Am I the only one that finds it funny when grown men ask each other if they should build a Lego set or not. I do not know what ur enjoyment level is with building a set. Me personally... It's work. You would have to pay me to build a lego set. It's work x amount. Is that amount worth it to u to build and have one of ur own.... No one here can advise. Sales really picking up in November, already more this month so far than Sep/Oct combined. Have sold 4 Helm's Deep this week @ $170, a $60 Orc Forge, as well as some cheaper battle packs. Need to keep it up for all the spending that's been going on, UPS dropped off more boxes today.

Bought a couple more sets of Mixels series 2 at TRU using the 10% off and Batwing promo. I think I'm going to list my sets this week at a high price and wait for eBay to catch up as we get close to Christmas.

it appears you mention something negative about this set in nearly every other post you type (in this thread). i think it's safe to mention that pretty much everyone (reading this thread) knows you have issues with 10225.

The LOTR Pirate ship is not nearly as impressive as the POTC ship. For that reason, I think it lags well behind.

TRU in Canada still has them in stock, but it's $229.99 + 13% tax for me = 259.89 (about $230 US). I just can't seem to pull the trigger at that price... Would anyone here? It has to pass $260 US not including shipping to bring that into the black.

Unlike R2, DS works great as a cat tree if you clear out the internal features and minifigs (although my cats enjoy hiding those in out of the way places). I'm assuming this use has some effect on the resale value, but shouldn't be too bad.

I'm a big Star Wars fan. But I feel like Lego could've made a better R2. Shinier silver lego bricks would've looked much better on the dome instead of the dull grey bricks. And they should've put some electronics in it so it could roll or rotate it's dome or make beeping sounds. As a fan, that's the one I'm hoping for.

That sounds like a lot of hassle.

I love the set. Everytime I visit my lego store and pass the build version with the lights in it. I cannot walk on. I have to look at it and admire it. Offcourse it is more hoarded than for example the Eiffel Tower or Taj Mahal. But still I believe it will reach a value of 500 euro eventually.

If you built it you would understand how amazing it is. It also is a huge landmark. I displayed for a year and it never got old to just admire it.

Bummed I missed out on the Minecraft 'The End' set blowout on TRU eBay today. Then the universe smiled on me. Found 2 of them at a Target that were returned and marked down to $9.

I have no factual knowledge about whether or not R2 is about to shuffle off this mortal coil, but I do have a rhetorical question for those who say keeping R2 around "seems logical." There are currently five Exclusives being sold in the Star Wars theme. There is a sixth that has been announced and will be shipping in January. There is a seventh rumored for later in 2015. Does it "seem logical" to expect Lego to be selling six or seven Star Wars Exclusives next year?

Yeah, as a reseller I have no interest in selling to minty fresh box divas...can't blame Amazon for having a limit to how much trouble they want to deal with...they have a lot more patience than I have for that stuff, but then again, they should...they have deeper pockets and much poorer packing.

Just sold two Robie Houses for just under $600 total. Picked three up them up for $124 each eight months ago. Putting all that cash back into the T1 Camper. Hope to sell the last Robie this week.

Bought 4 Power Armor Lex from walmart.com. 3 came in a sealed LEGO shipping container and the extra one was separate in the bigger box. The LEGO shipping box looked like either a worker cut and tore it open to check which product was inside, or a rabid dog bit off the corner. Two of the product boxes look like someone opened it to remove the minifigs (but it's from whatever damaged the LEGO box). The third had minor damage and the loose one is the only one I'm keeping, because it was the best out of all of them.

Absolutely do not keep them.
