You know a lot of smart Americans. Most are asleep and uninformed. They are too busy looking at Facebook and Snapchat.2 points

As most everyone predicted ebay ruled that they cannot remove the feedback since you can apparently say any crap you want in a feedback if it is your opinion you don't like the item. I decided I'm not going to bother emailing this jerk to try to get him to remove the feedback. I replied to his neg: Buyer sent 2 additional items as well as given a refund - still left neg feedbck Wish I could burn him further. PM if you want his name for your blocked list. He doesn't seem to buy legos though but if you have anything with boobs that he might stain you should keep your eyes out for him. Hide your american girls.2 points

Trust me, it isn't the only seller - there are lots of them (some don't even use paper - they just slap a label on the box.).2 points

very nice, a lot of work ( could of got hcx to do that for you in a good year or so) but still nice lol so close to the 10k we could figure out an equation to when the time will be or you could just answer 1 response to 15 different threads and be done with the suspense. For good measure seeing its right before 11 and based on your daily amount of posts we will go with 1/17/2015 as the trivia question for when Exciter hit 10k Bold Arrow I hope you are taking notes and watching this post. Just making them up for you lol2 points

It's one of those maddening situations, but they won't remove the feedback for a buyer's opinion on the transaction. Partial refunds are dicey -- they're perfectly appropriate in some cases and in some cases I offer them. At other times, they're nothing more than extortion. I recently got a neutral for refusing one (buyer was told to return for full refund, including shipping back to me, because I could tell she was one of those pros who always asks for money back) and I would have worn a negative from her with pride. Sorry it happened to you, it never does get to where it feels okay or right.2 points

I had someone send me an email outside of eBay for a refund. I keep a 14 return policy really for fluff on my listings as I know most won't follow through I'm that time. She wanted to return something because she "thought" she was spending $100 but she was charged $130 (the listing was for $130 so idk where she got the number from) She said she'd return my item unopened but I opted not to accept the return. The item was delivered 12/11 so we're over a month out. I refused to receive it for the cases that have come through the past few days. I'm holding strong on this and don't want buyers to think they can take advantage of me for some bs reason. Sent from my HTC6525LVW using Brickpicker mobile app2 points

Did not realize you can now download an exact report of the exact item number of any defect you receive. It gives you the item number, and reason or reasons. This is very useful information especially if you focus on the ones that left 1,2,3 stars as that is not one you can normally figure out on your own. The case ones and feedback ones are obvious and I always blocked those before as well. Was disturbed to see that over the 3 months 3 were for LEGO polybags seeing we box every single one of them unlike most that use bubble mailers. Good to know though as you can block any of the users to prevent them from doing it to you again. With that info you can also track to make sure there was not sabotage done by the same person. Very surprised they wound up doing this as it was always anonymous. I would not recommend contacting anyone as that is against policy and might take the feature away but at least now you can prevent yourself from future dealing with that person.2 points

Another little thing to always check when you get a negative before leaving your response or calling ebay is the "feedback left for others" tab of the buyer. You would be surprised how many of these people have done this repeatedly. You will have a little more ammo in your call if the buyer has done it multiple times. I had one guy who had left 8 negatives out of his last 10 transactions. There was a trend and it helped the situation. You are allowed to leave that in the response as well if it happened. You can't leave it as there main feedback but as a response to yours is fine. If it was just a first time he did this a good response is below that fits in the allotted amount of characters. It shows how much you did for the buyer while showing you've never had issues with the product and they were still not happy which others will see as the person just being an a$$. Most of your buyers will actually leave overly positive comments when they see what someone did to you and reading a response like that. Sold over 50 w/o issue, sent 2 extras at no charge & $10 refund, still left neg.2 points

I shared my Printable LEGO Label collection with many of you in the past, but I wanted to let you know that I just completed a large update which includes many common Technic parts. I got a *lot* of comments and emails indicating that you want more labels, so I hope you enjoy. A sample of the new Technic labels. The labels look great on any organization system. It's pretty obvious now everyone is dying for the top 20-50 list. It should be it's own thread at this point as this has barely been about tower bridge all day. Which is fine, but maybe we can get that list Ed? Cause I'm also intrigued to know. Otherwise people will just go in a round about way naming more sets and asking if it's close to top 10. haha1 point

