I don't think so. The Navy heard the implosion a few days ago, before O2 depletion.

Current theory is the sub imploded when they lost contact on Sunday as the US Navy picked up the sound with their sensors.  Also, the Coast Guard did not detect any implosion during their search meaning it happened before search operation had begun.

The whole O2 calculation was at best a distraction
