to select the category, enter tags and do shipping. If you are using stock photos on eBay, these will need to be turned into personal photos for Brick Classifieds. This has been going really well on the site, and we do not want to deviate from this. Note: All my listings above are fake, just used for testings... Hopefully this feature will encourage some of you that are just on eBay to import your listings here and continue to build the marketplace. If you are running into issues, please send me a PM and we will figure it out. Feedback is always welcome. There is also a sync process setup to monitor your eBay listings. If it is sold on eBay, it will update your Brick Classifieds listings. It can subtract quantity or make your listing in-active. Thank you4 points

I don't get why otherwise rational adults get so worked up watching millionaires toss around an under inflated piece of leather.3 points

No. You have a guy that drags 3 tacklers 3 yards after contact on a regular basis. If he cannot break the plane on 3 attempts with timeouts, hats off to a pats D that stepped up when it mattered most. Reports are they had pre-planned the series. What they didn't do was pivot when the situation changed and it cost them.3 points

I'm only up to 20...will try to get another 10 this month. I'm going to stop buying once price goes over $500. I would REALLY like 50 of these now. I'll post a pic if I come close.3 points

I'm not even going to bother with walking into a Target to scan the LEGO. When you guys report back that discounts are close to 50% and there is still stock to be found, then I may venture out, lol!2 points

That is a tough comparison there newbie77. 9493 is the best system scale x-wing, but it can not hold up to 10240. The build of 10240 is far far superior in every way. The playability is a win for 9493, but barely. I found both models to be sturdy and swosh-able, but the minifigs do add a lot of play features to 9493. With that said those that are paying 400+ for an x-wing will pass on anything system and go for the "adult" version of this model. Another think to keep in mind is there weill be many more system scale x-wings before you ever see another UCS x-wing. E VII brings huge upside to everything Star Wars. I have not been to my local stores. Anyone know if the Washington DC area has any more? If it truly is gone, this may surprise us all by hitting $400 by Christmas. Yes, $150 would have been sweat, and it would have changed a lot in the EOL picture but to compare it to 10212 which was on sale a lot is not fair. I am pleased with the performance of 10212 and would be content with similar returns with any set. You will not loos money on this one. Guaranteed* * If you hold for a year it will go up at least %50. I agree, but the upside is solid and the floor is profit. I just got my final shipment from Target today. I am done and will not be looking that them until 2016 or later.2 points

In Dec 2012, they could be had for $317 at Amazon and no buying limit That is one I picked up my first one. Seems like ages ago.2 points

I am just glad TLG did away with the ridiculous UCS tax and came back to their senses with Slave 1. In a few years Slave 1 will be one I fill my boots with no questions asked. Still hoping for that magic May 4 promo on 10240.2 points

I believe it'll be somewhat of a sleeper hit but for a hardcore fans like me it's a must have, it's my second favorite ship right after the millenium falcon. And who knows how long it'll take lego to make another version of it since it's last iteration was one of the first ucs sets that came out over a decade ago2 points

I realize the weather channel is wrong 100% of the time, but come on! A brief period of freezing drizzle this afternoon is so far a 3 hour long full fledged snow storm. I don't even know why they bother to predict when they can't even get the current weather right most of the time. Which involves all of the science and technology of looking out the window.2 points

Unfortunately, ToO and Red 5 were at limit 2 from day 1 of availability. I guess you can only use changes in the limits as guidelines, not absolute values2 points

Approaching 24 hours after 2 unpaid buyer cases both on my 2 AA's I sold with no payment or message of any kind. Looks like I might get to keep them which would be great.1 point

This piece in that color is expensive due to it being in popular sets that people are rebuilding. Mainly the Eiffel Tower (10181). 252 in the Eiffel Tower, 32 in the Imperial Flagship and 6 in the Caf1 point

Since january 2014 that I've checked toy stores (bricks and mortar) to find some deals (harry potter, etc.),I saw many death stars, but I never saw the SSD in ANY of the 30 shops I visited. The SSD I received from LEGO Shop at Home was the first (and last) set I ever hold in hands. Maybe I was already too late to see one in store ? I don't know. I guess that, considering the fact that lots of people do not know that the LEGO Shop at Home exists, those people will realize later that "what ??? this lego SSD set does exist ? Incredible !" Quick growth ? Yes maybe, but it still has some great potential for long term (we're talking about a 3 feet and a half long lego SW spaceship)1 point

