Well, even if there is a new UCS Falcon now, it is based on the newer version with the different radar dish, so IMO, it won't have a negative affect on the old 10179. If anything, it will be positive in that people will want both versions.

i noticed this a long time ago and these buckets are good money. i have been loading up on them. i don't know why they sell so good but they are easy to sell. the pink versions which i have 20 of actually have some rare parts but the farm bucket is just plain bread and butter. i sold a lot of 4 of these last week for $139 bin free shipping - paid $7.50 each x 4=$30 in August at a grocery store clearance sale. i would sell them now - i think additional gains will be modest.

Yes there's the UCS Red-Five. Yes this set will be re-made. Yes it has hung around a long time. You're going to hear a thousand reasons why to avoid this set. Maybe they are right, I personally am of the mindset that original trilogy Star Wars sets are ALWAYS worth getting. $40 or so as an entry for this. There have been very very very few "losers" from the OT.

I like how JJ Abrams has given this a feel akin to the original trilogy, plus the cgi looks insanely good.

My son's Sea Monkeys are still living after a year!

Big order of sea monkeys came in ($1.25 per set) just in time for the big Christmas rush. Delivery guy was nice enough to leave them on the driveway despite the wife being home.

Went to WalMart to get a Creative Tower. They had about 30 and all were gone in less than 5 minutes. I did get one and then made a beeline for Target and was able to get a Batcave. Added in a LEGO movie (the version with the Vitruvius minifigure) for good measure.

A reward for those who dig up old ancient topics. You could use an archeologist icon or something.
