Unikitty Mech I want this. I want this really bad. I need the instuctions. I've got the parts (says it comes from Cloud Cuckoo Palace).
  2. I'm just glad I have plenty from the 2013 run, since they're better than the 2014's, but still not as scary as the Canadian version. These guys show up at your door and take them back!
  3. Spidey is exclusive to this limited edition. Order at http://www.binioudascammer.com while you can !
  4. thanks guys, im glad i was able to pay back the great users of this site as it has been a big help to my newfound investing hobby/business. this one was a real lucky break..i wasn't intending to buy the camper but it had previously been sitting in my cart and when i switched between regions, a screen popped up saying that the minicamper promo wasnt avail in my region. i thought it was just a wrong image (ie instead of the spaceman), but i switched back to US region and added the big camper, and voila..promo heaven!
  5. Now is as good of time as ever to get one from S@H. You get the spaceman promo the chima bike AND A mini T1. http://click.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/click?id=jfOcdvfTNg4&subid;=&offerid=115554.1&type=10&tmpid=2294&RD_PARM1=http://shop.lego.com/en-US/Volkswagen-T1-Camper-Van-10220
  6. You're wrong, unless you mean you'll make a UPS claim for the money to refund the buyer for the damaged item. As the seller, you are responsible for the item arriving to the buyer in the condition it was described. If your shipping company damages the item, that's on you, and both eBay and PayPal will back the buyer on that. Re: partial refunds vs. returns - I agree that partial refunds are often the cheaper way to go, but keep in mind that sellers caving to these over and over has created a small percentage of buyers on eBay who claim there's something wrong with everything they get, to get a little money back. Requiring a return for a full refund spikes their guns nicely - they don't want to send stuff back, they want to keep it and get some money back too - so if the buyer is one of these numpties they won't take the offer of a full refund upon return, they'll just go away.
  7. Watch how fast the Frozen castle goes
  8. It has been a while since I updated what I have built so here goes: August - Mini Cooper - half of it I built in the back seat of my car when I took a driving break and the other half of the set I built in my hotel. Good build, except for the size of the steering wheel and gearshift. End August/Early September - 10190 Market Street, 10185 Green Grocer and two more floors of the 10211 ***. Emporium - the picture shows a couple of missing pieces but those are in a ziploc bag on top or behind. Market Street is really a boring build and it doesn't fit with the grandeur of the other modulars. The main issue is the market, it has to go at the end of a block or with something on top of it as it looks out of place. Green Grocer is a great build with lots of interesting details and different pieces. It looks great and in my opinion has the best exterior design. Even if you don't collect/build modulars, I think that everyone will appreciate this set. This weekend was a busy one with 3 builds: My girlfriend finally finished her Tumbler, she was building one bag a day until yesterday's 3 bag finale. I can't comment much on the build other than it is a really large set and the left and right front corner panels are not secure. This is a difficult set to move around but as a display piece, it is awesome. Yesterday, I built the 4483 AT-AT. I had never built an AT-AT so I had no expectations. It's a weak build with a lot of structural issues, but it still looks good - I expect to sell this and trade up to the new one (based on the link that another member posted this week) I also built the 10187 Beetle over the weekend. First, I had to dust/clean the pieces to make sure everything was there (one minor piece missing that I don't have). It was an awkward build and fortunately Lego outlined the location of every piece in the instructions otherwise it would have been painful. I was surprised at the size of the beast but It really needs tiles to stand out so I will quickly sell this one. Time for a building break
  9. Some ideas of what the sets will be like with prelim pictures http://www.familienshopping24.de/SH-Black-Mantas-Angriff-id http://www.familienshopping24.de/SH-Gorilla-Grodds-Wutanfall http://www.familienshopping24.de/SH-Brainiacs-Attacke http://www.familienshopping24.de/SH-Darkseids-Ueberfall The "Super Jumper" addition is intriguing... turning minifigs into flick-fire missiles?
  10. I think we need to introduce some sort of "brickpicker of the month" badge or something...
  11. I love when new users make there first post something *** spectacular. This and the tower bridges from Walmart were the best. Thanks wet eagle
  12. Yeah, you guys better sell all your before November Without new media attention, i am sure it will be barely clearing $40 around holidays

