I saw an article about this and I decided I should share it with you guys/gals. There is a new animated Lego movie coming out called.... "The Lego Movie" by the Warner Bros. (I'm pretty sure they could have came up with a better name.) (: Anyways, the movie is slated to be shown in U.S. theaters on February 7th 2014. (Shown in 2D and 3D.) The cast includes Will Arnett from "Arrested Development", Morgan Freeman, Liam Neeson from "Taken 2", Alison Brie from "Community", Nick Offerman from "Parks and Recreation", and Elizabeth Banks from the "Hunger Games." The directors/writers are Phil Lord and Christopher Miller. (21 Jump Street, and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.)

Considering the popularity of Lego and the star-filled cast, I think this movie will do great. What is your opinion about the release of a Lego movie?

The micro manager serves as a fantastic gag gift too.

Your guess is as good as anyone else on here or Eurobricks. Considering the 'cheapies' McDonalds has handed out in the past, I don't see anything close to 'real' Lego; more like it looks Legoish. All I know is it is supposed to be related to The Lego Movie and that is all.

I am actually more excited about Benny's spaceship than the Metalbeard's ship.  They did a great job creating something that look retro yet fresh.   :goodjob:

The only thing I ''hate'' on that space ship is the freaking cat face in the middle... it just turns me off cos it destroys the space feeling I mean cmon.. a kitty in space lol with a GIANT head even.

Might make you feel more accepting of Kitty after seeing the movie? Also love the Benny in his classic blue spaceman outfit. Maybe there will be a rush on any blue spacemen on eBay when the movie comes out...

Benny`s Ship screams classic space! It`s excellent from the photo, and pretty much an instant buy for anyone who loves that sort of thing. MetalBeard`s ship is stunning! Can`t wait for more detailed photos of that one, or for it to get into my living room

We don't know yet as nobody has found any. It shouldn't be much longer before at least one is spotted.

Aside from his 'wink', all this uses is the Sleepyhead's torso and legs. I'm actually getting annoyed with all the little Emmet's out there. Jeeze.... :wacko:
