Am I the only one that finds it funny when grown men ask each other if they should build a Lego set or not. I do not know what ur enjoyment level is with building a set. Me personally... It's work. You would have to pay me to build a lego set. It's work x amount. Is that amount worth it to u to build and have one of ur own.... No one here can advise. Be careful too, the same phrase can have different meanings depending on context. There are also different hierarchies dependent on the age of the speaker. Sales really picking up in November, already more this month so far than Sep/Oct combined. Have sold 4 Helm's Deep this week @ $170, a $60 Orc Forge, as well as some cheaper battle packs. Need to keep it up for all the spending that's been going on, UPS dropped off more boxes today.

Bought a couple more sets of Mixels series 2 at TRU using the 10% off and Batwing promo. I think I'm going to list my sets this week at a high price and wait for eBay to catch up as we get close to Christmas.

it appears you mention something negative about this set in nearly every other post you type (in this thread). i think it's safe to mention that pretty much everyone (reading this thread) knows you have issues with 10225.

The LOTR Pirate ship is not nearly as impressive as the POTC ship. For that reason, I think it lags well behind.

TRU in Canada still has them in stock, but it's $229.99 + 13% tax for me = 259.89 (about $230 US). I just can't seem to pull the trigger at that price... Would anyone here? It has to pass $260 US not including shipping to bring that into the black.

Unlike R2, DS works great as a cat tree if you clear out the internal features and minifigs (although my cats enjoy hiding those in out of the way places). I'm assuming this use has some effect on the resale value, but shouldn't be too bad.

From what reviews and things I read, fans of the Winter Village sets don't like Santas Workshop because it is smaller and doesn't fit in. Therefore the target group is going to be other consumers that aren't already interested.

Yes for the Imperial Shuttle. Despite being a fantastic looking space ship from the SW movies. One of the best designs in fact, the lack of popularity is probably what slows down the appreciation of the set. It is also an amazing display and very well designed set, I am re-building mine as it sat in the box for more than a year and I missed it a lot... r2d2 on the otherh and is quite popular so I wouldn't think it will suffer much from that... Same with my girlfriend and sister too. They both want one each, trouble is ....from my r2d2 inventory!

I'm glad to have a couple of Bilbo's houses tucked away for the future. This one will be gold in a few years--and I doubt we'll see a LEGO set like it (at least not for a long, long time).

I just finished finding all the pieces for a 6285 Black Seas Barracuda. I was very surprised to see that in a bulk lot where most of the sets are from 2007 and on. Unfortunately, there are several important pieces missing like some of the hull, four sails, and the masts, so I'm can't build the set yet. Next set, 4957 Ferris Wheel!