Honestly I only clicked on the thread because in my tired stupor I saw Sandcrawler AWD and thought someone finally modded this to All Wheel Drive1 point

As an investor I have to thank TLG for another avenue to introduce AFOL's to the product-line as a whole. As a fan... Man, they are nailing it. As an eighties kid, Scooby Doo basically defined after school and Saturday mornings. My current son- 3-years old- loves the show. Incredible how well TLG is reaching out to so many different generations and demographics.1 point

I'll lodge a formal complaint: No Beast-Mode on the 1-yard line? I get that, by clever play-calling, they would have gotten three plays instead of two. But Beast-mode delivers. Time and time again. It didn't cost much... just THE SUPERBOWL.1 point

When and if Parisian Restaurant drops from 99 i will start to look at it. Just knowing its ok to spend 16k on 1 modular at a time takes all the suspense out of it.1 point

All IMO, but the over-time acquisitions right now are PS and Red 5. I am acquiring 4x the PS that I am of the Red 5; just my personal take on long-term ROI potential. Fourth quarter... Rancor (still seeing these at TRU and B&******); praying no other Rancor iteration shows up in some lame re-hash. Third quarter... Guardians of the Galaxy. Groot = $. That movie will come roaring back with sequels. Tower Bridge. Punch yourself in the face if you miss this one; this is an epic set that will never go out of date. If everything on the shelves were to retire tomorrow, I would spend every well-earned buck I have on TB's exclusively. Second quarter... PC? I would doubt the carpet is yanked out on this one TH-style before PS. Priced well and selling well. Love this thread... fun to hear how everyone is speculating.1 point

All the mods try very hard to keep things on track here. I've even been off topic too much before and they have helped course corrrect. It may not always be what we individually want and it may be confusing appearing things or even mods could have a conflict on some posts about what is ok because no one here is perfect but you know they try really hard to have Brickpicker remain on track, threads on track and are trying to keep things organized and sorted by the thread core topic. It's not always perfect but there intent is well meant and needed. we don't want Brickpicker to be like the wild west with no sheriff and the only thing to defend us would be the train from the Lone Ranger train set. For your frustration try to keep a positive attitude and hug a mod today. Hope this helps on a perspective.1 point

Promos shouldn't drive the investment decision. The tale doesn't wag the dog. That being said, I've got two drillers now and they are pretty lame, unless you want to put it in the middle of the Tower Bridge and cause a traffic jam.1 point

One of the biggest signs (at least to me) will be when it switches to limit 2. I'm happy to get a couple during double VIP in the spring, and as long as it stays limit 5 through the rest of the year I'll hold off.1 point

Not really surprised considering the sizes of all the sets. Based on what they have released so far it seems very unlikely they would release a very large set. That really only left the Wall-E, maybe the Hubbell if they wanted to redesign it to be smaller. Since they carried over the Dr. Who line it seemed likely it would get approved too. I'm guessing the next set will either be the maze or the piano, maybe the Hornet.1 point

When considering modulars I don't look too much into TH going early. With it's size and price point it feels like a one off. I think when it came out it was also the only time two modulars released the same year. GE-PS-PC feels like the natural order. My gut says PS goes this year in the same fashion as GE last year and FB in 2013.1 point

I'm not stepping in on srosters market either. Those x-wings are ridiculously large1 point

I too had the problem where every time I set out to buy a Red 5, I bought a ToO instead. 2400 pieces versus 1500 for the same price, and the tower is far less likely to be released as another set, while we all know the future holds many more Lego X-wings. Plus you can actually play with the tower. Even at several hundred dollars each, lots of these exclusives are being sold to parents (judging by online reviews and my own customers' emails). With the tower, you can display it from three sides, or turn it around and play with the interior. It's a win-win.1 point

This might be the first set I buy on release day. Something about this theme, my childhood, and just taking a trip back to the 80s.1 point

Sorry to burst your bubble...The new movies have new X-Wings. Their wings split down the middle like a puzzle piece and are offset. The main engines look like they split in half as well. I am almost 100% positive there will be new versions of the X-Wing Fighter. How that affects the values of the older versions can be argued, but there will be more...I assure you.1 point

Welcome to the forum Duckyluck! No additional advice from me. Except that in my opinion getting close with your product will help you make better business decisions. So maybe you can borrow some legosets from your wife's friend's husband just to build? I would recommend it. Good luck Duck!1 point
