I was thinking they had a policy with only one free give-away per household, regardless of number of orders. Has this changed?

They have always stated this in the fine print, but I've never seen it enforced personally. That being said, I've only ever received maybe 3 or 4 of any given promo as I think that's my risk tolerance level. Some of our fellow members have reported ordering 20+ promo qualifying orders without issue.

Well for you I am sure.. But i am not yet qualified for those amazing Kmart benefits ... Maybe by Christmas I can hit VIP status.. I scooped another IST with free mini fig and poster just a moment ago, as last nights 2 orders are already in warehouse!!

Those "amazing" Kmart benefits do not require VIP level rewards. Just opening a SYW account will already give you free points (forget if it's $10 in points or a $10 off $25/$50coupon). Then keep checking syw.com for surprise points and coupons and before you know you will be rolling points and stacking coupons. This is how I started in Jan of this year and as reported in the KART thread, i've spent $600 and got >$1100 worth of sets, most 2016 ones, and that is sale price.. the savings over MSRP are even bigger.

I am not sold on all you guys scooping up the IST it might be your best idea of a deal, due to the promos& x2 pts, but you can get on eBay and other sites for same price so not really a sale if you ask me. to each their own, count me out of that one, besides I Don't remember  Princess Leia eating cookies! :beerhat:

It's a nice set and a nice companion to the Ewok Village. I wouldn't discount it entirely.

Been checking everyday since I signed up for SYW in February.. Best I have gotten is $10 back off $20..$15 on $50....get those Somewhat frequently...I haven't received ANY offers that are overwhelming.. I get the daily email" YOU HAVE SURPISE POINTS" when I look it's like $2 or $5.. (Wow)...Not to mention Kmart loves to send me my Lego order in plastic bags!!! (3 returns of flattened Lego in plastic bags this year so far). But I  am stubborn and keep trying..

That shipping experience sucks. Haven't had much trouble yet - but I buy for part out so box condition is minor concern for me. Ordering in multiples has so far done wonders wrt packaging. For the smaller purchases I do ship to store (Sears) and that works fantastically....

The trick is to buy other smaller sets on-sale, combine coupons, points and gift cards to lower them to almost 50% off, get points back.  Accumulate enough points, use $10 coupon on IST (down to $90), use points down to $50, use discount gift card and $10 back on $50 coupon.  Get an IST for $50 and $10 back.

They have all been minty and packaged well.

Meh. I loaded up during the Walmart clearance. Hard to buy an IST when they were had for $49.

Don't blame you at all if you had buy-ins at $49 previously. I'm glad you were able to score such a good a deal. You're ROI should be outstanding.

Unfortunately not all of our Walmarts participated in the winter clearance, and many of us weren't able to pick up $49 IST, $35 MF, $29 Space Ports etc.

Because of that, I'm happy with my my deal today.

During the keychain Jor-El polybag fiasco I got about 12 Jor-El's but I think that was mainly because they were trying to get rid of them and didn't really care.

If you are ordering small sets you have to order in large quantities so they have to use a box or only buy sets with at least 400-500 pieces so they have to use a box. Even then their packing is bad and their boxes are flimsy.

You made out with an UCS AOH set in-hand, so I'm not sure we can that you "made out well"  :lolu:

Lol I have about 90% of all Hoth sets released. I plan on doing some sort of MOC. I have a 6 foot floating shelf that I have the other Hoth sets on. If I didn't intend to "do something" with this set I would be up in arms with everyone else. I personally don't care if it's a UCS or not. I'll use the set and with all the free stuff I consider it a good buy lol

That combo looks pretty familiar. Sawgrass mills?

Yeah! You where there? Another BPer (boomboom) was suppose to be there to. If I didn't have to be at work at 10 I may have stayed a little longer. I had to be in and out.

Kinda gives a whole new meaning to "Adult Fan of LEGO"

That's what she said?
