So this Bounty Hunter battle pack... The box image shows three exclusive figs from 10221 SSD (Bossk, Dengar and IG-88). Surely they won't be using three exclusive figs from 6 years ago in a battle pack?

The photos from the toy fair show plain white placeholder figs with that set, so I'm hoping they'll be updated figs in the set.

LOL - SSD resurrection?

There is nothing "exclusive" anymore.  LEGO has run out of ideas with the STAR WARS theme it would appear.

Very sad since they are still many items w/in the Star Wars universe that can be on Lego form.

If you don't rehash, then what you end up doing is more and more obscure if you don't want to only stick to the most recent movie. Star Wars has its core characters and vehicles, and the main audience will be always looking for those. Obscure stuff is a hard sell and there are not enough collectors to justify maintaining exclusivity of core assets. I think this was obvious from the beginning. However, as movies will keep coming out yearly, the sets related to those are very likely to stay exclusive.

Ah right, I wasn't sure if some of the latest pics from shows etc had put the rumour to bed. Still a decent period to get rid in-between that time if the rumours do look like turning out to be true. Only time will tell. Sold prices dropped about £6-8 (when taking potential postage charges into account) on the recently retired one in my non-forensic quick search on UK Ebay since last week. It'll probably stick around the same price give or take a few quid for a while anyway. Maybe.

There are still the TLJ sets to be announced and 2 undisclosed other number sets for September.

I have doubts about another IST, but the usual suspects of ISD and AT AT are to be considered.

UCS wise, it´s MF and BB8 to be confirmed.

Set numbers pending: 75176,77,79 (probably MF), 87-90 all TLJ

75192 and 93 other TBC sets non TLJ.

Anyone know if Dessert Skiff is a Target exclusive in the USA? I would doubt it but I haven't seen it anywhere else yet.

I think it probably is.  It was not at the Lego store as well as the new land speeder.  Does anyone know if the land speeder is exclusive to a store?  Maybe walmart?  I think the new a-wing is exclusive to toys r us.

Anybody know when Star Wars "winter 2017" sets will be released at retail (Walmart, Target, etc.) in US? I know they were released Jan 1 in Europe. I heard March 1 a while ago but they are all available at LEGO Shop at Home US already so I am just wondering. Thanks if anybody does...

They were all released last friday the 17th.  I've seen them at Toys R Us, and a couple walmarts so far.  I was also in a lego store, and they had all of them out.

The A-wing is TRU, Desert Skiff is Target, and Landspeeder is Walmart.  However, the Landspeeder hasn't shown up on their site yet.

Respect to these guys who have bothered to take and upload comprehensive galleries from the Toyfair. Puts to shame the lame coverage by some of the so-called Lego specialist and fan sites.

I was out over the weekend, and just now checking on the news.  Overall, I really like new quadjumper.  I was dogging on that set being an option when I first heard it was being released, but now that they have pictures, I think they did a pretty decent job on this one, and i'll probably definitely get a copy.

The Republic tank reminds me of the AAT from 2 years ago.  A smaller scale version of the original, but at the price point, it's hard not to pick up one because the minis make it worth it.

All the battle packs are great this year.

The freemaker sets do have incredible designs, but I always put these on the backburner, because they aren't part of the main movie lines, and I always see these as the redheaded step-children of the Star Wars Universe (no offense to any red headed step children).  Overall, good designs, but I probably won't pick up any of those.

My hopes were up for the Rathtar escape, but were deflated when I saw the picture of the rathtar.  Lego should have made the minifig out of the one poster image they had from a year back.   Star Wars maxifigs!  That's the ticket.  Still waiting on the bantha too.

The Landspeeder is in stores. the A-Wing seems really expensive. Like twice as much as it should be.

I agree... 39.99 for that one at retail, although this week, you can get it for 32 without coupons/points.  Still... the set looks much better defined than the 2013 version, but I think it's about 7.00 overpriced.  Basically, I feel for 20% off to get it to that 32.00 that's what I would consider "retail price"..

Paying the price to get a Bespin Lando figure that hasn't appeared since the Cloud City set.

It would have been a $45 set had they included R2 in it:drag:

Not Bespin Lando, General Lando from the battle of Endor. The A-Wing looks like a recolor of the Vader's TIE vs. A-Wing.