I guess Ciglione refers to the european market. I have the same feeling like him. In my opinion TB will perform very good in europe, i have 8 right now and would like to get 7 more for a total of 15.1 point

Doubtful....they are too many people here scouring world for deals rather than pay full price for amazing sets.1 point

The sting always hurts - I tend to be less active for a while after getting burned. We like to believe that if we take the proper precautions, we will be safe & secure - so when the reality of being helpless hits, it's never good.1 point

Yeah LEGO just went nuts to throw out the trash nobody wanted. Seeing a DUPLO set on the first exclusive page is depressive though. At least I know that awesome stuff is coming this year. What I like is that modulars seem to be constantly out of stock now. It signals a high demand for these sets. I don't think people are hoarding PR, it should be true demand. And this means our stashed retired stuff will rise nicely.1 point

Plus people like me who are holding a bunch but haven't done inventory lately. Whoops! Sent from my HTC6525LVW using Brickpicker mobile app1 point

Cafe Corner was the first modular. Market Street second, Green Grocer third. Though some concider GG the true second because Market Street was designed by a Lego Fan and not TLG themselves. If you want to buy one of these early three and are finding it hard to make your mind up, I would say Green Grocer simply because you can get it cheaper.1 point

Just bought four sets of reindeer 40092 from the lego store discounted to $7.99 from $9.99. Super stoked!!!1 point

I thought it was a bit of a running joke on the forum, but now I've seen it first hand. I ordered TLM Benny's Spaceship for a reasonable price ($75 shipped). I arrive at home this afternoon to find a delivery from the post office. The seller wrapped the set in CHRISTMAS WRAPPING PAPER, slapped a shipping label on it, and sent it to my house. Of course the wrapping paper is ripped, the box is still sealed, but mangled. UGH! I'm frustrated to say the least. Last month it was stollen/lost packages that I took a loss on, now it's s seller who can't even be troubled to use an outer shipping container. The seller has not responded to my message. I can't seem to catch a break. I'm thankful Brick Classifieds is starting to take off.1 point

Absolutely. Took my boy there a week ago and he had a blast. Need to stop back by there this weekend.1 point

For me, Cafe Corner but if you care about the interior, maybe Green Grocer.1 point

same here , clearances do not last past the 15 most the time, by the time any 30 hits its Chima & Ninjago seems to be the way in the bigger cities. We have access to more exclusives which is nice but you lose out on the clearance / sale deals. More rural areas seem to get way better clearance but don't have the luxury of multiple LEGO stores. In the end it keeps it balanced and makes the market good for a wide variety of people.1 point

been down this road before man. Don't Call eBay. It will only add to your aggravation. As you will tell and explain your situation to dome dude in some far off country who won't comprehend. They will go by the book and off script and tell u it csnt be removed as your buyer had an unpleasant experience. Send the dude a special gift. For what it's worth, I actually did the series with my kid and have learned quite a bit. It's shifted the way I look at and approach building lego. I'm quite confident in my ability to build nice MOCs on the fly. I have a few ideas that I'm sorting through, to possibly refine and submit one of, to Lego Ideas. And maybe my idea ends up being great or maybe it ends up being crap, the point is that it's not something I would have attempted to accomplish before doing the MBAs. To me anyhow, I, by far, learned more from these sets than any large build. To each their own.1 point

I'm a 27 yr old wife of 1 and mother of 2. I have been investing in the stock market since I was 15 and recently cashed out my Apple stock I purchased at $109 to invest elsewhere. Thanks to a sweet write up in USA Today, I was led here. I like to think it was destiny. Most girls won't be here because they don't play with toys, and the majority of women don't self direct their investments. It's generally the men who do both of those things, so don't be too surprised . I grew up playing video games, gi joe and baseball with my brother, so legos are much more fun to me. My girlfriends would make fun of me for even visiting this site, lol.1 point
