  3. Hello everyone! I'm new to this forum and I'm truely a LEGO fan:) Here is one of my recent work based on Marvel Super Heroes theme, and hope you guys enjoy it! For more details, please check the link below. If you like the model, please give your support. Thanks a lot! https://ideas.lego.com/projects/85922 THE STORY The project features the scene from the movie Captain America: The First Avenger. Red Skull is escaping in his flying-wing with the cosmic cube, and Captain America is chasing him, but he is losing his target. Thanks to Peggy Carter and Colonel Chester Phillips, who come with Red Skull's roadster for help! After kissing Peggy goodbye, the mighty Captain jumps onto the aircraft from the roadster and saves the day! THE FLYING-WING The flying-wing is built mainly with dark grey, light grey, black and some dark red bricks. The front cockpit can open and fit one minifig, probably Red Skull himself. The back cockpit can also open, where Red Skull place the cosmic cube. THE ROADSTER The roadster is built with black and dark red bricks, and can fit two minifigures comfortably. Peggy and Colonel Chester Phillips are driving the luxurious car, although it is Red Skull's ride. For more details of the roadster, please refer to this link (including the car model from real bricks): https://ideas.lego.com/projects/83538/updates THE MINIFIGS This project includes four minifigs: Captain America, Red Skull, Peggy Carter and Colonel Chester Phillips. As for the accessories: Captain America is holding his shield; Red Skull has a big gun in one hand and the cosmic cube in the other; Peggy and the Colonel are both holding a pistol. All four minifigs have custom decals on their heads and torsos. Thank you all for viewing!

  5. My last 20 RR on ebay, besides one auction left for Sunday night. That's 148 of them in less then a week. I kept 2 for me.

  6. Just sold my last Wolverine's Chopper on Craigslist for $80 CDN. I had asked for $100 but had used this price in full expectation of being asked to haggle down. You have to stay one step ahead of these people. $80 is what I was getting for these on ebay before fees so I'm actually ahead on this one. Oh Logan, how I'll miss thee. From $7 purchase to $80 sale. Go make some child/man-child happy.

  7. Sold a Star Wars lot to someone local: Sail Barge, Palace, Skiff and A-Wing. Didn't net a huge profit ($50) but hopefully earned some future business down the road. I was glad to dump the barge and a-wing.

  9. It would be a foolish move in my opinion not to buy those sets. I pay above retail for many special sets all the time and I never regret it. People need to realize that not every LEGO set has to be bought at a discount for it to be a good deal in the long term.

  16. I took a look at the previous AA set from a few years ago, and this one BLOWS it out of the water. I think this one will be a winner, even with the threat of counterfeit figures slightly devaluing the set. Although, if you were a collector & hypothetically going to pay $400 for this set, 2 years from now, i dont think 99 cent reproduction figures will satisfy you.

  17. I like what I'm seeing so far...21113, 21115, 21116 OOS on Amazon and 21114 backordered by 1-2 days. Now the only question is how fast they restock and how much.

  18. It's easy to use, will sync automatically with eBay if you set it up, free unless something sells... and pretty much a dead marketplace. We duplicated our eBay inventory over there for a couple years and probably 1/3 of 1% of our sales occurred there. I put us on vacation a few months back, just haven't gotten around to cancelling our store there yet. It certainly doesn't do any harm - if you sync your eBay with Bonanza, eBay sales will be automatically deleted from your Bonanza inventory, if you sell on Bonanza you'll need to manually delete the item from your eBay inventory, but that will happen so infrequently it's really not a hassle.

  19. It can be pretty frustrating. A couple of weeks ago I had a Sopwith tied up in pending status for 6 days and then it never went through. It worked out because in the interim the price had moved up a bit and I ended up making a little more when I was able to put it back up for sale. But that week was rough, I had 5 pending orders and none of them ended up as sales. In the mean time, it's not listed for sale to anyone else. I wish Amazon would come up with a fix for it - as NMM mentioned above, it could be abused by a rival 3rd-party seller to drive buyers towards their items. That. Would. Suck.

  21. Target and Amazon boosted the price on 21115 back to MSRP. WM still has it for $34.99. Sign of dwindling stock or...?

  23. Scored 8 of these at Kroger today. They were marked down to $25 via sticker on the set but ring up at $35. They honored the sticker price of $25. It requires a manager override at the register. This has been reported elsewhere. If you have a Kroger Marketplace close to you go check. This is like printing money!

  24. It looks like you're right. If I try to make an offer to someone with free shipping, it says in the offer that shipping is free. Their wording just threw me, but would make more sense for a listing that had a shipping cost listed Time to turn the phone up to hear the cha-ching.

  34. Lego legal told me that it is illegal to do an exact duplicate in China. China completely agrees with them there. The problem is the court's interpretation can allow for a slight change (something as simple as different packaging) to cause Lego to lose the case. And then you have the issue of the sheer number of counterfeiters and the number that will simply jump in and replace those eliminated.

  35. This is the right thread to spend my 600th post on! I really like what you did there. Especially the car looks great! Don't know if LEGO will support this due to its military theme - I know it's also movie theme but still... Anyhow, I'll be supporting your idea ;-) hope you get to the review process soon!

  36. For those considering FBA now that the amazon holiday selling rules are in place, I would advise against it. As Bold-Arrow said, FBA has its pro's and con's. I'll try to run through a short list of them, but it's worth searching out more details on this forum, the brickset forum, and elsewhere before you take the leap. Search for "FBA horror stories" for a sampling of all that can go wrong. pros: higher selling price, amazon handles the packing/shipping and all the customer service cons: storage fees, amazon handles the packing/shipping and all the customer service The seller needs to pay shipping to get the items to an amazon warehouse, so there is still that. There are horror stories of shipments being lost or misdirected though. _IF_ the sellers stock is co-mingled with others, there is a risk of a product being shipped to your customer that is in worse shape (or even the wrong item) than the one you sent to amazon. It costs more to keep your product separate from the co-mingled stock. _IF_ the buyer has a complaint, the seller has very little recourse to resolve it. AMZ handles the customer service, and decides how much credit to give for a claim. Bottom line is that if you are quick-flipping and/or have high volume, FBA is probably OK---you can ride out the hiccups. If the items you are selling are very valuable, and/or rare, I would avoid it. I've looked into FBA many times, but have decided against it (for now, that may change if I run out of space in my closet). For me, the risks of something going wrong are just too high. I'm a hobby seller, and average 1-2 sales a week when I feel like selling stuff. My volume is so low, that if a sale went bad, it could wipe out my whole profit for the month. Through FBA, you're bringing in a third party, and so in my opinion the chances of something going wrong increase dramatically. If my sales were much higher in volume, I would probably see more benefit than cost to the FBA program. Similarly, if your volume is so low that you didn't make the '25 sales in 8 weeks' threshold, FBA may be riskier than it is worth. Just my 2-cents.

  37. I also do think 229 euro for this set is way too much.. But I bought a couple with a nice discount, just in case. But this will be just a terrible seller like the B-wing

  38. Craziest thing... my wife was just at the TRU looking for any 75056 left. She didn't see any at first, and then some weirdo dug one out from hiding at put it back on the shelf where it was supposed to be. She snapped it up, posted it on ebay, and flipped it for $65 before she left the store.
