July 24, 201510 yr yy You know what that song is about? Profit, pure and simple. The Ewoks invented QFLLing. And human-kabobs. Edited July 24, 201510 yr by biking_tiger
July 24, 201510 yr Profit, pure and simple. The Ewoks invented QFLLing. And human-kabobs. Anyone ever wonder what happened to the fallen stormtroopers ? We saw several helmets used as drums / accessories, but did the Ewoks just BBQ the bodies and serve them at that feast ? It would make sense to serve delicacy in a party to celebrate their biggest victory ever. If yes, did the rebels partake? People often forgot that those furry creatures eat humanoids

July 24, 201510 yr Just got my first two EV sets in the mail today. As I posted about a week ago, one of these bad boys is going on display in my office at work (because nothing projects an air of confidence and competence quite like Endorian battle scenes depicted in plastic building blocks ) Anyway, are either the 8038 or 7956 sets worth picking up as an add-on to 10236 for display purposes (not really investment or resale)? As I posted about a week ago, one of these bad boys is going on display in my office at work (because nothing projects an air of confidence and competence quite like Endorian battle scenes depicted in plastic building blocks ) Anyway, are either the 8039 or 7956 sets worth picking up as an add-on to 10236 for display purposes (not really investment or resale)? I assume you mean 8038 Battle of Endor. Short answer - heck ya. The bigger the better. Plus with 8038 you get an AT-ST with it. Of course buying used will save you a few bucks. Better yet - just crack open the second EV and join it with the first. If 1 is a display of confidence then 2 must be a display of arrogant aggression - ain't nobody be dis'n the man with 2 EV's in his office.
July 24, 201510 yr I was just checking Amazon and saw that also. I had some gift cards and a promo code from the Prime Day so I bought 2 Ewok Villages today. The Amazon store card also gives me 5% back on my statement, though unfortunately they are collecting sales tax for Ohio now. Don't forget to use the affiliate link for Amazon. These are my first two for investment. I have one loose for my collection that I got on Amazon Warehouse a while back for a nice price. It's time for me to start stocking up on this one. I would have done so sooner but I've been busy with so many other sets this year.
July 24, 201510 yr Was it limit 1 or 2 before the TOOS?I can confirm it was one. Because I just checked it before the day it went TOOS.
July 24, 201510 yr So tempted to pull the trigger on Amazon. I have a feeling there's one more shipment left in this set then it's done. TOOS status happened with R2 before ultimately being done.

July 25, 201510 yr Was it limit 1 or 2 before the TOOS? It was limit 5 at LEGO Shop at Home about 3 weeks ago it changed to limit 1. Edited July 25, 201510 yr by Pseudoty
July 25, 201510 yr Darn, $250 adds up fast. I've probably got my fill on these the last few weeks but it's really a cool set.
July 25, 201510 yr Ok, so last night EV was $300 at Target. I see just a few moments ago it s back to "normal"...$250. I say "why not, better get one to build with the kids before its gone", and go grab my wallet and GC's. I refresh the screen, and "poof" back to $300.Really, Target, Really!?Haha...The Target bots must be slacking, since Amazon is back to $250. Edited July 25, 201510 yr by Kevink24
July 29, 201510 yr Can anyone confirm the number of bags in this set. I received an open box from AWD and want to confirm everything is included. Thanks