  14. I shared my Printable LEGO Label collection with many of you in the past, but I wanted to let you know that I just completed a large update which includes many common Technic parts. I got a *lot* of comments and emails indicating that you want more labels, so I hope you enjoy. A sample of the new Technic labels. The labels look great on any organization system. 15. That 4 can only mean one thing. THE HORSEMEN ARE BACK
  16. The next thing you know they'll be at 5 Below for $10 each.
  17. STAR WARS and City sets have remakes all the time. That is because LEGO wants to reintroduce these popular sets to a new group of kids on an annual basis. LEGO has worked this way for the past 15 years...at least. If they remake the 10179, so what? It's time, isn't it? The new movies are coming out and the Falcon is in it. It would be foolish not to reproduce the best LEGO set ever made. This has zero bearing on any of the hundreds of other top sets that will never be reproduced.
  18. I only have 13 and was waiting until October to get a few more. Perhaps ending up with 13 haunted houses was meant to be. That number seems to fit that set quite well.
  19. I definitely think everyone else who does this should quit. I will take one for the team and handle the world's reselling after you all leave. That's the kind of stand up guy I am.
  20. I don't get it either. Ours is not to question why, Ours is but to locate and buy (on clearance and sell at 3 times retail.)
  21. Everyone is going to tell to buy another one from online and keep both. It's that kind of site...
  22. Seriously? Am I the only one who sees the Fantastic 4 logo there?
  23. Its actually from wceagles a brand new user in the daily deals forum. Great job.
  24. It will come back into stock. Maybe for a minute...Maybe for an hour...Maybe for a day...Maybe for a week...But they all usually come back into stock for a short time after the initial "Sold Out." After the remaining stock is accounted for and sold, the set usually retires shortly thereafter. For some sets, this process takes a few days...others a few months. I would think the HH is on the cusp of retirement.
  25. Looking over the pictures again....as much as we want Green Lantern, how is Gorilla Grood not the winner? You've got a Batman Mech, Wonder Woman in her Invisible Jet, Grood maxifigure, and Captain Cold. This one is the winner for me.
  26. Yeah I've been clamoring for an Orthanc sized Rapunzel Tower. You know what's missing from the Elsa Castle set? A troll-sized Marshmallow!! (With a hole on the top of his head for an optional crown)
  27. I never thought I would be so excited about seeing a Disney castle! PLEASE let it come out before Christmas!

This is great... Here's slightly more info on the rest of the parts: And he's already got 2.0 out there...looking good:
  29. Walmart is actually the easiest. You take your cert to customer service, and they'll give you a card. Whenever you check out at any walmart, tell them you are tax exempt first, they'll take the card and punch the number. Then after you pay you need to sign the machine a 2nd time verifying you are TE. Very little fuss and muss. If you have the forms pre-filled out, Kmart/TRU aren't bad, and Target takes a little time but they do it at the register and just need your number. I try to do my shopping specifically at off peak times to avoid holding up the line, etc etc. Now remember, even if you don't get the tax exemption, in NY (and I assume in most states) you can simply apply to get the sales tax refunded. Why all stores don't use the same method Walmart does I have no idea. It's far superior, efficient, and makes the most sense.
  30. They did, but we are too close to end of year for reappearance, i would think
  31. Any fellow canucks finding any deals on this one lately? We just built our HH and of course they all want the VC to go with it. Ugh.
  32. I got one on September 1st which is on its way. Threw in another order for HH last night to get another spaceman as I have enough things I want next month. Of course this is the extra scary Canadian version
  33. Well, I think this should give Vampyre Castle and the rest of the theme a near term bump in sale prices.
  34. I'm on it! ;-) (Just felt the need to complain some after I saw the SSD, DS, etc. discounts you've got lately ^.^)
  35. UCS disney princess sets....now that would be interesting to say the least :P

Hot air baloon obviously a winner to me.
  37. I believe you can see the shipping charges they pay if you view/print a packing list
  38. Honestly, in the future. use the GSP and base your items out of the US. This is the easiest method as you are close to the border. I have sold quite a few items using the GSP and it is really easy - one recent item was to Singapore and the item took a total of 7 business days to be delivered from when I dropped it off at the post office on a Sunday night - I can't arrange that with Canada Post. Additionally, you are not responsible for filling out customs paperwork and that can be a challenge depending on the country you are shipping to (Brazil for example) When I wasn't using the GSP, I would look up the cost of shipping and tracking and the buyer usual changed their mind due to the expense.
  39. I wipe down the work area of my desk to get rid of dust, cat hair, and other debris then I will wash my hands before touching a single brick. I will actually take a break after some time of building to wash my hands again because they can get sweaty between normal perspiration added with the increasing excitement of nearing model completion.
  40. So much regret.......y'all might be in the wrong business.
  41. It's a matter of percentages. If a set sits on my shelf for one year and has appreciated 20% or less from MSRP, I know that there is a much higher probability that I can pick a newer set that will appreciate faster than that set than there is of the set on my shelf now appreciating rapidly over the following 12 months.
  42. 71005 - Simpsons Minifig Full Box: 1 display box per shipping box. For proof of this (and my previous entries) check this post: http://community.brickpicker.com/topic/10400-assumed-date-codes-for-production-runs/?p=289300
