From LEGO:

“The LEGO Star Wars Death Star was a huge hit with fans when it launched in 2008 and we are excited to announce that we have made some awesome updates and improvements to this huge model! Our designers added over 200 bricks and elements as well as 3 new minifigures. This 2016 version offers a great building experience to both those fans who have the original set, and those who may be new to the LEGO Star Wars universe. This is not an indication of any future re-release or set updates.”"

So, the line about future remakes isn't in the press release.  @CM4Sci, can you site somewhere where that statement was included?  I mean, other than it came with the pictures?  What do you mean?

Really? As in the release box artwork does? I just checked my TIEs and none of mine have it on them twice. Mind you I am in Aus.

Yup. On one side with the image (like the one on the front), there are 2 gold UCS badges side by side. It's either the left or right side, not top or bottom.

From BrickFan:

One thing to note in the press release notes was that the UCS Death Star (75159) is not an indication of any future re-release or set updates.
