  1. Just finished my latest moc. I plan to decorate it with series 12 minifigs when they get released.
  2. Eradicator mech x1 Pirate ship ambush x1 DUPLO pirate ship x1 Jabbas place and Rancor pit (bundled) x1 MBA kit 1 X2 All going to a local children's hospital. I've bought enough for myself this year.
  3. I wish I got more DCs! I only got 3 very shortly after they were released. I found them at very ghetto Walmart in the clearance aisle for the amazingly low price of $20 each! They each have written on them with a red marker a big "D" on the bottom narrow part of the box, which I assume it means "Damaged", but 2 of the 3 are otherwise pristine, and the third one just has a light scoring from them going to far with the razor when they opened the box. It was an epic score, one of the few like it's I've ever been luckiy enough to find... but the super low price caused me to pass up other DC deals at $40-50 which I'm regretting not jumping on. In a way, getting them for $20 may have lost me a bit of money lol. BTW, I'll preempt any "pics or it didn't happen" replies... -PB
  4. I am working on getting the full 2014 list, if I get it I will list whats retiring.
  5. Not even 10% of what I ordered has come in.....my wife gave permission to take over the dining room. Spare bedroom and 3 huge walk in closets are already stuffed full. And I am still buying. Just got home from tru with a bunch of friends big sets and more funhouse/hobbit barrels.
  6. My prediction is this one is retiring June 9th this year. Then we get a break for 2 weeks, and then the friends version comes out--with pastels and a full size UCS Leia.
  7. Nobody missed the boat on the Dolphin Crusier its on the 2014 Wholesale list for the whole year.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  8. Hey guys, This set has been put on sale recently at Walmart and Target... down to around nine bucks. I'm of the opinion that this set might be the best nine bucks you can spend right now. We don't have another launch date for a set with Captain America in it that we know of before Christmas. He is possibly one of the most adored Super Heroes in the Avengers... I've purchased around 30 of these in the past couple weeks. Going to try to get a total of 100 of them. I think by Christmas time they will be an easy flip for 25+ dollars. Same goes for the Catwoman Chase...even though Batman is still around, Catwoman should do fairly well in a few months. It's an easy set to ship, and and easy set to sell multiples of in a short period of time. Good luck and start buying (Just some opinion garnered from eight years of Lego sales)
  9. Forgive me if this was already posted but I swear it stated something else when I checked the LEGO Shop at Home site earlier today. It is now reporting "Retired Product". http://shop.lego.com/en-US/The-Battle-of-Helm-s-Deep-9474
  10. That is sick! Great job! Do you have an estimate on the number of pieces used?
  11. Here you go. Loc Blocs. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Loc-Blocs-set-Mickey-Mouse-castle-Smurf-inst-700-boxed-large-lot-/141129761153?pt=Building_Toys_US&hash=item20dbfd4181#ht_2088wt_1124
  12. Awesome MOC. I wish I had the time and pieces to do something like that.
  13. I don't think this set was ever a sleeper. People got banned buying these by truckloads.
  14. So your profit like 10 bucks...or 5.00???...cause shipping for this 4lbs set near $12-14 ...i think too many random sellers ruin the lego market...dumping great sets foR quick flip and make no money at all. Just do the math next time before list lego on ebay... I got 35 of them...i waited price to raise to 90tsh level...sold 15...now selling for 119.50 rest of stock...getting more and hopeing for price to hit 140. This is i call wise investing.
  15. Stay away. Hobbit is the red-headed stepchild to LOTR. You can spend your $$ better elsewhere. Buy some Super Heroes set instead.
  16. Looks like your wife is a better bargain hunter than you. Two people team is definately better than most of us single man operations
  17. I'll take a slight shipping delay knowing the boxes will be packaged correctly. I know there are horror stories but all my LEGO Shop at Home purchases have always come mint, as opposed to some of my Amazon orders.
  18. An update - I listed the used 7783 for $350 and it sold within a few days. I was sad to see that awesome set go, but I learned it was going to make a child's Christmas so Santa Quacs feels a little better!
  19. You made me pull the trigger. Just got two Helm's Deep. Considering ordering another two, since I still have a $10 off coupon from BF.
  20. Incase anyone missed it the Kingdoms Chess Set retired a few days ago. I cleaned out my local LEGO store but as long as you dont live near me you might be able to find them for retail, not bad considering theyre already selling for close to double online.
  21. 1 point
    ...and the LEGO city.
  22. 1 point
Everything is cleaned up and ready for more.
  23. For myself, i would buy it at 30% off. For investment, i buy selectively. I'm more of a flipper due to limited budget. After the fees and everything, i must see the potential of 20-25% immediately before buying it. This opportunity comes once in a while but need to hit it hard
  24. I wished I live in the US. So many great deals.
  25. If you can even find some frickin silly string at retail!!!! @$#%in silly string resellers.
